Hijacked paybyphone parking app in Blackpool. I was running late and it was hammering down with rain, and hit authorise in my credit card app. As hit authorise realised was not paybyphone I was authorising, but a company called befitter. They took the £1, but luckily credit card company has now blocked them and refunded the £1. They hopefully therefore won’t be able to take the weekly subscription other reviewers mention
Befitter... a company I don't know anything about is dinging my bank account for $30 a month. I can't figure out how to cancel this subscription.
I was conned while trying to download a parking app at hospital, I was stressed I was about to undergo surgery so tried to download the app , I then got referred to my bank and paid £1 all the time extremely stressed and thought it was part of the parking app , a week later I've had £39.99 taken out of my bank for my be fitter club . Not once did i have to put my email address or name for this , it was all neatly disguised in the parking app . I'm gutted I fell for it
This company scammed me when I was trying to pay an online parking ticket. I reported it to my bank a week later when I spotted a £39,99 payment that I didnt recognise. My bank credited my account cancelled my card and issued me with a new card. Unfortunately this was not the last as a week later I received a parking fine for £60. I’d call this a double whammy. I am in the process of disputing this with the parking company. Pls double check any on line parking tickets.
This business's page took over the parking page and tricked you into constantly signing up for £1 and £29.49! They ignore calls, emails, and cancellations, and they don't send confirmation emails. Additionally, it's nearly impossible to cancel because their page is difficult to discover. They finally picked up the phone, but they say they have canceled their contract with the customer support business they hired! However, I've also given the bank a call!
Be extremely cautious since this is a repulsive and dishonest firm that clearly has a terrible business that requires them to obtain money in a dishonest manner. I suggest Reaintell for their satisfactory work.
I had the same parking scam experience as the reviewers below. In short... Tried to pay parking online. They intercept and take £1. One week later they take £39.99. It's scandalous. They need to be shut down. If it happens to you contact the fraud department of your bank immediately. Also cancel the credit/debit card you used and get a new one.
This company's page hijacked the bus company page I was paying for a ticket and I inadvertently signed up to £1. I immediately cancelled the subscription on their site and received a confirmation page, but did not get the confirmation email. When I returned from holiday the £1 had been cancelled, but a new fee of £39.99 showed on my credit card statement. I reported this to my card company and they asked that I get them to cancel the amount. I contacted them and they offered a 50% refund, which I refused and then they offered a full refund which will take up to 10 days.
Be very careful if you see anything from this company as they are operating a morally dishonest entrapment scheme.
Scammers of the worst kind!
This companys page hijacked the parking page and trucks you into signing up to £1 followed by £39.99 repeatedly! They do not send confirmation emails, there cancellation is next to impossible as there page is hard to find they ignore emails, calls and cancellations! They eventually answered the phone but it’s a company they have employed for customer services and they claim they have cancelled it! But I’ve also called the bank!
It’s a disgusting dishonest company who evidently have such a bad company they need to get money dishonestly..be very careful!!!!
Download a walking app to earn coins and an ad popped up for Mybefitter prompting me to add card details. I presumed it was for the walking app.
Alerted to a small fee of £1 then another for £39.99 which appears to be linked to a phone number. I didn't receive any confirmation email that I had signed up for this service and couldn't log in to any account. I did find an email on Google and have asked that they cancel my subscription.
I have also disputed the payment with my bank who are now investigating!
Please be careful, these rats will try anything
Parking scam, paying for parking and unknowingly setup a subscription for mybetterfitclub, I have no idea how this happened!!! There was no notification, no confirmation email and it was only my bank questioning the transaction that alerted me. Unfortunately because it's a subscription scam and not outright fraud the bank can't cancel the subscription. They advised canceling with the company (which i did, no confirmation again) and said make notes of when and how, then if another transaction goes through to fill out a charge back form (link on most banks websites but not via their app) and they will request the money back. It is a drawn out process but with the law as it is it is the only way. Unfortunately it is seen as we gave our details out, even though we were not aware of where it was going. Even if I cancel my credit card and get it reissued (new number) Mastercard may still allow the subscription. For now I have my card on stop whilst I work out what to do.
Scam company, we are currently trying to get my daughters money back through the bank. She has no way of cancelling the free trial offered direct with the company & the trial didn't even work.
I have recently been scammed by this company whilst trying to pay for carparking. £1 then £39.99 week later.
Cheeky and Sneaky!!
These are scammers. They took over my screen when I tried to park my car without wanting this. I paid GBP1 to them whilst I thought I paid to the car park. Utterly rude company to do this. I raised a dispute with my bank about this and blocked any further payments to them. If I ever get my money back I will doubt as they do not respond to any requests
A Scam. CRIMINALS charge you a small amount, but they do it every a week.
And: I have NEVER heard of it or subscribet to this SCAM. THIEFS
