Hey everyone , I’ve just completed my first manicure and pedicure course with Bela beauty college. I’ve learnt things I never knew about even though I’ve been getting my nails done for 19 years. The videos are so simple yet teach you so much it’s great. Being a full time mum it’s an amazing college , being able to do it online and at your own pace makes it so much more helpful and easier to fit my lifestyle or anyone’s that is wanting to enroll into a beauty course. Highly recommend bela beauty college , can’t wait to start my next course doing acrylics

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely wish I had come across something like this before I enrolled. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else and, most importantly, I hope nobody else ends up in the position I found myself in a few months ago.

I enrolled in the advanced nail bundle course because I was excited to learn, improve my skills and invest in myself. As part of the course material I received, there was information stating that a kit was included, along with information about what would be provided in that kit. Based on the information I had been given, that was my understanding when I enrolled.

I was later told that I needed to go onto another payment plan in order to secure the kit.

I can only speak about my own experience, what I understood when I enrolled and what I was later told. For me, this was confusing and extremely upsetting, particularly because the information I had received had given me a different understanding of what was included.

Because of this, I tried to unenrol from the course. I was then told that because my enrolment was a “self-enrolment”, I was unable to cancel.

This is where the situation became incredibly stressful for me. I felt completely stuck and didn’t know what I was supposed to do or where I could turn. What had started as something I was genuinely excited about had turned into something that caused me a huge amount of stress, anxiety and uncertainty.

I ended up having to seek advice elsewhere to understand my rights and what options were available to me. I never expected that enrolling in an online nail course would mean I needed further advice simply to understand where I stood and what I could do next.

I also want to be honest about my experience with the course material. This is my personal opinion based on the material I was provided. I personally found the level of information provided to be quite straightforward and, for me, I didn’t feel the depth of the content was what I expected for the overall price of the course. I felt that free platforms such as TikTok and YouTube offered a much wider range of nail education and demonstrations, and personally, I found those platforms more useful for my learning. I understand that everyone will have different experiences and expectations, so I can only speak for myself and my experience with the course.

Thankfully, I’m now able to put the whole experience behind me and move forward. I’m incredibly relieved to finally be at that point, because the whole experience caused me far more stress and anxiety than I ever expected when I first enrolled.

If you are considering enrolling with Bela Beauty College, PLEASE read the Terms and Conditions first. FIND THEM. READ THEM. UNDERSTAND THEM.

I personally wish I had done this before enrolling.

Pay particular attention to anything relating to self-enrolment, cooling-off periods, cancellation, payment arrangements and exactly what is included with the course and payment option you are choosing.

Please take the time to understand what you are agreeing to before you sign up. If there is something you don’t understand, ask questions and get clarification before committing.

I’m not writing this review to tell anyone else what they should or shouldn’t do. I’m sharing what happened to me because I hope my experience can help someone else make an informed decision and avoid ending up where I was.

I would never want another person to experience the level of stress, anxiety and uncertainty that I went through over something that started with me simply wanting to learn a new skill.

I’m grateful that I can finally close the chapter on this experience and move forward.

Based on my own experience, I wouldn’t choose to enrol with Bela Beauty College again.

I genuinely hope my experience helps someone else, and I hope nobody else ends up where I was.

I have just completed my nail technician course with Bela Beauty College, it was the most exciting, enjoyable and rewarding course I have ever experienced. Everyone I have ever spoke with was so incredibly helpful and friendly. The entire course was so thorough and clear, I highly recommend doing your course through Bela Beauty College to start your career in the beauty industry.

Easy to follow instructions but should have instructions on a seperate page

Hello everyone I did makeup artistry course from Bella beauty college, and my experience is mind blowing. I learned alot from her easy and unique makeup looks. Specially I like her short videos of makeup application, base application, contouring and dramatic eyes.

Convenient and easy to learn, great tutors and friendly staff.

Ayesha was absolutely amazing. She was so wonderful in explaining things, she went above and beyond to work with me to be able to do the course.

I have posted my work in the support group and I haven’t heard anything back from my mentor nothing!!! I posted on Tuesday last week for feedback and NOTHING absolutely NOTHING.

Not fair!

I reached out to this college during a time of genuine financial hardship and asked for help or flexibility with my course. Instead of being supported, I was told there was nothing they could do and the matter was “closed.”

Very disappointing experience. I expected more understanding and care from a business that works with students.

They had beautiful customer service. Kind people, made me feel listened to, excited.

Honestly just from a call with James I’ve never been more motivated and excited to do this lash course! I’ve always been hesitant and thought you know what I’m doing this! Thank you James

I did the lash course and graduated. It was so easy to learn and the tutors were quick to respond and they worked the program around me and my personal life when needed. I loved studying with them and would highly recommend and even return if wanted to up skill in any other areas.

After not being in contact with Bela Beauty for quite some time, I made a call and it couldn't have gone better. So polite and helpful, explaining everything I needed to know fully and without any judgement. This has definitely made me want to continue with this college.
