Absolutely amazing and fist class experience! Used them several times. Dr Karina and staff made experience exceptional!! Was able to get a free online consultation within a couple hours, received excellent medical advice, excellent quick administrative coordination, then had seamless delivery of prescription needed to my home. I had my first appointment with BaliDoc this morning and was totally satisfied. The Doctor was skilled and knowledgeable and the process was on time and efficient. He made his diagnosis and, after paying, gave me the prescriptions I needed which were easily filled at my local apotek. I will use the service for all my front line medical needs. Excellent!

Terrible service
I scheduled an online consultation with the doctor and waited in the conference for 20 minutes… but no one ever showed up.
My time was completely wasted — deeply unprofessional and incredibly disappointing. I cannot recommend this at all.

What a fabulous service
What a fabulous service! Have a dental implant soon and was feeling extremely anxious. Took to Google to see if I could get medication prescribed and stumbled across this free 20 minute appointment so booked only 40 minutes before my chosen time. The Dr was understanding and went through a few questions. Sadly he could only recommend over the counter medication and sent me a list through whatsapp. Fabulous to be able to get a Dr's appointment so fast but also over the Internet.

WHY CHARGING IN US DOLLARS and FEE SO HIGH?
My general practicioner doctor wasn't much help to provide me with a prescription for a common medication that i'm running out and instead told me that I needed to get a consultation with a psychiatrist for USD 75 just to get a prescription. Was quite annoyed that Balidoc is charging IN US DOLLARS in Indonesia AND USD 75 is about 1,250,000 Rupiah which is a very high / huge amount in Indonesia for a simple consultation (only around 250,000 to 400,000 Rupiah MAX for locals). For an online service, it's a big rip off the fact that Balidoc is charging in US DOLLARS and such a HIGH FEE just for a consultation which DOES NOT even include prices for the drugs.

For clarity, all patients at BaliDoc first receive a free initial online consultation with one of our general practitioners. In many cases, prescriptions can be issued directly at this stage.
In this situation, the medication involved falls under a regulated category in Indonesia that requires specialist oversight due to safety and interaction considerations. Under local medical regulations, this type of medication cannot be prescribed or renewed by a general practitioner, but is commonly prescribed after an online assessment by a licensed psychiatrist.
The psychiatrist consultation fee covers a fully compliant specialist evaluation in English, conducted entirely online, without the need to visit a clinic, wait in queues, or navigate the local healthcare system. Once a valid prescription is issued, we can also coordinate legal prescription handling and medication delivery directly to a hotel or villa, which many international travelers find especially helpful.
We display pricing in USD for transparency for international visitors; the full equivalent in Indonesian Rupiah is shown before payment. Medication costs are separate, as they depend on pharmacy pricing, dosage, and availability, and this is communicated in advance.
While we understand how stressful it can be to run low on medication while traveling, we cannot bypass medical safety standards or local regulations. Our role is to ensure care that is safe, appropriate, and legally valid in Indonesia.
