I will not be a return customer for Baltic born. The dress arrived and it was shabby, ugly, and scratchy. There is no way to return items to them for a full refund and the customer must pay for the shipping on the return. Horrible experience with this poorly run company.

After many years of terrible experiences with Baltic Born I am throwing in the towel on ever shopping there again. Their policies are ridiculous - no refunds, only store credit, and then the credit expires. No help if your shipment never comes until you spend money on scammy shipment insurance. PLUS the real problem here is that the sizing is so unpredictable and weird, so returns are inevitable.

When I ordered a couple dresses, I realized after he order submitted that they had charged me automatically for a five dollar shipping insurance that I never agreed to wanting nor did I opt in for. When I emailed customer service They said there’s nothing they can do and denied it being automatically added and I told them that that is not good business that they should allow us to opt if we want it and not have it hidden in a way they add it without us knowing. They didn’t really care about my complaint. They said basically too bad there’s nothing we can do.

I ordered the Marine Mock Maxi dress and the Katherine Maxi dress online.
The dresses came quickly and they fit perfectly! I am extremely impressed with fit and quality!

Bought two dresses for the first time. Quality was definitely not worth the price, lots of loose threads, cheap material and not sized correctly.would not purchase again. Return policy sucks.

*****WARNING AVOID THIS COMPANY***** I ordered three dresses from Baltic Born to see which one would look better for my daughter’s wedding. As soon as receiving the dresses, I knew that I was gonna send two back because they didn’t fit right. I started the return process on their website and requested the money go back to my original form of payment. And when you click to the next page, it only gives you the option of store credit or return for another item. Even though it clearly said refund to original payment method on the returns page. Since then I have sent five mails in the last five days and I get the automated response of oh I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this. You’re dealing with AL and she it’s just learning and that somebody would be in touch shortly as they were expediting this request. I wouldn’t hear anything. I’d send back the same email. They would send back the same response. We’ve gone round and round now five times I wish I would’ve read the reviews prior to me doing business with them. Definitely avoid this company horrible customer service… is there anyone else on here that can give me advice on how to get through to a real person and request a refund on my product? I paid the additional $4.95 which is for free shipping back to them if I wasn’t keeping an item. That’s BS. I can’t ship the item back because nobody’s contacted me about it. I’m beyond frustrated at this point. Can anyone else help me try to navigate around there horrible system so I can get my money back!!!!!!

I want to help others avoid the experience I had with Baltic Born. I would not recommend them. Buying a dress for a special occasion should be exciting and enjoyable, but my experience was the opposite.

Their return/exchange policy was extremely disappointing and made an already stressful situation worse. I truly wish I had read the reviews on BBB and other sites before purchasing.

Please do your research before ordering so you know exactly what you’re getting into.

Terrible customer service. They use AI to reply & you can’t ever reach an actual person.

The clothes fit poorly and they have a horrible return policy, only 14 day return window, and they take $20 off a return to original payment for "stocking fee" and then another $10 for shipping.

They have changed their return policy now, but when I ordered you could only get store credit for a refund, and of course that was not obviously posted. I tried to use my store credit once on sweaters and they were all absolutely crap quality, literally Shein quality. Have begged and pleaded for my money back and they will not return it. Have even asked them to please take a restocking fee and just give me back the rest of it and they will not.

I ordered a super cute dress, however I've heard returns are difficult so I opted to buy the return protection on my order. (Complete rip off, but I was desperate for a dress and I thought this one would fit perfectly). When I got the dress I tried it on, it was a dress with sleeves that drop off your shoulders down on your upper arms. Whoever designed this horrible dress didn't plan for any arm space, so it's completely tight on your arms, squeezing them to death, and if you move your arms at all the sleeves just pop up to your neck. Only good if you plan on not moving your arms at all while you wear the dress and be a statue all night. Horrible design, but I thought "oh well, at least I bought the return protection." I start my return and find out there's a $20 fee to return? I already bought the option to return, now I have to pay to return the product? Complete trash company, with trash policies and trash clothing. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Don't support a company that abuses and nickels and dimes their customers. Their whole business model is to screw you over. Let's let this one go out of business for being greedy.

I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER order from Baltic Born again. I PAID FOR THE ABILITY TO RETURN THE ITEM (PAID!!!) and then they make it as difficult as possible, only give you 14 days, push to give you store credit instead of a refund, and then TAKE $10 OFF OF MY REFUND?!!! I’m genuinely appalled and furious. I have never encountered such a terrible return policy anywhere. I will never order from them again.

Avoid. Cheap, low quality items that feel identical to those on Amazon but double or triple the price. They don't last long. Consider this "fast fashion" but at a premier price. You pay $4 for "free returns" when you checkout, but then when you actually need to return something you find out that it is in fact, not free. You have to pay another $20 to get your money back. Alternatively, you can get some back in store credit which leaves you in a never ending cycle of buying low quality items. Do not shop here-- it leads multiple headaches for busy women and moms who are simply trying to find good items.

Really awful and misleading company. Their clothes: I've ordered at least 15 items and all were extremely overpriced and most were junk, cheap, unwearable.
Their return policy: this is why I've ordered so much! My first purchase was one dress in 2 sizes. I paid for free return shipping, assuming that like every reputable clothing company, returns would be permitted. Nope. This company scams you by offering free return shipping in an obvious and clear way, but hiding their return policy. They only offer exchanges, no returns at all. I sent clothing back again and again and finally gave up on finding anything well made or sized appropriately or that looked anything like the pictures online. I'm keeping my last order even though it's mostly trash. Stay away.

The dress fit was weird--very tight in the bust and too long (and I am 5'8", 140 lbs). It also had way too much material to look good--my hubby thought I looked enormous in it. I had paid the $4.95 to have free return shipping--but then they still charge you $20 to return it! ($10 "restocking" and $10 to refund you??). So they now have my dress back PLUS they have kept $25. Never again! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! It's a shame because their dresses look cute in pictures. I have learned my lesson. You will also not hear back.

This company is one to beware of! Poor quality clothing and horrible customer service. It's been weeks and I still don't have my return refunded.

The fabric feels premium, but the sleeves are oddly tight. Not very comfortable for all-day wear.

I ordered a few new dresses from them last year, they were mostly okay, except for the Anita dress, I noticed the strap was already coming unsewn, but it was a very frayed spot. I couldn’t leave a review and got no email that would let me review it. I got another dress earlier this year, the aizey dress, and paid A HUNDRED dollars for a thin cotton dress with no lining, and the seams were not aligned. The top tier, one side is five inches closer to the pocket than the other side. I’m very frustrated with the quality for the price point and will not order again. More frustrating is the fact that I can’t leave a review.

Crappy dress that had gathering that was supposed to lay at the waist but hit mid-chest. Cheap material looked nothing like online pics. Even though I paid for return shipping they said it was a final sale and I couldn’t return it! Easy way to scam an extra $5 off of customers! Do NOT order from this awful company!

Do not order from this company. I tried it for the first time, and I that was my last time. Their customer service/returns system is terrible. I purchased the $4.95 “return insurance.” When I tried to return the dress because it was way too tight in the chest, the dress was marked as final sale. That was not on the receipt or listed when I purchased. Then I tried returning the skirt because I hate deception, and it charged me $20 to return even though I purchased the insurance.
