Please please any existing customers struggling to resolve issues reading this put a payment dispute in with whoever you made the payment with do not let it go over the deadline the only way you will get your money back don’t fall victim to these scammers. Absolutely shocking service with 0 customer service. Would recommend to AVOID at all costs. Do not keep you up to date on your order. Do not reply to emails. Requested a cancellation and refund but heard nothing. Left a comment on there social media only to be blocked 🚫. Turned phone lines off but website is still live to take orders. ££££ down with the only help of getting my money back is legal action. I don’t wish this nightmare on anyone. 23weeks from date of order only contact I have had in that time is an order confirmation. 😡 AVOID don’t get ripped off like many others

Still no replies to phone calls - i've been in touch with the bank and because it's over 120 days, i cannot go through the bank and "chargeback"....be careful of this guys if you run over 120 days. I'm speaking to Trading Standards and apparently the police could be involved but the re-payment needs to come from the BCUK end.

Total balls ache - feel ripped right off here.

Having to go through my bank for a refund now. No responses to multiple emails, no answer to multiple phone calls. What’s the difference between this experience and an actual scam? As far as I can tell, there’s virtually no difference.

It’s a very simple message, do not do business with this company.

Avoid at all costs , ordered new barrow in may , always an excuse when I pop in to the shop which luckily is not far , no replies from email or phone pickups , just about to cancel and get refund if possible or go through the bank ,
Seriously don’t deal with them you will regret it ,
Edited after going to the shop, it’s now empty and they have vanished , just been blocked by a director of the company so it leaves me to come to the conclusion it’s a scam and warn others to claim monies fast from banks

Seems to be a trend running here. Lied to on multiple occasions and promised that my conversion kit would be ready for my trip to France in June. Obviously never came to fruition. Like most ordered an age ago. The beginning of March in fact. I understand that everything is bespoke but come on. A bit of tubing bolted to an already assembled electric wheel with a few wires. Over 20 weeks. Phone lines never on and played the same message on repeat….. joke of a company. Act with causation if you’re even contemplating on submitting a fresh order!!

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with !
Takes months from date of order to delivery, you ask when delivery will be, can’t get a straight answer from them, that’s if they do answer. Then the 350w motor that came with my conversions was less than 150w, when I got in touch was told to send the batteries back, (which was over 2 months ago) & then the controller box, which I’m still waiting for them to send both back to me, or even let me know what the problem, if it’s been fixed. You email them, they don’t reply, you phone them, phone is switched off. I’m gutted now that I gave them my money. I would not recommend anyone to buy of this company, if I’d read the reviews before buying, I wouldn’t of !!

I ordered my conversion kit at The Big One show back in the beginning of march and I'm still waiting for it. I've emailed them several times the last 3 or 4 emails haven't been responded to, tried phoning them but the automated response says phone back between 10-4 Monday to Friday which was when I rang! Actually thought they might have gone bust. Pissed off is an understatement, it's alot of money to shell out and to not even have the common decency to answer their customers is disgusting!

i purchased this barrow conversion in aug 23 after waiting 3 months it finally arrived after putting it together and trying it out it was fine.
then because of il health i had to store it away for a while .
then when i decided to go fishing i checked it all over
to make sure it was ok i then charged the battries up
ready to go fishing upon getting to the fishery i got the barrow out of the car connected it all up loaded my fishing gear then tried to move the barrow all 3 lights on the but when i pressed the paddle down to move no movement at all.
today monday 5/8/24 i tried phoning all to no avail
ive also sent several emails as well no reply terrable
service if you can call it that

Ok, so struggling to get a satisfactory response from ukbc, since phoning to inform them that the 'top level' battery pack recieved, as part of the conversion kit I purchased in june/july 2023, and finally recieved in December 2023 (so after many months waiting), has corroding terminals, one of which has broken off rendering the
twin battery pack completely useless.
I emailed to them the issue, and a swift reply came back suggesting I call their technical support number (provided in their reply).
Called the number numerous times on varying days, each time answered by an automated voice message saying the number was closed and to try again between hours of 10 and 4 Monday to friday. I was already calling at these suggested times.
This is very poor customer service, and am finding it hard to recommend to anyone else to use them.
The kit is a lot of money, and you should expect it to be of much better quality, and a no quibble customer service.

Disgusting customer service, ordered my conversion in January knowing that there could be a three month waiting time, phoned them in June, voicemail saying they were shutting down their phone til the end of the month, it looks like they've shut it down permanently, emailed them beginning of July asking what year could I get my order, actually got a reply apologising and it'll be a couple of weeks, still nothing and no replies to my emails. Such a shame because the conversions are excellent. I'll give it another couple of weeks and then I'll be going over to their workshop. What makes it worse you can get the same conversion for less than half the price.

Took over 6 months to receive my power conversion kit after multiple emails, STILL not received a simple rear wheel conversion kit and that's now been 7 months. Trying to get refunded is as much a problem... AVOID!!!

Company run by an absolute chancer. Mitch Plowman was in the motorsports business and thought he could rebuild gearboxes. His performance at this company is a repeat of that time. Paid a lot of money for a gearbox and left me with one he had cracked and had glued together. So many excuses and very overdue delivery. AVOID!

Took over four months to deliver the product.

Once the product arrived the batteries are faulty.

I have emailed and tried to call on numerous occasions apparently their lines keep going down and BT keep coming back to fix but they never work.

Have given them my number but again no response absolutely shocking customer service.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A NIGHMARE AND DONT CARE ABPOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Dreadful service none existent customer service I’ve been waiting 4 months and no response to any calls or emails I’ve started a dispute with my bank to get a refund worst company I have ever dealt with avoid at all costs there are other companies that supply conversion kits extremely angry

Has anyone actually managed to get a email response or get a contact number that actually gets through to someone,

Got my conversion kit. Fantastic quality absolutely over the moon with it. Luggage is made well. Thick waterproof cover I’m sure will last many times longer than most company’s barrow covers.

Map4 conversion kit arrived and all I can say is it was definitely worth the wait,Massive thank you for a great piece of workmanship,and it goes like a rocket the torque is amazing,so keep up the good work and wish all of you a brilliant future.

Picked up some of their kit today and I can’t believe the quality of it and I must say the service of the team there as well. Well worth the short wait. They are a growing business with a solid order book making products that really do excel. If you want top of the range, British made products I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Absolute joke placed order told it would be 10 to 12 weeks 16 weeks later still no joy .emailed the company no joy .absolutely just scammers.

I’ve read the reviews had my barrow ordered since the start of the year and started to worry. But wanted to give my honest review of where I see the situation and the new barrow I have.

I originally saw them at there old unit before they came to the new larger premises. There had always been lead times of 4/6 weeks plus due to the demand of there barrows and kits. I understand there are some that have become frustrated with ether communication and or lead times, something I found my self feeling to.

BUT

I picked my barrow up today and it was a great experience, let alone the quality of the product … I had a power barrow previously from another known manufacturer and had to send it back due to damage and failure. I’ve just spun the barrow round the garden with the kids on and it knocks spots of it in terms of balance, finish, weight distribution and power. Lots of power !

Mitch is a great guy very relatable just has a lot of demand and I can honestly see why. Whilst the staff were sorting me out with my new barrow (sorry didn’t grab your name ! )Mitch was sitting there chatting with me still working through the hand assembled control units non stop.

All this week communication has been great with barrow conversations. I had hit the voicemail in the weeks previous but as it explained they where taking a break and playing catch up.

Honestly yes I experienced some of what the reviews on here have but only temporary whilst the phone lines were paused.

But sitting here the other end with product in hand was worth the wait, unfortunately it’s a catch 22 as a consumer I want things quickly I want updates, but seeing it from the other side I now understand why if all the time was spent answering calls and emails the leads times would be even longer. The barrow is no bulk buy drop ship item for the far east, it’s British built and assembled. Something I feel none of us are used to these days and the instant availability of items ordered to your door next day also plays a part in my own perception of how quickly I should obtain something I have paid for.

But it was and is all worth the wait from a great company that is producing good high end products worth the money.

I see it as a growing business and a victim of its own success and not meeting demand set by mine or our own expectations something I gather they are working towards re staff etc.

Hope this review helps those still waiting or not sure. This is my personal experience on the end to end from ordering and receiving the product.
