I’ve been in Badz a bunch of times, I’ve traded and I’ve bought with them. They’re always happy to chat and talk things through even when they’re busy. Prime example of how nice these guys are, me and my son are failing miserably to get any ascended heroes pokemon bits. But we walk in, ask and because he’s a kid and loves pokemon, they immediately hook him up with a tin at RRP. Sounds like nothing but when he can’t get a pack after 2 days of hunting for them, It means the world to him! (Helps that he pulled mega gengar Attack rare from that tin) top blokes, great place for the community! 11/10.

The shop is always so welcoming, Alex and Alex are are always willing to chat and discuss upcoming release or events that are going on within the community. My son who is 6, is so happy to go to the shop and is always treated amazingly, the staff always have time to help him even when it’s busy, even though it may not be as much time as when it’s quiet but they do the best they can with a shop which is often full of people! Overall Badz hasn’t been open long and it’s amazing to see the atmosphere they’ve created in such a short space of time!

Alex and the team are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, competitive TCG player, or just browsing they are inclusive. Despite being a small independent business they work hard to be attentive to every customer and always super friendly.

They cater to Pokémon and other TCG products, plus plenty of bits and bobs for all ages. The shop is bright, clean, spacious and super easy to get to.

They do their best to ensure distribution is as fair as possible, which is hugely appreciated in these high-trend times (hi scalpers👋🏼) :-)

Lastly, as a small independent business that recently experienced an unfortunate large theft, they deserve even more support right now. It is important to remember that these are real people behind these businesses, working incredibly hard to make them thrive. Always be kind.

Have made purchases online, at card conventions and prior to the new store. Always happy to give time to discuss cards and is a genuine fan of TCG. Prices are fair with market conditions and has sold items at retail when they aren’t a trade in (these then go for market which is how shops are able to have product with so many people now buying to flip for profit).

A must visit whenever you are in the area, every time I have visited the store has been stocked up with amazing products and the staff are always super helpful.

I am not the most knowledgeable collector but when I traded in over 100 cards, they were priced up over a weekend and I was given so much more value than I thought i would get. The guys in the store gave me invaluable information helping me collect some of my chase cards.

I enjoy walking to this shop. Both staff members that I see on every occasion are always welcoming and remember you. I was unlucky to miss out on the release of the new product , but there is still plenty to chose from.

Product availability is insane, compared to many other shops the stock is outstanding and hits such a wide price range, meaning everyone can get something they want, no matter their budget.

Friendly and respectful to all and any age range, specifically good with those who may not feel super confident or shy.

Great shop that I have been going to since opening in Cwmbran. Great guys, a great selection of Pokemon products and other misc bits that are always super fun to look at. Trustworthy guys as I have also done a lot of Pokemon trades with them. Recommend highly and will keep on visiting!

After being open such a short time these boys are smashing it especially after all the hurdles they’ve had to jump through already. Incredible shop full of stock at all times! Always friendly and happy to give anybody the time of day especially during busy times and only being a small team. Always good with prices and very fair with their trade ins. I always pop in to show my face and check in how they’re getting in every time I pop to Cwmbran town and they’re always so welcoming and ready to chat. Couldn’t recommend badz enough 🙌

Both amazing guys, one of the best places to go chat, hang out, experience is always amazing. Stock is endless and I got to give it to them there nearly as handsome as me.

My daughter (15) came to the shop today and she's been excited all week as she was hoping to sell some Pokémon cards, that she had scanned online to find out there worth. She went along without me and afterwards was so upset. The man serving was very rude to her, told her to 'Hurry up, I'm busy', not at any point was she offered to come back at a quieter time. He told her that her most expensive card was fake without confirming why when she questioned this. He always offered her less than half of what she was offered online (she was not with an adult and I have since found out should have been for any trades to happen). He then refused to look at any of her other cards. My daughter was crushed. She came away so upset, we will ever use the shop again. The man serving today needs to be taught some customer service skills. I appreciate he may have been busy but there is no excuse to be rude! Do not allow your children to go into the shop alone as it looks like they may try to take advantage even though they say they do not trade to children alone.
