Awful customer service, they don't meet timelines, they blame assembly on being through a third party and take no accountability. Website looks like great products but stay away, there are lots of other options that treat their customers better.

They have the best customer service on the planet. My order was slightly damaged during shipping and they were able to replace the parts I needed very quickly. In a very friendly and courteous manner. All companies should try to be like this company!!! And the gazebo I purchased was made with great precision that I was able to assemble this large item with no problems at all.

Be careful As they use sub contractors that does not have insurance. No workers comp as if they get injured on your personal property. Homeowners are responsible. Customer service also takes months to get back to you. I have been waiting since May.

I purchased a 14' x 16' Barrington Pergola directly from the manufacture. Price was better than big box stores, and membership stores. Pergola was shipped on a pallet via a third party hauler and arrived in about 2 weeks, 100% without damage or defect. Driver delivered to the driveway. I also paid to have a third party assemble the pergola thru Backyard Discovery. For me this was a VERY positive experience from talking with Customer Service before I ordered on line all the way through the install. We are very happy with the purchase, quality of product and would buy again. Please research this company before you buy another brand, I did. They have a better product as to snow load, roof and again the pieces fit together perfectly.
