The first picture should be the actual item not something similar. I have been bit too many times and will no longer risk my money for what possibly could be trash.

Hit or miss...

I have bought multiple items and it is hit or miss. You never know what you are getting no matter what the description says. I have bought a couple items that state as is and were brand new. I have also bought items as is and good condition and it was absolute trash. They get you because they only take a pic of the box opened not really showing you the product then put like 5 of the stock photos tricking people. This in itself is a scam. I recently bought a surface cleaner for a pressure washer and it was completely busted apart with zero chance of being fixed. I paid to throw something away for them. I would say my wins are more than my losses but I would just make sure you are looking at available pics and make sure you read the ad completely. If you buy as is just expect it to be broken or something missing. I wouldn't bid to high on those products but you could get something brand new like I have. It is very hit or miss. They definitely scam you with not posting good pics or telling you, but again I have gotten some expensive things for my business that were new and saved me well over $1000. So it can be good just make sure you pay attention and don't bid high on as is items unless it states what is wrong or has a good pic. They don't offer refunds. These are some of my items so I am definitely winning. Just have to go in it as it is what it is.

Bidfta is doing a bait and switch, poor Mgt

The listing was “good condition “ it was a 22” suitcase”. When I picked it up it had one wheel missing and one wheel broken. The mgr stated “that’s hardware and allowable”. They would not refund the product. When a product is not functional, is more more than missing hardware. Bidfta has declined significantly. If you’re bidding, on bid on like new/new condition only.

Buyer Beware

If it's not marked as new/like new you have no means to get a refund. If you got a blender, you might get 2 blades and a worn out 9 volt battery, your bad luck. Their new policy of allowing customers to preview items, gives others a chance to open the packages and go through the contents. Maybe this is why 90% of the things I have bought recently have things missing.

PLEASE BEWARE!!! DECEITFUL

Definitely was tricked!!!! WHAT THEY ADVERTISE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET. I WON A PALLET THAT WAS NOTHING LIKE THE ADVERTISED PALLET. THERE WAS NOTHING BUT TRASH ON IT. LITERALLY ALL TRASH!!!!! PLEASE BEWARE WHEN BIDDING!!!! THEY ARE NOT HONEST. I ASKED FOR A REFUND FOR MOVING THEIR TRASH AND TOLD ME UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE NO RETURNS. EVERYONE BE WISE WHEN BIDDING ON PALLETS, ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. THIS WAS SPRINGDALE LOCATION. (I have picture that I can upload if I’m able too) NEVER AGAIN. WHAT A JOKE!!!

I worked for bidfta

I worked for bidfta, and I was terminated for job abandoning after informing the manager that I had unmitigated circumstances that kept me from coming to work. She was very biased in how she treated her people (Latinos) compared to employees that were not. Daily i went above and beyond my title and worked relentlessly to change the perception of the company.

COMPLETE SCAM!! STAY AWAY!!

There are 4 deceptive practices in their business model. I have experienced them all, and will list them all:
1) Condition: They will list something as "New" and then it has a different box and opened, and in some cases slightly damaged. Not affecting the functionality, but DEFINITELY NOT NEW. This ties into the second issue.
2) Pricing: They will list an item for the MSRP. All of the merchandise listed are Amazon returns. Let's say 4 sellers on Amazon has a listing for $32 and one has it for $50. They will claim the MSRP is $50.
3) Bidding: Let's assume the MSRP is actually correct. The bidding fees are structured so that even if you get something 50% off MSRP. When you attach their fees and sales tax, in my case it is 6,75%. That adds up to 31.75% of the total price. So, the Amazon return you purchased at 50% off is actually now 82% the cost of something brand new, with no warranty. In reality, your 50% savings turned into 18% savings.
4) The multipliers on items. If you're new to the site, they will place multipliers on items you bid on. So you can only intend to be bidding a few dollars. With the multipliers, that can become hundreds. You are bidding on multiple lots, and don't realize it. This is intentional.
This auction is a glorified garage sale. They do not give refunds, even if you show the item doesn't function. Instead they give you "credits". Once your money is in their "hand" it never returns. Customer service is horrible! This company is predatory. Stay away!!

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE. Bidfta is being deceitful when listing items as "BRAND NEW." They are doing this to increase bids. You think you're bidding on a Brand new item, so you bid more, but you get home & parts are missing. They refuse to refund or provide a replacement or credit. My item should have been classified "AS IS." THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

I have a ton of negative experiences

I have a ton of negative experiences. The latest was purchasing a lot of car parts only to find out they were all core charge returns. Non working used parts sold as new. The warehouse is basically no room and no place to go thru 100 items to inspect before leaving the premise. In order to get a refund I would have to do this. I bought a whole house filter system as new only to find out it was used and no good. Many broken items sold as new (25 garden Hoses) with FAULTY WRITTEN ON EVERY BOX. I had 1 worker called me foul words only because she misunderstood my dilemma and somehow did not want to hear it. Her manager at amelia location was even more unprofessional and using foul language. I complained to corporate. Nothing happened. They still work there today

7 out of 10 purchases MISSING

I purchased 10 items from the LaVergne TN location. My wife attempted to pick up the items today and found 7 of the 10 items were not there. The other 3 items are still in the car and I'm willing to bet that at least one item has an issue. The checkout attendant refused to deal with the matter and stated that my wife would have to return tomorrow to remedy the situation. She works and I'm disabled, so without advance notice, no one can be there at BIDFTA's convenience. Every single time I've purchased from this firm, there has been an issue with the items. If this matter has not been resolved by tomorrow, I WILL be contacting the BBB and disputing the charges with my credit card company.

Unethical changes lately

Bidfta used to be a really wonderful bidding platform for overstock and potentially damaged items. I've spent a lot of money on BidFTA happily and have always been a careful customer that would check my items properly at checkout and make sure they matched the expectation marked online. I recognize the gamble on items that may be marked "as-is" and have really enjoyed it until recently. I feel an underhanded policy was enacted that I've been charged hundreds of dollars for. There is a new system with a price multiplier that was not well explained. I won an auction for a small handful of pokemon cards I knew at a glance were not valuable cards but good to give to kids. My bids showed as $2 and $5 for the separate lots. When I looked at my receipt later I was charged almost $400 dollars because there was actually a multiplier PER CARD on the price that was well hidden in the description. I've never seen an auction like this on BidFTA before and it seemed set up like a trap. I know Pokemon is very popular right now, but these are what folks consider "bulk cards" and worth about what I thought I was paying for them as a lot at $2-5. I'm so disappointed in the way this was set up because it seems like a very intentional grab at trying to catch someone unsuspecting. Customer service simply states I messed up. I would love to simply return these. The charge is enough to have been crippling to our finances and extremely upsetting.

Brand new has different meaning for bidfta

My mistake I did not open packages and put together right away but bought as house warming gift so just giving now
it was a Brand New ?? grass trimmer
what a mistake- should have known packag had packing tape holding it together
opened it up and screw was missing and grass clippings were preston the shield. clearly it was a used item. no way to check to see if it worked as it is run by battery so didn't open at warehouse. turns out bidfta does not check items they placed a sticker saying it was brand new and sold under false pretense

Do not trest BidFAT

They sell items that they claim are in good condition, but they are unusable. When you call them to report the problem, they don't respond.
I bought a pressure washer from them suppose to be in a good condition but it was leaking water from inside the machine and it doesn't work.
I went to their website to report the problem and filled out the item issue form required form more than once. It has been over a week since I received anything from them other than an email informing me that someone will contact me. However, no one has contacted me yet. They are selling junk items and not responsible for what they sell.

TOTAL RIP OFF!!!...bid on an automatic water hose in good condition but pictured as like new with box unopened...it was old, dirty, and full of water coming out the box... Should have been advertised As-Is but the b!tch still would not refund my money... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Bid on two storage sheds at Edwin C…

Bid on two storage sheds at Edwin C Moses. Both times I arrived and the item was not there. Employee said "stuff disappears all the time here" so I turn my search to FB and find an identical listing to the 2nd shed, photos and all. I for some reason bid on and won a third shed listed as "Brand New". The listing had no photos there than the manufacturers info copy and pasted. When my receipt for the item arrived the listing suddenly has "incomplete item" added to the description with two new photos of the 1 box. They will not refund and basically I am out $1K for half a shed. I've purchased a number of items from other locations with no issues, this location is shady as it gets ALWAYS, someone with similar issues as mine at the checkout area.

Avoid them, you will save yourself aggravation.

I purchased about ten items from them over a two month period. Eight of the items were as described. We all like getting a good deal. They were all brand new condition. I then bought two oak chairs brand new. I get the home and the chairs are mid century modern, not oak Fortunately, my wife liked them so no harm no foul. The original box for the oak chairs contained the wrong chairs, thus an employee or someone along the line switched out the chairs. Now the last straw. I recently won an auction for a galano avaro nightstand. I get it home and not only is it the wrong item and damaged, but there are zero instructions on how to assemble what I brought home. I contact the company and Landis tells me I should have checked my item, unboxed the item, to inspect to make sure I received what I purchased before I left the disgusting warehouse. There are like 25 pieces jammed into this box that was obviously opened and re taped. So, I’m out $49 so not the end of the world but remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

When winning a pallet auction the MSRP…

When winning a pallet auction the MSRP was way off on the items I received, and you are basically buying a large box of trash. I bought 9 pallets for a total of $1300 after fees and only one I could Sell. they were so bad I wished they hadn't seen some of my pallets because I would have just left them. Let my mistake help you for the future. I won't do that again.

Policies do not match what is stated on website

I picked up 3 items at the Edwin C Moses location earlier today. These were listed as "Brand New". The employee that checked me out informed this was a new policy, and that refunds would be given only if the item listed was the wrong item. I specifically asked about "what if a brand new item was missing parts or incorrectly graded", he told me I would had to contact customer support. Guess what, two items were missing critical parts, and one was definitely used. Customer support tells me the policy is the same it has always been. It seems like this location has its own policies, which can change at any time, even after you pay for your items.
