$60 for a dress and they are only refunding me $30!!! That’s insane. Would never ever order from here again.

If I could, I would give them a zero, a company that claims that it’s founded by women and understands our needs, has policies that are very unfriendly… once you buy something, they do not do any kind of returns, they also make it difficult to get a store credit … Have you noticed that all the social media accounts are deactivated? I think it’s because people would leave honest reviews in the comments that are not favorable to them… Shop elsewhere, this company will take your money and dresses look cheap

I’ve purchased dresses from Baltic Born in the past & they were beautiful, well made with quality material. I am so disappointed in my last purchase the material is obviously cheaper, flimsy & the construction of the dress is poor. Same size & similar design to my previous purchase & it’s way smaller, at least 2inches in the waist when compared with one I bought 2 years ago. It’s so frustrating because I really loved this brand. And their terrible return policy just makes it that much worse. Why don’t companies care about quality anymore? The decline is astounding.

If I could give this company and product zero stars I would. I was travelling for the holidays, and I packed my new $60 sweater without throughly inspecting the item, and after wearing it for an hour, a friend pointed out a hole in the armpit.

Once home, after traveling for the holidays, I reached out to Baltic Born to address the issue. I was informed that I had missed the 14 day damage return window and because it was worn, it wouldnt be eligible anyways. They then went on to tell me “As a smaller, sister run business, we have many policies in place for specific reasons, and we must abide by them. We always want to help and provide the best assistance that we can, but unfortunately we are not able to accommodate every request that customers may have.”

My reasonable request was for an exchange of the same item and they instead offered me a discount on a future purchase. Never buying from them again.

Would give zero stars if possible. Low quality products and their return policy just proves the owners are knowingly selling bad products. The business would lose too much money if they actually offered a refund for unwanted goods. Avoid at all costs.

New customer who bought two dresses. They were good quality/fabric, but had to return both due to misleading color depicted on the website as well as length issues (both shorter/longer than depicted).

My Mikla dress came threaded with a long paper security ribbon through the arm and neckline with various warnings about damaging or removing under threat of not being able to return, etc.

Although I knew about the rigid 'store credit only', I thought at least one of the two dresses I ordered would've worked out. But unfortunately not.

The whole experience with Baltic Born feels rigid, punative, and not customer-centric. I also tried to engage the Live Chat on their website to ask some questions and there was a date-stamped auto-prompt message that said "We're out for the holiday but will be back December 1, 2025" (it was 12/13/25 when I tried to chat with them). Really poor.

Additionally, they look like they are suppressing Google Reviews AND the only reviews they allow customers to leave on their website (which all happen to be 5 stars) are from buyers who belong to their Rewards club.

I don't want anything more to do with this brand. I'm a 'one and done' customer.

Purchased a black dress for a wedding. Dress was reasonably priced and looked beautiful online. The dress I received was made of material that was stiff and scratchy, tight in the chest and very large through the hips. Discovered the return policy is for store credit only. I have looked online to use the credit, but am fearful of the same issues and experience. So am just writing the cost off and will try to save someone else the trouble in the future. Really poor quality and horrible return policy.

I will never shop here again. They only offer in store credit for their crappy clothes. I just want my money back.

I ordered from Baltic Born several times before receiving an email that the two dresses I recently purchased were "unsellable" and I was no longer able to return items.

When I reached out for clarification they sent a picture of a few pieces of dog hair and then informed me the same issued happened 2024 and this was now my "second strike." When I told them I was never informed of the issue in 2024 and asked them to reconsider since I was never notified the first time, this was their response:

"Thanks for your reply and no problem at all, we'd be happy to attach those pictures from our returns team as requested. Additionally, we did not notify you of the other two in February, as we only inform customers at the 3rd strike, as that is when our returns team alerts our customer support team, of the repeated return situation. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Shoddy way of doing business...

I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered so many dresses to try on for my daughters wedding. I didn't like any of the dresses that I got they are not good quality. So I had a 400 credit that I had to use because THEY RETURN NOTHING! I bought some sweaters and am so disappointed. You are better off buying off of amazon.

Don’t buy from this company. I purchased a dress for a wedding, but it was darker than the online pictures. I purchased the “free shipping and protection.” The dress was not listed as final sale. I tried to initiate a return and it says it is not available for return. I keep getting automated responses- no human response so far. Terrible customer service.

Great customer service! I emailed them about a website glitch and they replied right away!
They also sent a reminder email that I had an $80 store credit that I had forgotten about!

Unethical return policies even when they are in the wrong. Not only do you only get store credit but if you pass the 30 point even by a day they refuse your return. Claiming the “condition” of the item cannot be guaranteed after 30 days like it’s a freaking carton of milk. Horrible customer service, terrible experience overall. Website colors are almost always off. So just be prepped for a headache. It’s sad because some of their items are cute.

STORE CREDIT POLICY ON RETURNS!

I bought a very nice navy blue and cream strip sweater for my daughter wedding event. I wore it once and washed it as the instructions told me to. When I started to pack the sweater I noticed pink run where the navy blue meets the cream. Since I am leaving in 4 days for wedding, I did email and called. It has been 72 hours since email and phone messages. They have not contacted me at all. For a 52.00 sweater this should not happen. I am just upset that no one has contacted me in regards to issue, based upon their timeline. I love the sweater and was looking forward to wearing it to one of the events. I really thought I would hear from them.

I wouldn't but from baltic born again. They charge you a return fee at check out. I bought the return fee, because I bought two dresses and wanted to see which one looked better. Tried to return it and was denied, website stating that the return was not eligible on that item. Tags were still on and I only tried it on at home. Will never be buying from Baltic Born again

I ordered 4 dresses to choose from for an upcoming gala and didn't like any of them for various reasons -sizing, colors, didn't look as pictured online. I paid for the "easy returns" at checkout and am now learning I can only get a store credit. Sure you can say I should've looked it up before shopping, but in this day and age, who doesn't allow refunds if you return items new with tags within the set timeframe. Also as a women owned company, it feels so anti-women to have such a strict policy when we all know how challenging it is to find the right fit even when measuring. Super disappointed in this brand. Was really hoping to find a nice, new place to shop.

Leider hat die Lieferung meiner Bestellung ewig gedauert, was wohl kein Einzelfall ist. Die Qualität des bestellten Kleides ist auch höchstens okay und ich finde die Farbe weicht von der Online-Darstellung sichtbar ab, da hätte ich mir bei dem Preis mehr erwartet. Man muss aufpassen, dass man auf jeden Fall die richtige Größe bestellt, umtauschen und Auswahlsendungen sind in dem Shop eigentlich echt keine Option. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es ein sehr schönes Kleid, das ich so oder so ähnlich nirgendwo anders gefunden hätte.
Fazit: wenn man dort „das“ Kleidungsstück findet, das man wirklich unbedingt haben will, kann man dort schon bestellen - empfehlen würde ich es aber keinesfalls.
