Overall, easy ordering experience, quick shipping, and pleased with the products so far. I'm just starting out in my weightlifting journey and was happy to find quality products at an affordable price point. There was a delay with one of the products I ordered, but they quickly notified me of the situation and offered reasonable solutions to rectify the situation. Their communication was honest, professional, ethical, and friendly. I rarely experience such good customer service these days, and I am completely blown away by this company so far. So glad I stumbled upon this company and will be a lifelong customer.

I had a pair of 10s that got lost in the mail and Barbell Standard replaced them for free! The plates I recently received also seemed to have smoother edges than the previous version, which is indicative of higher quality.

Jared from Barbell Standard is great to deal with. The company seems to always run sales on their products throughout the year. The shipping was extremely fast and the items arrived undamaged.

The equipment itself is amazing and has that classic look and feel to it. Only issue is my last two orders haven't showed up, however one was refunded and they are working on the other. The customer service is also amazing and respond quickly to emails.

It’s taken over 6 months and I still haven’t received my weights

UPDATE: Apparently under new management after a sale, the new team got this settled up quickly and painlessly.

Scam. Bought 2 sets of 45s in june, never got them, and reached out in august and they said they would come within 2 days. It’s December and over 7 emails sent later not a single one answered and still no weights or refund.

Placed an order for a pair of 45lb plates on July 12, 2022. Item never shipped. Support lied when contacted. Money was never refunded.

Absolutely horrible experience and customer service. I pre-ordered 2 pairs of 45 milled iron plates on July 12th. I understand that pre-orders can take a few weeks/months so I went into it knowing that I would be waiting a bit. Every month I emailed checking for an update, and was told that my order would be "delivered for certain" that month. After September ended, I have been repeatedly ignored via email and can't get in touch with anyone. I have tried to give them leniency, but after so many failed promises, I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone.

Good quality weights. Great service. Thank you to Michael M. He was patient and responsive. One of my plates was lost in the FedEx system, Michael then immediately sent out another one and it was aldo lost in the FedEx system . Both times where at the Fedex Bloomington hub. ( not standards fault).
Anyways Standard barbell didn't have any plates at the time, then when they did Michael sent one right away.

I still have not received my entire order! Plus I have no updates on delivery date or refund! I finally received my refund Jared was extremely helpful! I appreciate the fact that they did not forget about me but made everything right!

I was skeptical when I saw the price but I ordered 2 barbells and a few pairs of 10lb and 25lb plates. All packages were delivered within a week and all in great condition. I will definitely look to Barbell Standard when I’m ready to purchase some more.
