I ordered the BallisticHelm FAST SF…

I ordered the BallisticHelm FAST SF WENDY Exfil high-cut NIJ Level III3. I received the helmet amd it looks good. I reached out to the company visit their email twice to see why the helmet came from China. Also when I received the helmet l, there were no manufacturer tags on it. I expected to see a TEAM WENDY tag or something. I asked in my email if this was actually a TEAM WENDY helmet. I have never received a response regarding the product coming from China or if the helmet is actually a WENDY helmet or not.... just makes me wonder if the specs are accurate.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality. Terrible customer service. On the website says that they are located in Colorado, but when requested return address, the address is in China. Do not buy from this place.

Do not buy from here

Ordered a helmet from this company in early November. It arrived over a month later and the product was heavily damaged. Per the website a damaged item upon arrival is entitled to a full refund. I emailed the support staff to ask for a refund and was given a ridiculous answer, asked if I could just fix the helmet with a rubber mallet, or would take less than a quarter of the original product price as a refund. I have pictures of the helmet being dropped off damaged, and even the shipping company showed picture of it on delivery being damaged.

I've yet to hear any further response from the company.

Update 12/25/25: company reached out and refunded me for the damaged helm.

Decided to take the damaged model out to the range for a few test shots. .22LR put a goofball sized dent when hit flat on from 15 yards. .357 sig technically didn't penetrate, but put a grapefruit sized dent into the helmet, and would have definitely crushed your skull. Definitely not rated IIIA. Maybe for shrapnel at best.

After following up with our shipping partner and reviewing a clearer delivery photo they provided from their system, we confirmed the issue: the box top was smashed in, and the dents on your item were caused by rough handling and heavy pressure during transit. This was entirely the local carrier’s fault, and we’re appalled our high-quality product was damaged before reaching you. We’re already escalating this issue with the shipping company to demand stricter handling standards.

As part of our standard process, in-stock items typically require 1–5 business days for processing before shipment. Since you placed your order on 2025-09-11, it hasn’t been shipped yet, but it was originally scheduled to be sent out this week.

Doesn’t look bulky

So suprise! This one has a sleek shape. Doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing a huge piece of gear, which is nice for customer-facing shifts. Still, the protection doesn’t feel compromised at all.

Meets the safety standards

Checked the specs before buying, and it’s certified for the protection level I need. Had a colleague who’s a safety expert look at it, and he said the build quality is top-tier. No cheap materials here, feels like it’ll last years.

Ordered this for a tactical training course, and it arrived 2 days early! Came well-packaged, no scratches or damage. Put it through drills right away, and it performed exactly as advertised.
