One of the product I ordered was missing in my package (because of the France Poste) but Balolo support team responded in a minute to my issue, to give me a solution and send me the missing product asap.

I ordered the large cockpit and a bunch of accessories, spent over £300 with them as a first time customer, only to find out later that there were hidden £80-90 customs charges. (Just like so many here… wish I had looked earlier).

Balolo’s response was that this charge would be deducted from a refund if the items were sent back. So basically it’s a lose lose situation for me and resulted in these items costing me close to £400, which is extortionate.

This company is being purposely sneaky in hiding this information deep in their website, and not providing it upfront when you’re ordering. No quality of product is worth this type of experience, I will never be buying from the again and will be actively DISCOURAGING anyone I know in the tech industry in the UK to avoid them going forward .

If someone shops in their local currency on a website they SHOULD NOT have to refer to the companies shipping policy every time they make a purchase just incase. And this company’s copy paste response every time just makes the situation worse.

I ordered the medium cockpit and a load of accessories, only to find out later that there were hidden customs charges. I can see now I should have looked at Trustpilot previously, given that complaints of this nature stretch back almost a year, and yet Balolo have done NOTHING to rectify the issue for customers. The product itself is undeniably great, however I would have reconsidered the purchase had I known about the extortionate customs charges. When speaking to customer service, I was told I could return the product for a refund, however the full customs charge would be taken from my refund, leaving me somewhat trapped. No solutions offered. If someone shops in their local currency on a website they DO NOT expect to have customs charges applied or hidden and SHOULD NOT have to refer to the companies shipping policy every time they make a purchase just incase.

This is old fashioned customer excellence at its finest! The product is excellent and the people are amazing. I literally had a question about a product in one of their photos and they got me the name, it wasn't even their product! Great people and the craftsmanship and design is flawless. You will not be disappointed.

I work from home and am at my computer a lot. I LOVE this cockpit and all the add on's! I'm obsessed with Balolo and sent a before/after pick to all my friends

i had an issue with a package where it was accidentally shipped to the wrong house before christmas. i reached out to their customer support email and Asja was so incredibly helpful and quick to respond and get a new shipment and kept me updated the entire time and was able to get me a new one by christmas. best customer service ever. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Seit 11 Tagen zeigt der Tracking Link unverändert an, dass die Ware nur angekündigt wurde. Der Kundenservice sagt ich solle warten, aber ich weiß ja nicht mal worauf. Würde mir an der Stelle mehr Support erhoffen.

Update: Es gab 4 Wochen später eine Ersatzlieferung + 20€ Gutschein. Deshalb eine kleine Veränderung der Bewertung von 3, auf 4 Sterne.

Update: Hatte ein Problem mit einem Artikel nach einigen Monaten und dieser wurde anstandslos ersetzt! Top. Deshalb von 4 auf 5 Sterne.

Ich habe den Balolo Desk Stand jetzt seit ein paar Wochen im Einsatz und bin wirklich begeistert! Das Design ist super minimalistisch und passt perfekt zu meinem Schreibtisch-Setup. Der Stand bringt meinen Monitor auf die ideale Höhe, was für eine deutlich bessere Sitzhaltung sorgt – mein Nacken dankt es mir schon jetzt.

Was ich besonders praktisch finde: Unter dem Stand ist genug Platz für Zubehör. Ich kann dort mein Tablet, Ladegeräte und sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten verstauen, die sonst nur unnötig Platz auf dem Schreibtisch wegnehmen würden. Außerdem fühlt sich das Material richtig hochwertig an, und die Kombination aus Holz und Metall macht echt was her – es sieht einfach toll aus.

Alles in allem bin ich mehr als zufrieden. Der Balolo Desk Stand hält, was er verspricht, und ich würde ihn jederzeit weiterempfehlen! 👌

The large Balolo Setup Cockpit is a fantastic monitor stand and organizer for my desk. I purchased the beautiful American Walnut, and it’s comforting to look at as I work. Its construction is solid and weighty, and the modular design lets me configure what I need to stay clutter-free, and thus, have less distractions. While there are other cheaper options on Amazon, I believe you pay for what you get: beauty, reliability, and organization in one expertly crafted desk piece.

Recently received my new monitor stand and I could not be happier. The quality is great, my desk looks way more neat and organized.

Customer support was very responsive and friendly. The packaging was well done, and I appreciated that it was entirely paper-based.

I truly don't understand people complaining about import taxes and giving Balolo a low rating because of that. While I agree that this information could be more prominent on Balolo's website, for example, highlighted at checkout, it's the customer's responsibility to know about those charges when ordering from abroad.

Was very disappointed to find out that I would have to pay £90 in customs charges on top of the £320+ I had already spent. Their website does not make this clear, which is why I am leaving such a low rating. Beware if you are from the UK and order from them, you will pay extortionate customs fees and would only know about these if you read the small print on their shipping policy. Had the page told me when ordering that I would have to pay customs charges I would not of ordered. Whilst the product is of very good quality, it was not worth the additional money in customs charges

Habe mir den Monitorständer Large in der Massivholz-Variante mit Fächern und Stiftablage bestellt. Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell mit DHL. Der Ständer sieht super aus und ist ordentlich verarbeitet. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man etwas mehr Platz auf dem Schreibtisch benötigt - durch den Ständer kann man problemlos Sachen unter dem Monitor platzieren. Und selbst bei installierten Fächern bleibt noch Luft, um z.B. die Tastatur drunterzuschieben, wenn man den Schreibtisch mal für andere Dinge als die Arbeit am Computer benötigt. Evtl. werde ich mir noch weiteres Add-Ons/Halterungen bestellen.

The Setup Cockpit is a fantastic bit of kit. It's elevated (pun intended!) my desk set up, tidying some things stored underneath (mini PC, USB docks) and better positioned my Stream Deck and phone holder using their accessories.

One small gripe would be not knowing the customs charges into the UK so seeing it was being held and then a letter to pay an extra £70 was a bit of a shock and has made me somewhat hesitant on buying more as it'll be more expensive than it already is. But can't hold Brexit against Balolo! And the quality is fantastic.

I was positively impressed and never expected such an improvement in my work from home setup appearance and organisation.

I wanted the black wood option but erroneously ordered the American walnut. The color of the wood gave a stylish look to my desk and fitted well with the overall decor.

Assembly was very quick and the multiple options where to attach the accessories made on the fly adjustments easy.

Overall quality is very good. Will definitely consider buying again in the future.

This is a review from the United States. This product is beautiful, functional and exceptionally well-made. One part was missing when my order arrived. I emailed the company and received a response within hours from Veronika notifying me the part I requested was on its way!
