Impossible Assemby/Impossible Warranty
The first thing you should know when purchasing this product is that the assembly is very extensive. We ended up paying $500 for the installation and it took two Workers three full days to complete a set. I’m not sure if the breakdown parts is for ease in shipping, but there are way too many pieces that could have been pre-drilled or preassembled. In addition, it is impossible to fill out the product warranty, which appears to be by Design. When you try to click on the state you are in there is a checkmark and you are unable to enter a state. In addition, they ask for things like box numbers, and product details that are overly excessive when you’ve already confirmed buying the swingset. Most people throw away the boxes after the installation which I’m sure they are fully aware of. The product once assembled is fantastic, however, it takes forever to assemble, and you’re not going to be able to complete the warranty registration form. So the excellent price at Costco $1400 is not the actual
Cost unless you have over a week and plenty of time to complete the assembly yourself.

Horrible customer service and they change your installation day 5 mins before they come. I waited almost 2 months for installation they didn’t care for customer regards. Only their company
Customer "Service" not very accommodating
We are very happy with the Deluxe Big and Bright Play Kitchen we purchased for our granddaughters' birthdays. However, 10 days after our purchase, we saw it was $179.99 (we paid $199.99). On Feb. 3, 2026, I phoned KidKraft Customer Service, as well as emailed them, and was told they do not honor any kind of price adjustment. I explained we are a senior citizen couple on a fixed income and I was not asking them to do a "price match" from another company. I also would not expect them to do accommodate my request had it been longer than 30 days since our purchase. I was simply asking them to refund $20.00 for the lower price offered just 10 days after our purchase. They would not bend in any way whatsoever. As I write this review today (March 1, 2026) the price is still $179.99. Due to their strict rules, I will never purchase from this company again, nor will I suggest it to anyone. Customer "Service" goes a long way; unfortunately, they were unwilling to work with a customer on such a small request.
Very misleading and shady business…
Very misleading and shady business practices.
This company advertises a 50% off installation offer, but once you place the order, they suddenly reject the installation and tell you that you’re on your own. There is no real installation support behind the offer—it feels like a bait-and-switch.
To make matters worse, if you decide to return the product after realizing this, they charge a restocking fee, even though the situation was created by their false advertising.
Overall, this experience felt scammy and dishonest. I would not recommend buying from this company or trusting their promotions.
The Best dollhouse ever bought
It is the first time in my life to see such a smart doll house installation wise.
Everything fits perfectly and I didn’t expect my job as a parent to be that easy fixing the dollhouse for my 8 years old daughter.
My daughter is so happy with her Christmas gift.
I recommend this dollhouse all the way to everyone and it is by all means the best dollhouse ever bought
Poor quality
Press wood that lacks substance not worth the price or effort. My kids never even got a chance to play with it before it fell apart.

Cancelled my order placed several days ago, 4 days before Christmas!!!! Not only this but I called them before ordering to first ensure they had it in stock and to inquire how long the shipping would take. For them to just cancel on me saying they are out of stock… I am beyond angry and I still haven’t seen my refund. For this reason I would never recommend working with this. Very unprofessional company. And the last on the phone was also super unprofessional laughing saying “you are 2 days too late for Ontario shipping” as if there was anyway I would know this… All I asked is roughly

I find it outrageous that I purchased the Hamptons Mansion & Pool House Dollhouse for my little Nieces. I actually had a Carpenter put it together because I knew I wanted it done right. Not only did he make it clear that it seemed incredibly flimsy; after he moved it a few inches, the wall on one side broke!!!. I obviously realized that it could not be sturdy enough to be moved to my niece's house, never mind, standing up long enough for them to play with it. The only answer from customer service was that they could only send me a new wall! I will never purchase anything from them again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Shopping with Kidkraft was the worst…
Shopping with Kidkraft was the worst shopping experience. Delivery was delayed significantly and without notice, I took time off to wait for deliveries that never came. Once the structure was delivered, two boxes were damaged, missing most of the slide and not sure what could've been missing from the other damaged box. Due to this and the delays in shipping, I chose to return the portion of the structure I did receive. Customer service demanded I provide an inventory (there are likely hundreds of parts), I told them this demand was unreasonable. They also wanted to charge me to return an item they sent incomplete and damaged. I understand things happen; however, their lack of accountability and customer service was an indication of their product and service. I will never order from Kidkraft again.

I would give a zero review if I could, do not buy from this company scam! I thought I can trust them since I’ve seen them all over the place. I’ve even seen their products in Costco. You cannot trust them. They are a terrible company!

This is the worst experience ever. I received my playset and parts were broken. They told me the parts were not available and had no idea when they could be available. I received nothing from the company to resolve the issue. I have a pile of boards with no way to create a play set out of them. My kids are beyond upset and the company has ignored all my requests to solve the issue.

Terrible customer service from this company. I bought a £2000 climbing frame and part of the slide broke after minimal use. I contacted the company 7 months ago via their replacement parts order form to ask if I could purchase a replacement part. I initially received a quick response saying they would place the order and be back in touch with me. Over the last 7 months I have contacted them repeatedly to try and get the part but have never received another response from them. Meanwhile, the slide cannot be used as it is unsafe and it seems impossible to buy the replacement part needed. I find it hard to believe that a company this size can completely ignore all communication.
Would not puchase anything from…
Will not purchase anything from KidKraft in the future. We were gifted an easel from grandparents and when we went to put it together we had two of one piece and were missing the correct piece that holds the paint. When we reached out to KidKraft to receive a replacement piece it was incredibly difficult for them to even confirm we had been given an easel, but after confirmation they said the piece missing was on backorder and they had not time frame for when we would receive it. It has been months and we have a half built easel with no timeframe of when the missing piece will arrive. Their customer service has been horrible and when we asked for a refund they said they would give us a 10% discount. When we pushed for a refund they were incredibly unhelpful and refused.

I ordered a dollhouse and it was delivered with water damage and a ripped open box. Half the pieces fell out and kidkraft refused to let me return the item. I emailed 20 times back and forth and kidkraft kept emailing in circles and said they aren’t responsible for damages. I will never order anything from kidkraft again! If I had ordered from Amazon I could’ve returned it with no problem at all. Kidkraft is terrible and their associates are rude and don’t give a damn about the issue.
Missing piece never replaced
Bought the pirate cove ship and house from Amazon for my son's birthday in September. There was a missing piece and I have tried numerous times to get it replaced. I have ordered the missing piece from their website twice and emailed customer service a number of times. Despite this being my son's main birthday present he's never been able to play with it.
Poor quality product, even poorer customer service
My mother purchased the kidkraft Uptown kitchen for my two and a half year old for Christmas. This play kitchen set (which is made of compressed particle board) retails for $150. Upon putting it together I realized that we were missing some pieces so I reached out to their customer service email. The representative told me it was no issue to give my name, address, and the pieces that were missing and they could send the parts. She also suggested that I finish building the kitchen to ensure no more pieces were missing (a process that took over two hours). I emailed back that we were only missing the 6 tiny plastic spacers used to hold the knobs in place and understood if they shipped after the holidays. The representative emailed back that the pieces were out of stock with no ETA on when they would be back in but I could return it to the retailer. She wanted me to return the fully built kitchen (that she recommended to finish building) rather than ship 6 cheap plastic pieces. This is 8 days before Christmas and this is a Christmas gift. I contacted the customer service phone line who acted like they were going to help me without issue. After being on hold for a bit the representative told me that they could not ship the pieces because I hadn't sent proof of purchase. This was not purchased by me and my mother no longer has the receipt as we did not plan on returning the item. I sent pictures of the kitchen with all of the packing and the new box it just came out of as well as the pieces that were included and the instructions showing the missing pieces. They still refused to put me on the wait list for the parts that their quality control omitted from the box! I was told I can purchased through a form on their website in April or May when they may be restocked. This issue with this is that the form also needs an uploaded proof of purchase in order to buy the parts that the company didn't include in the first place. It is absurd to me that a company will not own up to their own mistake and ship 6 tiny plastic pieces that probably cost all of 3¢ to manufacture. Will not be buying an products from this company in the future.
