Absolute joke took away a half empty skip when i wasn’t in and without contacting me first

Well done Barton Skips.

They made it easy, they answered my calls promptly, they did what they said they’d do, their price was on the money. They helped me when I needed fast delivery.
I’ll be back and so should others.

Been using Barton skips for last 10 years on and off. Has two skips this month off them one 16yard no probs.. As moving house I have a 8 yard at new house. Driver didn't follow insturtion to leave on right side of drive he dropped it in middle... Then I phoned to ask to have it a few days later as it was only half filled (due to hot weather I lost two. Three days) not their fault. No answer so left message.with details to contract me. So next day thought they busy so I text their mobile number again to ask for a few more days.. Left details... They came today while I was working to pick up a half filled skip...£319.. Great just what we need... Would I use again. Or recommend probably Not

Had skip hired and just like the lady who said 'how do you measure what goes in' He came to collect began throwing things out and started swearing at our builder saying 'if you want a fF''''''''load I'll show you a load' I had to come outside as this was disgusting behavior. Would not recommend!!!!!!

Had no issues with this company, skip was delivered and collected on the days requested and had the best price out of all the other quotes in this area. Would use again for future projects.

I've never ordered a skip before so I needed some help and advice as to the best option for me and the lady I spoke to couldn't have been more unhelpful or disinterested if she tried. I just got directed to the website which states how many bin bags a skip can hold but when you have a mixture of stuff to get rid of, what sort of measurement is that? Went with another local company in the end who were brilliant.

Well what can be said, i enquired about a skip before 11am and it was delivered the same day! SO when the skip arrived, the driver, who was very experienced placed the skip in a very tight space. He then said to call the office when i had finished and they would arrange for collection. The office staff were very friendly and efficient. Cant complain about the price either. So happy i have found a reputable company that i will be using on my many projects in the coming year. Well done BARTON SKIPS, Thank you

Please be aware there terms and conditions state if THEY damage your property THEY will not be held responsible. Even if it's THEIR FAULT. Truly appalling and not mentioned when booking.

Driver damaged our fence when delivering the skip. The company then tried to escape liability claiming from their t&c that damage to a surface the skip is placed upon at the request of the hirer removes their liability!!! As if I’d actually request the driver drops the skip on the fence! These cowboys charged 240 quid for 24 hours, damage property and then sneakily look to evade liability for the errors of their staff. Avoid at all costs

Drive severely damaged when skip was collected. I was away at the time but the driver phoned me to say that one of the stabilizers was pressing down on the block paving and causing it to sink. I was prepared to accept a small amount of sunken block paving, as outlined to me by the driver, but this is an unreasonable amount of damage. It is not just minor damage to sunken block paving, which is all I was alerted to by the driver. Part of my drive was completely caved in together with damage to the edging kerb, foundations and concrete support smashed for a distance of 3 metres. The stabilizer must have done most of the damage part way up the drive but also one of the lorry's rear wheels must have been on the bottom corner of the drive as more block paving and kerb had been disturbed. The driver did not phone me again to tell me about the extent of the damage, I found it when I returned home 2 days later. When I complained to Barton Skips the lady answering pointed me to their terms and conditions which state that the Company do not accept responsibility for any damage caused whatsoever. She said that the skip must have been too heavy - not sure how I am supposed to know that!

Highly recommend the company. Staff are friendly and were able to answer any questions or concerns I had. I found there prices very reasonable compared to other companies and they were able to collect when requested.

A very helpful company for when I needed to get a skip, the lady talked me through all the options I could have in a polite and courteous manner, would highly recommend to anyone in need of a skip.

Excellent service especially at this crazy time we’re all dealing with the business must be extra busy than normal but still managed to offer top class service 👍

Great company, phone and ordered a skip And it came the same day. Then when I phoned for collection I was told there would be a wait for 2 days as they where fully booked (which was fine) then they turned up and grabbed it the next day as they had a calculation. Amazing good experience from start to finish.

I didn't even put an order through as the lady on the phone was so rude and abrupt. No customer service whatsoever!!! Not helpful at all! If you are novice like me in ordering a skip, I would definitely skip this company ...

What does it take for people to be kind and friendly when providing a service??? It really doesn't take that much surely.

Fantastic company.
Used a few times with my business, the staff are friendly and will do there best to help you.
The drivers are fun, I overloaded the skip (my fault I only paid for a 4yrd was just pushing my luck) and the driver just asked us to remove some, didn't make an issue out of it even offer to come back to collect another day.
Great family run business, will defo use again.

Very unfriendly service, impolite communication on the phone, most of the time none picks the phone. The skip is sitting blocking my drive space where my disable child needs 24 hour access. I kept asking my builder removal of it and builder has been begging them to come and collect. Every time, they have same answer..... We are fully booked, it has to be on Monday. and this has been happening since last 25 days. I have phone record to prove this malpractice.
