I really should read trustpilot before engaging companies like this.
Paid for 2 different tests from this company. TRT and Cortisol. Filled them out and mailed them back. 1 set of results showed up, the others didn’t. When I questioned the 2nd set, I was left a week without a response, and then told that they would need to retest me.
Is tested elsewhere in the meantime, as I couldn’t wait for this company to process a simply cortisol test, so I asked to cancel the test. They said they would be happy to cancel it but couldn’t offer a refund as per their policy.
This is not a good company to deal with. The tone of communications is rude and unhelpful, and when they don’t deliver, they accept no responsibility and still believe customers should pay for that failure.

From start to finish, one member of staff, Paul, made the experience feel extremely safe and efficient and had true kindness and empathy during the process. The nurse visited within the given time slot and results were delivered promptly . Paul updated us constantly and called us only minutes after we got the notification text to assure us all and ask if we had any further questions. A worthwhile service with much gratitude to Paul.

Scamming money grabber
I booked in for a specific screen that covered 6 tests, when I was booking on their website it showed the package and what it tests it covers. After making the booking at a local clinic the tests changed and didn’t cover what I originally intended. I found that they do not send the samples to their own laboratory and you’re basically paying a premium to book through them at whatever clinic you choose. I contacted their helpline and emailed them, having to wait a long time for a reply due to being in Australia and apparently they operate in the UK. I received a reply which they called me by a different name and said that this was what I booked and basically would have to pay another hefty price to carry out the test at another clinic. They are just a money grabbing 3rd party without any care for customer service

Scammers! Beware of Better2Know. I ordered the full STI testing. It took them 2(!) weeks do deliver results. When I was informed that test is ready they told me results are ‘inconclusive’ and I have to do it again and PAY again. They wasted my time, money and endangered my health and all that with 0 apology.

Better2Know STI Platinum Screen - NHS deem unreliable
I took a full STI Platinum Screen in support and alongside a vulnerable family member who also took the same screen.
There were 2 minor positives for the family member and 1 for myself (married in fidelity), nothing serious, run of the mill stuff. Gardnerella for me. I finish my tablet regime tomorrow. So does my wife. Full adherence.
The family member I mention has already endured clinical negligence from a female consultant in 2021 who over prescribed, under managed, and did not follow the guidelines as per the EMC PiL and SPC. I have worked for Roche so I understand Roaccutane (isotretinoin) very well and the risks therein.
3 years of cosmetic surgery due to negligence and non management. Horrific for this poor person. Paradoxical flare. The worst that the new consultant Paul Farrell at the Montefiore had seen in his 15 year career. Negligence. Still considering litigation and I have significant form since I won a NHS negligence case against Haywards Heath Princess Royal Hospital maternity ward (regarding another family member) for not diagnosing a breech birth 3 days before labour. 23 counts of negligence in the NHS untoward report - public domain. Symphysiotomy (the Registar had only ever done this on a rubber dummy and cut my wife's urethra and bladder in half) and a dead baby brought back to life after 17 minutes hypoxia death and 11 de-fibs. Brain damaged. Toby Trial by Oxford University. Instant. 8 years of waiting to get the family member signed off as not brain damaged. On record. A Registrar who when the ward consultant had gone home at 2pm in his shift ending 8pm saw the opportunity to con myself and my wife under significant duress into signing a form for a Caesarean which in fact was a form for agreeing to breech birth. He needed to do a breech birth to make consultant which he had been previously refused. The ward senior midwife visited my wife in ICU and confessed it all, breaking down as she confessed.
Now after 3 years of agony for my Roaccutane abused family member he takes a full Platinum screen from Better2Know.
He has two minor positives so he takes his result to the local GP. The GP does not ring Better2Know or TDL (the doctors laboratory in London) but remarks that, he the GP, does not trust Better2Know screens despite their absolute guarantee and we posted our screens fully completed on Monday 23rd December 2025.
So who is right? Is Better2Know fake or is the GP fake?
This is a YES/NO question. Very simple.
I apologise for this awful news and I will get to the bottom of it via the ABPI, BMA, GMC, EMEA, the DoH and a civil court hearing which I expect my barrister to move to the High Court very quickly.
I am sending this review to Sky News and BBC News. This is a class action. All of you 1000's of Better2Know patients may now consider your screens invalid since this NHS GP has judged them unreliable. You are all entitled to compensation and God save the people you to which you may have transmitted STD's, if this NHS GP is correct and Better2Know screens are unreliable.
God save the 1000's of men (and women and fluid and whatever) who have relied on Better2Know HIV tests assuming safety until this NHS GP says Better2Know are unreliable.
I write this with deep sadness. I have personally used Better2Know for over a decade.
How do you feel as a gay man going out on a date with a Better2Know screen that says you are HIV negative yet here is a GP saying do not trust Better2Know screens.
How many 1000's of people does that impact?
How dare the NHS and Better2Know allow this to happen?

Was sent to a clinic where the receptionist didn’t even have any idea of Better2know. When samples eventually taken, multiple unsolicited phone calls from Better2Know and the clinic itself giving the impression they had mislaid the samples! When I contacted Better2Know to complain, no attempt at all from Louise Wright the manager to address at all.

The gentleman Shafick, was excellent. Caring and kind. I initially booked an appointment at a later time but could no longer make that appointment. When I called in to reschedule Shafick assisted me in less than 5 minutes with a new appointment. Great customer service would recommend B2K for fast and reliable service.

Scammed. Misled. Would give a zero if possible
Their website says they do a 10min rapid test. The site says £145. You have to phone up if you want it that day. They make you pay over the phone, then after they take the money say it is non-refundable and not a rapid test but you'll get results by 9am the next day guaranteed. Also if you want a rapid test it is £185 but this isn't mentioned on the website. You go to the clinic and they do a different test to the one you clicked on the website and asked for and they tell you it will take over 5 working days for results. The test is different to the one you ordered,they have your name and date of birth wrong and you have the test and have to discuss very personal details in the same room as other patients.
You phone up and they say they can't help, you have to email Louise Wright. You do. You speak to the manager the next day who says their website is not misleading and they don't know why someone would promise results by 9am the next day and you can't get a full refund due to admin fees. They say they don't record their calls due to privacy so 'you don't have any evidence to back up your claim that the worker said this' so there is nothing you can do about it. They are completely unsympathetic and unwilling to help. You don't get email Confirmation or anything. They say they can't tell you how much of a refund you might get and pressure you to just accept the the test results will be a week later. For £145. They say the blood rapid test is actually £195 even though it is not quoted as that price on their website and try and make you pay an extra £50 to get it. It also doesn't actually test if you have the condition, just if you have symptoms of it, which is not stated. When you say the website didn't show any of these prices and how it was misleading and you offer to send screenshots they refuse to look at them and just say they know how the website works.
You phone later to get a refund but the manager isn't there and no one else can help. You raise complaints but the agents never raise them, just say they will. You phone each day and email and say you are disabled. Each time it has to be the manager you have to talk to and she is busy. Eventually you get a response to your email saying they are sorry you feel misled, but you weren't and there will be no refund or help and it will not be possible to challenge or escalate this. You reply quoting their terms and conditions where it says you could get a refund and they are meant to have emailed you etc. You get a reply saying they can send it to managers.
Eventually they agree to a refund but no compensation, no apology or awareness that they need to fix this so it doesn't happen to anyone else. They are not transparent, no complaints policy or accountability. They are essentially scamming you by misleading you and hav no way of being held accountable.

Do not book anything with this crowd of theives. The clinic was basically a building site. I eventually gave my sample which prior to booking I was told I would receive after 2 working days. 6 days later no results and what I needed them for has come and gone. I asked to speak to a manager and Sophie rang me. She is an absolute liar. Basically told me that somehow 6 days equals 1 day due to a Saturday and a Sunday. Gave sample Early Thursday no results as of the following Wednesday but was informed this was less than 2 days. Complete robbers refuse to refund me or explain how 6 days equals less than 2. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING GOT TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Please I earge you not to book an appointment with them as I lost all my money. Asked for a reschedule they just kept in saying no. The customer service is absolutely rude!
