This is a company to avoid at all costs.
I bought an artificial logburner, fitted and tested in new home in July.
Seemed fine then, just tried using properly now, January 26, as weather freezing.
Appliance faulty... making terrible noises. Found paperwork and receipt, called them very politely to ask for help, put through to customer services, call abruptly 'ended' 4 times???
I could hear another complaint being made in the background, and had to wait in long call queues as they were inundated with calls.
Lots of dissatisfied customers???
Eventually spoke to
'Hazel Co*k' in customer services.
Turns out I had misplaced half my paperwork, and only have a record of the delivery of fire surround.
The fire itself had been delivered by B and Q, which seems to be a convenient loophole...as I was not advised that if it is not delivered by Be Modern, and I cant produce written proof then its not covered by any guarantee.
Hazel Co*k took great pleasure telling me this...when I asked what their advice would be for me as I spent a lot of money with them, she smugly laughed at me and said that she could do nothing at all.
No customer service, no company pride, no humanity.
Unfeeling, unpleasant and unkind.
Extremely disappointing.
Product not fit for purpose.
I can only say that Hazel Co*k lives up to her name.
The fire will go to the dump and I will order a superior product from a superior company, who care to provide good products and care enough to cultivate customer satisfaction.
