I opened the box, which took about two weeks longer to arrive than I was told, and the suit absolutely reeked of a heavy chemical smell. It smells so bad I don't even want to put it on.

I contacted them immediately and was ultimately told to have it dry cleaned. This is a brand new suit and I shouldn't have to clean it immediately, and I also have no idea what the chemical is on the suit.

I'll no longer do business with this company and have sought a chargeback from my bank. Don't allow these shady businesses to sell you a terrible product. Fight them and get your money back.

I ordered a suit on June 14 as a Father’s Day present from my bride. I gave the standard sizes and was specific about the pant length as I am 6’3” and very short waisted with long legs.

I am a funeral director so wearing suits is not a new thing to me.

They asked for measurements before producing the suit which I provided. These measurements did not include pant length, but I had already specified the length I needed, so I figured it was fine.
The suit arrived almost a month later (7/12) and fit everywhere except the length of the pants. They were almost an inch shorter than my normal suit pants.
I contacted BDTailormade by email. I received a response from Brady who stated that the pants length was adjusted “according to my height”. After explaining that I gave the specific pant length for a reason and they should not have just adjusted them based on my height without asking questions, He said the pants had a 4 centimeter hem that I could take apart with scissors.

I told him it was a one hour round trip to a place to get them altered, so it would cost me two trips and the cost of alteration.

I asked about getting another pair of pants done correctly.

Today I received a response stating that if I wanted to buy another full 3 piece suit, they would include the remade pants because shipping was “too expensive” for sending another pair of pants.

So I am forced to either pay gas and an alteration charge or buy another suit as my only options to be able to wear this suit.

I had been thinking of getting a suit from them for a while and was excited about this gift, but at this point I would recommend not doing business with them because they apparently won’t stand behind their product without trying to get you to purchase another suit.

Update: received another email from Brady stating

“This doesn't need to be dealt with. You can start by wearing it in this style.
Our British suppliers all require this style of trousers.
If you place another order in the future, we will produce a new pair of trousers made of this fabric for you free of charge. These two pairs along with your newly ordered set will be sent to you together.”

So again, wanting me to buy another suit before they will make this one right, and suggesting I wear this suit the way it is.

Just plain annoyed with this business. The custom suit is a mess. Buttonholes that are frayed, pants too long, and a jacket too short. Brady refuses to resolve the issues even though they claim 100% guaranteed or a full refund. Not true so buyer beware. It appears he has now blocked my email address.
