Wish I had read reviews before ordering.

Placed order 1 Dec to arrive plenty of time for Xmas. Chased 11 Dec to be told only just received stock for one item, other item still not held in stock (website did not indicate not in stock - otherwise would have bought elsewhere!!!).

Beut had not bothered to get in touch with me to advise they are still waiting for stock etc.

Offered alternative product to the one we are waiting for - accepted and agreed with Beut on 12 Dec and advised it will be shipped. Got email notification it was actually shipped on the 14 Dec.

18 Dec chased again as still not received to be told the item has not actually shipped despite getting an email to say it had shipped.

Response on 19 Dec was it was being shipped (again!) on the 19 Dec and tracking number provided.

Checked tracking today (20 Dec) to get idea of expected delivery date. Courier advises they have not got the item and it remains sat at Beut!!!!

Another false promise.......

A further chaser to Beut customer support today, 20 Dec to see what on earth is going on.

Terrible customer service, terrible experience. Doubt this will arrive in time for Xmas - bearing in mind was ordered originally on the 1 Dec - you would think that is plenty of time.

Regret buying from this company - will never shop with them again

We always do our best to advertise lead times on our site as clearly as possible. This particular supplier is on a lead time of 2-3 weeks when items are out of our immediate stock. Unfortunately, as you mentioned the second item of your order did not arrive on the shipment, in which we offered some alternatives.

This was booked out with our supplier for collection once confirmed by yourself. Unfortunately, due to the busy period we have experienced a couple of missed collections. Despite chasing them, unfortunately this is out of our control, although in future we will take your feedback seriously and ensure that affected parties are kept updated in due course.

I have just checked your tracking and I can see that this is now in the delivery depot with the courier. This will reach you by Christmas.

Bought a lamp that came with an EU plug and no UK adapter. No mention that this was the case on the website. How can you sell lamps that can't be used in the UK without mentioning it?

Unresponsive when trying to get a free return and refund for being mislead.

Terrible company, please avoid.

Placed an order 2 months ago. Have not heard from the company despite several emails to customer services as well as the several attempts to get in touch via the phone number provided on the website. Left several voicemails but no one ever got back to me.

Our customer service representative apologised for missing your call when she called you back. We are a small family business with a very busy phone line of enquiries. We do try our best to get back to everyone as soon as we can.

A voicemail was also left by yourself to say that the email was bouncing back. Please can I check that the email customerservices@beut.co.uk was used? Again, we aim to respond to all email enquiries within 24 hours.

It was confirmed that your order had arrived with ourselves and this was being shipped today. You should have also now received some tracking.

Of course, any issues with the tracking or delivery itself, we will be happy to help as always.

Excellent service all the way!

Excellent service all the way! Great product range and easy to order online. Prompt reply to my query about expected delivery of wallpaper (an impatient decorator was waiting) Turned up exactly as promised and BEUT offered the most competitive pricing/delivery option too. Returns policy is great and I was fully supported in returning unused rolls. I would highly recommend them and will definitely look here first for any future projects.

No reply from any Customer Service. No help whatsoever

I've ordered a number of expensive chairs over a month ago after being assured of fast delivery. I've tried contacting via email and telephone but can never get a reply. Upset and angry, will actively deter anyone from purchasing! Just want a reply!

Unfortunately there has been no email received by customer services regarding an order of multiple chairs from your name, unless of course this email has come from a different name and that is what you are referring to.

We aim to respond to all email and telephone enquiries within 24 hours if not shorter. We are a small family business so try to get back to everyone as quick as we possibly can. All emails from the past 24 hours have also now been replied to.

Bad experience! No response to complaint.

I purchased a Tom Dixon candle in which the container is damaged/imperfect from the Beut.co.uk store, I contacted support by email numerous times, they ignored my complaint and I still have no response. I honestly don't think I'll have an answer for a new product to be sent to me in perfect condition.
I find it a tremendous lack of professionalism. I do not recommend.

Avoid buying expensive item

I bought 3 Kartell stools in early August. When the stools arrived, I found that stools were just inside paper box without any protection. All protection material like plastic bag and foam were at the bottom of the box, not protecting the chair at all. Don't know the purpose of putting there. At the same time, the courier may cause damages to the paper box, the chair arms were exposed and resulted with scratches. I would say that there was serious problem in their warehouse in packing the chairs, just can't be put inside a paper box without any protection at all. I will not buy from this company again. They do offer me replacements but I don't take it as next one may not be better than this one based on their warehouse practice. For me, just avoid this company in future.

Scam !!

Ordered and paid for wallpaper beginning of August, as yet had no delivery, tried phoning, emailing and contacting Beut through social media and had no reply. This company is a scam taking peoples money. I am reporting to trading standards!

Terrible customer service if item is faulty

I purchased a very expensive lamp which was making a noise when I first switched it on but then it stopped working completely

I requested an exchange as the item is obviously faulty however the customer service I have since received has been appalling!

I was asked to send a video (of a lamp that doesn’t work??) which I did, but was then informed that they would have to contact the supplier to establish what the fault was.
I was then questioned on what bulb I was using then finally after emails back and forth for 3 weeks informed that the supplier would be sending a replacement bulb as the issue is the wrong bulb being used even though I am using the recommended bulb on the website and it initially worked albeit with noisy electrics
All I wanted was a simple exchange for an item not fit for purpose!!
Still unresolved….

If a customer receives a faulty product, we will always relay to the supplier of who's product it is. This is so the manufacturer and the supplier can investigate further and advise the best possible next steps and how to resolve. Even if a product does not work, we will always request photographic/video evidence to raise a claim with a supplier. This is a crucial part of the claims process and cannot be avoided.

This will be resolved and we will continue to work with you to get this resolved.

The supplier has kindly sent out a replacement bulb, one that they use and have tested. This way they can identify further whether it just is as simple as the bulb or indeed the lamp itself, in which case your case will be escalated further.

We always strive to keep our customers updated and will continue to do so going forward.

Great products at a great price & great customer service

We have been really happy with Beaut. We have placed two orders with them and bought some beautiful furniture at a very competitive price. All has arrived undamaged and we are really happy with it. Dixie has responded really promptly to all our questions and they have been very helpful in pushing through delivery a little earlier than expected for one of our orders. All wait times have been in line with what was indicated when we placed the original order. Great company who have been very helpful & stock beautiful products. Thank you Beaut!

Excellent customer services. Ordered a mural and very happy with the efficiency of receiving order. There was a slight issue with not having enough wallpaper but Dixie Resolved this efficiently and now have received the remaining panel. Thank you.

I would not recommend this company

The drivel which beut have have posted in response is what is to be expected and does not really address the points of errors in their performance and is purposely disingenuous. My opinion stands that I would not recommend this company. They make mistakes and act like they are doing you a favour when they put it right after trying to place the blame on their customers. They made an error in the colour scheme of my mural. They would only explain what had happened after i insisted repeatedly, then they finally told me the error lay at a factory fault and that they do not check their suppliers’ products before onward transportation! They still tried to lay the blame at my door stating I did not report the error within 5 days (nothing of the kind is explained on their terms, in fact there is no time limit set which I’m sure they’ve rectified or will do so ). They accepted and understood that I did check the description on receipt and also understood why I did not fully unroll the mural as I had building works. Which meant the error was not discovered until the day of installation. I now have additional expenses for a rescheduled installation and they insist it is their ‘policy’ not to reimburse these, which I do understand but neither were they willing to consider any gesture for the massive inconvenience and distribution to my works. Instead I was reminded the mural I received already had a 15% discount applied. So be beware if you get a discount from this company they will use it as an excuse for terrible customer service where they place the blame for their errors at the customer’s door.

As explained within our terms and conditions (https://www.beut.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/) it is stated that “Delays, lost parcels can occur. Under no circumstances will beut pay for cost of tradespeople due to delay or any other reason.
Equally, we suggest you check all items pre-booking in the decorator for the faults (which are very rare). If you are happy to keep a wallpaper unroll it to check, there is no printing issues prior to hanging. Also make sure your decorator is satisfied.”
Across the market, no one will cover costs of trades people, which is why we state this clearly within our T’s and C’s.
Despite our terms and conditions as the paper was printed incorrectly by our suppliers it was agreed that a replacement would be sent out to you.
It was unfortunate that at this time, due to no fault of our own, our suppliers printer for this wallpaper was down. Both beut and our suppliers did all that we could to get the replacement delivered as quickly as possible. When it arrived, this was shipped on a next day upgraded service by ourselves.
Beut covered costs for express shipment from the suppliers and a next day upgraded delivery service with our couriers. We also never charged for any extra design fee which can occur with this particular design. Considering the same design had to be reprinted, this is not something that is easily done. Colours and scale can be subject to change slightly when reprinting. This is difficult to do and a lot of time and effort goes into this by the design team to ensure that reprints are correct.
As you mentioned you did ask for the 15% off first voucher discount to be applied, however after our customer services representative looked into your order they could see that this had already been applied so was not able to offer this.
We offer this discount to our customers at the time of first purchase on non-sale items as a gesture, it is definitely not used as an excuse when things unfortunately do go wrong.
On behalf of the company, we are sorry that this is the way you feel, however this response is reflective of beut’s actions in response to you order.

Pleasant and polite

Had an issue with delivery (no fault of beut). And when raised with Dixie Greenslade, she dealt with my call with efficiency, was very kind and professional and managed to sort the problem out speedily! Her communication was clear and she was understanding and overall was so refreshing. It confirmed that I will definitely use their services again. Thank you!

If I could give minus 3 stars I would

If I could give minus 3 stars I would. I ordered a lamp at the beginning of January. 2-3 week delivery time. After 4 weeks I started to worry and tried to get in touch. No one ever picks up the phone and after several emails I got a reply. The colour I ordered wasn't produced anymore.... Would I like another? I reluctantly agreed to that and wondered really how long they would have taken to tell me this had I not got in touch myself. They said it could be shipped immediately as that was in stock. 3 weeks later I'm still waiting. I got an email last week it had now arrived at headquarters and I would get it in a few days. Another week later and no news. Seriously? It's now nearly 2 months and I still haven't got anything.
If you're after no customer service at all and waiting forever for a new item for your home, then go ahead and order from Beut. I surely won't EVER AGAIN, what a pain this has been.
