Had an order delivered cost me £9. So I asked the how they work there charges out for delivery. And there response was.

Would be more appropriate to leave a fraction of a Star, or none at all.
Spent extra on postage as needed a Reel before the weekend for a trip.
The reel I received had a number of marks, a scratch by a pinion cover screw, and a small amount of paint missing the other side.
When i spoke to Benwick was told “They come from China, and this is the standard to expect for a £39.99 Reel”
When they received the reel none of the staff could see these faults.
On sharing images with the Reel manufacturer, they had agreed it was cosmetically damaged and a full refund should be given including postage both ways.
Benwick refused this, Paypal kindly covered the postage.
The service and attitude I received was nothing short of appalling, and staff were extremely rude on all occasions of contact.
Be extremely careful buying from Benwick as customer relations is non existent.

I've used this company a few times now, they always send your order in good time and carefully packaged. Unlike some shops they are always willing to answer the phone to help you with your order, which is appreciated. All in all a nice shop to do business with.

There is a guy I don’t know his name is so knowledgeable & seams to be based in the stock room & appears to know about every piece of equipment there is & knows exactly where it’s located. It’s really good to still be able get old fashioned service these days.. thank you guys..

Spent over £40 on pellets,next day realised one bag was 17, yes seventeen! months after best before date.Back to shop all pellets of that make checked all had same date. Was , after an argument given a refund , office worker started swearing and guess what product was put back on shelf...!!!!, laughable...

Great service
I wasn't able to get Hinders chinese hemp anywhere, but Benwick had some in stock. I ordered it on line and paid cheapest delivery charge. It arrived next day. It was very well packaged. I will certainly use this company again. Well done.
Verbal abuse towards customer
I was a long term customer with this company, and after I made a small order over a weekend, I rang to add a few more things to my order. A woman answered the phone and said no, too busy, and was offhand and rude to me (not the first time). I posted a comment on a fishing website asking if anyone else had similar issues. Looks like Adrian from Benwick Sports contacted the administrator and complained. Post removed and its deletion shrouded in mystery. Told to ring shop, which I did and only wanted a simple discussion. Was verbally abused by Adrian, shocking behaviour towards a customer, obviously can't take any negative feedback. Did not like a taste of his own medicine. No doubt any replies will be full of similar abuse. What happened to reasoned discussion and customer service?

Hoodies are superb but there Matrix lol . Ordered large for himself and small for me , can't wait to get fishing .

Unprofessional Customer service
i took up fishing again at the end of 2017 after a long break from the sport, since then i have spent thousands of pounds at Benwick Sports on numerous orders over the four years,they have a great variation of products second to none, however because i recently wanted to cancel a £50 odd pound order because they could'nt guarantee a midweek delivery, and I commented in order "comments "box this was required, i requested my order to be cancelled and I would seek alternative supplier that could deliver midweek,please remember I was a customer that has, as stated spend thousands of pounds over numerous orders over the four years, the reply I received from some guy called Adrian was "someones got out of bed the wrong way" totally uncalled for, totally unprofessional and very "brave being sarcastic behind a keyboard", I have since found out that my account has been cancelled because I politely (as me Email trail will show) requested to cancel my £50 odd pound order, regardless of the fact ive spent the volume of money over the years with them, some childish unprofessional business man has cancelled my account, I rang them up to request an explanation, again their staff were totally unhelpful.
After reading reviews on various sites, it is very apparent that they are very unprofessional, and childlike, if an issue is raised to them, be interesting to see what happens if someones account has been cancelled decides to go to the shop for a visit, I bet this Adrian guy wont be so sarcastic and patronizing then
