This was my first suit from Tweedmaker, and it certainly won’t be my last.
What really stood out was dealing with real people rather than the usual anonymous online process. Tonya and Ryan (the owners) were incredibly helpful throughout the order, and it’s clear they care about the experience their customers have.
Partway through the process, I realised I needed to adjust some measurements, and Tonya guided me through it quickly and clearly, which made everything straightforward.
When the suit arrived, I was genuinely impressed (so was my wife). The material feels high-quality and not scratchy (it's a wool blend), and the construction is excellent. Considering the price point, I honestly feel like I got far more than I expected.
A great experience from start to finish.

Fantastic made to measure suit. AWSOME quality and, if you follow their measuring instructions it will fit perfectly

They made sure my suit was properly fitted after I sent in some wrong measurements. The suit was great quality. It’s the nicest suit I own.

I cannot recommend tweed maker enough, I hope to buy more from them.

Ich habe am 21.11. zwei Anzüge bestellt und bezahlt. Leider konnte ich meine Maße nicht eingeben, da sie von den voreingestellten Möglichkeiten abweichen. Meine Nachfrage am selben Tag und weitere Versuche der Kontaktaufnahme am 26.11, am 01.12. und am 10.12. blieben leider erfolglos und OHNE jede Reaktion. Ich hoffe ich bekomme den Kaufbetrag zurück...

Ordered a custom-made tweed suit, after receiving it I would say that this does not live up to expectations. The fabric is of thin quality, and not comfortable. In addition, the shape of the trousers was uncomfortable to wear. When I described the problems I was offered a discount in store for further trade, which I did not accept, I want to at least have the suit sewn correctly. Then tweedmaker stopped responding… I feel cheated, stay away!

Ordered six Brown Check tweed suits for myself and my groomsmen. We are all very different sizes, and custom rentals are hard to justify when they cost nearly as much as a suit from Tweedmaker.

From start to finish, Ryan and Tonya were extremely helpful and communicative. We mostly communicated via email, but Ryan personally called me after I submitted the order to help verify my preferences and settle payment. The order took about 8 weeks to arrive after I submitted final measurements and payment. This was within the projected timeframe that the company gave me. The suit quality was great for the price, and each fit very well with the exception of one set of pants, which was a quick and cheap remedy with a local tailor. All in all, great quality suits at an attractive price point, great customer service. Many thanks to everyone at Tweedmaker!

As a side note to prospective customers: make sure you carefully read the at-home sizing instructions if you are providing measurements for a custom suit. Have another person take them if possible. Tonya is an expert in sizing recommendations, but it's up to you to take proper measurements. Orders can take a while to arrive (as stated, ours took about 8 weeks). Submit your order as early as possible to give you time to make alterations/exchanges if necessary

The website says it takes about 6-8 weeks between placing your order and it arriving, but I asked for mine to be expedited since I needed it for a wedding in a month. They got it to my door 3 weeks after I placed the order! With no extra charge to expedite! Incredible customer service all around.

The fit is perfect! I did get it custom tailored because they reached out after I placed my order to let me know that with my measurements (by belly is the same size as my chest) their off-the-rack suits wouldn't fit very well. They did give me 10% off the tailoring cost tho! All in, it was $448.30 for my three-piece suit (plus working cuff buttons) which they managed to get to me in 3 weeks! The tweed is nice, the lining is nice, the trousers fit perfectly... I would absolutely recommend Tweedmaker to anyone looking to get a tweed suit.

They didn't give me a tracking number, so I was a little worried about when it would arrive, but they got my suit to me with plenty of time!

The only odd thing is the orange buttons or extra charge for black buttons. Bit weird for that, but I like orange so...

Genuinely a perfect experience. Sent in measurements, they responded quickly with a couple of follow up questions to be more precise with the measurements and the suit arrived a couple of weeks earlier than I expected. Such good service. 10/10. The suit fit perfectly and I'm very pleased.

I purchased a green tweed suit with waist coat. The key to success is getting all the right measurements. Everything fit perfectly. I chose the suit for my daughter's wedding and never had so many compliments for a suit.

I ordered two three-piece tweed style suits. My initial impressions of the finished suits was reasonably favourable for the price. Please note that the material seems to be largely synthetic rather than true tweed. However , after light use and within quite a short time both suits have become baggy and rucked at the lapels with separation of the lining through apparently poor canvassing. I have contacted Tweedmaker, and after having been asked to send images at their request I have heard nothing further, which is disappointing.

I had been eying a tweed maker suit for sometime. I had a film premiere upcoming for a new documentary film and I wanted to look sharp. I pulled the trigger on the brown check tweed not knowing what to expect. By the next morning I heard from tweed maker with a very detailed breakdown on how to do sizing. After a few back and forth emails to make sure the measurements were correct all was good. I received my suit abut 6 weeks after order. When I got the suit I opened it and let hang on a hanger to get the wrinkles out. By the next day the wrinkles had released. I was so impressed with the fit I ordered a second suit. Very impressed.

Purchased a suit in November of 2024. Went with the full custom option. Tanya walked me through the entire process, even questioning measurements that I took at home that didn't seem right just to be sure my suit would fit as well as possible. They shipped in a surprisingly short amount of time, and I could not be happier with the suit. Highly recommend.

The fit, the quality, the quick turnaround...I can't say enough how great this company is. I've purchased 3 wool tweed suits and now I have ordered my first linen suit. I would definitely encourage anyone to pay the extra for the custom fit. It is definitely worth it. Everything about Tweedmaker is 5 stars. Their customer service girl, Tonya, will help you throughout the experience. Ryan is the first business owner who will actually reach out to make sure you are happy. I couldn't be happier.

Extremely happy with the suit, and just as happy with the care, attention, and service of the Tweedmaker team. Tonya was very responsive at every turn, and they even helped expedite my suit at no additional charge. Will definitely be working with them again.

I recently purchased a British Tweed suit from Tweedmaker in the Dark Grey Herringbone pattern. I was skeptical at first of buying a fully custom suit on line as the measurement process is completed by the buyer. The process was incredibly easy following the step-by-step instructions given by the shop owners. Once the measurements were submitted, a confirmation email was received with customer service resources if there were any questions or concerns. The suit arrived in a timely manner and was made from very high quality material. I was very impressed with how well the suit fit, and the timeless, classic overall look. The custom tailoring option was definitely worth the small add-on fee. The owners of the shop were very friendly and professional, and are there with you throughout the entire process. 10/10 would highly recommend!

This not Tweed! 55% wool and 45% polyester! I am deeply disapointed! Nowhere at tweedmaker's page it is decleared what it is made of! Tweed is wool, not polyester! I will return my purchase!
To all buyers: If you like tweed that is not pure wool, tweedmaker is ok! If you want real tweed, this is not acceptable at all!

very reluctant to purchase a custom suit once line for such a too good to be true price. but no longer! just ordered two more suits for everyday wear. Both Ryan and Tonya followed up on initial order clarifications and honored a special request for a speedier delivery. Highly recommend

The team at Tweemaker delivered me a very high quality product in the time frame which they initially quoted me. They were incredibly communicative and willing to listen to the things I wanted. Would definitely recommend and order from again!

I never write reviews but i have to one this one. The folks here are absolutely amazing. First their prompt response to my emails and super easy fitting instructions. Then, due to several issues on my end, I asked what I felt to be an unfair request of them and they met the challenge eagerly. My suit fit perfectly and very well made. I will definately be a repeat customer, likely sooner than later. Thank you Tonya for being a pleasure to work with!
