I have a bad experience with Bench. I ordered some t-shirts and inner wear for a trip 5 days back. When I tracked the evri parcel # it says it is still with the sender. I choose free express delivery assuming it will be quick. But I see other posts quoting similar issues even for next day delivery. Bench delivery page is really misleading. I have asked them to cancel it in email (there is no phone number) and there is no response. I really have no idea who regulates the online sale? How can they run a business like this?

I ordered a winter jacket from bench on Sunday morning and paid extra for next day delivery because I needed the winter jacket for a hospital appointment and because im disabled and didn't have a winter jacket. How can a big company like bench mislead customers like this because once I selected the jacket and went to check out they had an option for next working day if purchased before 1pm and I purchased it at 10.53am Sunday morning and Monday is a working day. When I checked through the tracking number just now at evri they still haven't received the parcel so I emailed bench twice and received no response from them so I went on my banking app and done a dispute payment request and my bank refunded the money to me straight away. I have told bench that I want to cancel the order and told them that I will refuse delivery of this parcel so there is no point in sending it because as of 5 minutes ago on evri it says still with sender and we are expecting the parcel soon but it's been saying that since yesterday lunchtime yet 36 hours later evri still haven't received the parcel and I find it unbuisness like to treat customers in this way especially when they paid extra for next day delivery and I won't be buying anything else from them anymore because I can't trust them anymore. Order BN-45200 confirmed. You notice that bench doesn't respond to any of these reviews and it's like they just don't care because all they want is your money and they don't care if you are dissatisfied with what you have purchased which to me is just proof that they don't give two hoots

I recently purchased this jacket online. To be honest I was sceptical about the quality before it arrived. However, the quality is excellent and I am delighted with my purchase. A great jacket for winter use.

I had a mixed experience with Bench. The quality of their products is generally good, with quick delivery times too. However, I had issues with a second order being canceled due to being out of stock, and they didn't refund my postage, which I’m still chasing. Some products aren’t as practical as expected, like a jacket that wasn’t waterproof. I noticed the stitching quality could be improved, especially since I tend to buy only when items are on sale. Overall, Bench could do better with customer service and product detailing.

I bought a pair of women's Bench walking boots in the summer time and thought that they would be good for my wife for winter walking. They looked good and felt very comfortable and the fur around the top made them very cosy. They cost £40 and I felt that they would be a good addition to her winter wardrobe as they were described as being water repellant. She wore the boots for the first time yesterday on a wet and snowy day - within 10 minutes the inside of the boots were soaking , completely drenched and she was left walking in soaking wet boots and socks. The boots are going to take days to dry out. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement ! I am really annoyed and would advise people to avoid buying Bench walking boots as they are a complete waste of money !

I wouldn't buy from from Bench again. I'm not aware of any UK company that does not cover customs charges for their customers in Ireland, so it came as a shock when I had to pay additional fees to receive my hoodie. When I queried this with Bench they said "Customs charges are paid for by customers and not retailers.". This is simply not true and is a Bench policy only.

Made 2 orders first one was fine. Second order you canceled as none in stock. I paid postage for both orders but you only refunded the cost of the item and not the postage I paid postage for the second order. I'm still trying to get the postage refunded via PayPal. It's not the amount it's the principal

Ordered a size 12 hoodie …it came down to my knees and I haven’t shrunk !

Beautiful product, great value although we did buy in the sale! Quick delivery.

Thinking this would be in the slightest waterproof I was totally wrong. For a thick coat the smallest of drizzle comes straight through so this is uncomfortable to wear and a pretty pointless coat seems as it’s a large winter coat

Well made and fitted well

Disappointing. I ordered a pair of combat shorts from Bench, assuming they would come with flies, a top button and belt loops. However, they had an elasticated waist band. I made the assumption as none of the photos on their website showed the top of the shorts and none of their items have a description. When I emailed Bench about the issue, my email was ignored. And then one month later, when I emailed them to ask if their other style of combat shorts had flies, a top button and belt loops, this was also completely ignored.

The fact that all the items on their website don't have a description or photos showing the full item is just bizarre. And the fact they ignored both my emails is even more disappointing.

Hey Bench basically I bought loads of your guys clothing and there really comfy.

Bought for my 21year old grandson he loved it. Good quality, stylish, great for sport or chillin.

The size guide isn't accurate. I already have two pairs of the shorts, labelled size 36". On the website the sizes are S, M, L, XL. When checking the size guide L was advised to be 91.5-96.5cm. 36-37". Upon receipt of the shorts they did not fit. I am having to pay to return the shorts and reorder a larger size. Excellent shorts it has to be said, order larger than the guide advises.

Good quality and quick delivery

Debenhams are selling products that get fulfilled by third party marketplace traders, in this case Bench.

When I received my order, the enclosed document was from the concession seller Bench (not Debenhams).

Returned items via tracked postage to the address provided for the concession seller (Bench).

When I contacted Bench via its official email, they just replied with nameless messages from a different email address. The refund never reflected in my account.

Had to file a Paypal Dispute and I contacted Debenhams by email who then stepped-in to resolve it.

Just not worth the hassle buying things online anymore.
