I used to use this app all week all the…

I used to use this app all week all the time. I loved the way it tracked our walk and earned us biscuits to purchase rewards. Since the so called upgrade on the 1st July it's awful. The rewards offered are good if you like specific takeaways and enjoy drinking in cafes, unfortunately we don't!! It's complicated and not worth paying to level up to biscuit plus !! We're very disappointed, I always recommended this to my doggy walking friends, not any more !! It's the age old saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it". Very disappointed, we loved the original version.

Was great, 'upgrade' at short notice makes it worthless now

Biscuit was great for rewards, yes it took a while to get a voucher but it could be used in lots of great shops. Now with 2 days notice no more vouchers... Just a taste card (which you can get in plenty of other places already for free) or independent coffee discount and there's none I use anywhere near me. Luckily I had it free with waggel but I certainly wouldn't pay for it. No longer worth the hassle of logging walks as no rewards I would use, so deleted the app and will use tractive to track now. Shame biscuit let us all down with their 'improvement'

Useless App since 1st July 2026

What a waste of time! I only recently started using biscuits again after I was so disappointed with them back in May 2025 when they brought out a subscription led scheme and reduced points from 25 to 5!
I was literally 200 reward points off getting a £10 voucher but had to settle for £5 instead! No notice of this useless update.
What use is 25% off coffee and meals out - were in a cost of living crisis at the moment and you think people are going to be going to the hassle of tracking dog walks, draining there batteries and answering pet care questions for that! You can get discounts through other channels which are far easier!
I have just deleted my account for once and for all, I dont want you having my data or my pets microchip details etc. Either.
Knew it was too good to be true when I joined late in 2024.
You have collected peoples data which no doubt probably got sold on??

RIP Biscuit

I have been with Biscuit for years and took out the plus option for £3.99 per month even though it greatly reduced the overall value for money (took twice as long to save for a voucher but still was marginally worth it). After the sudden announcement on 1/7 I will be cancelling and deleting the app once it gets to the end of July (already cancelled the plus payment) along with many others by the sound of it as its not worth the battery drainage alone to just enter a competition as my dog is one of the most active of his breed (usually 3 times the average breed walk) therefore the app is on for a long time
It was good while it lasted

Not worth using since 1st July changes

The recent changes to the reward scheme do not make the App worth using anymore. Also only 2 days notice via email that these changes were been implemented is not great either. I already have tastecard so to me that is not a benefit. Very dissatisfied

I would give it no stars if I could

I would give it no stars if I could. Unfortunately there is no point in having an account anymore as the rewards are now non existent since the July "upgrade". There was little warning about this, which is so disappointing. I only got a £4 voucher but was close to javing £10 asda voucher but my points were wiped. I have now deleated my account. Unfortunatly biscuit are not interested in feedback so I would encourage others to leave and join the biscuit user experiance group on Facebook.

Previously great app now devalued and worthless rewards

Was a great app with rewards that were wide ranging and very real. Recently had an overhaul presumably to save money and mainly became a “win entries to a competition” or “coffee if you happen to use only cafe Nero” or the ever pointless and often given away taste card. They really have made some bad choices which will lose them their following.

What an absolute farce the new update…

What an absolute farce the new update is. Not only is it now completely useless with incentives that are of no interest at all, unless you like chain establishments. They didn't even manage the update properly, with half of the text still the font example text. The 'reward' they have offered for current points is vastly undervalued, compared to the previous system. Very relieved I don't pay for the premium. Will be deleting.

I would give it zero stars if there was…

I would give it zero stars if there was an option. The new update on 1/7/26 was probably the worst thing they have done. No supermarket vouchers to earn points towards to help people with the cost of the shopping. That's the reason I used it . Im not interested in slight discount on meals out, that's no good for me.
This is now a pointless app. Don't install, it's a waste of time and effort.
You really need to rethink your decision on the shopping, especially with the cost of living. Shame.

I was loving the app and getting my…

I was loving the app and getting my vouchers but after today’s update I have cancelled my subscription. The new perks are not perks at all, there are no coffee shops on the app near me and The taste card is also not good within my area and this is often an offer you get with making purchases. Very disappointed

Ruined completely…

I have been using and enjoying this app for a couple of years until it was ruined by introducing a subscription charge. I however continued to use for free without subscribing as I enjoyed tracking my dog walks and still managed to build up enough biscuits to get a £10 voucher every so often. Unfortunately there is now no point in using the app, the biscuit rewards have been removed completely in favour of entries into competitions that you have a very slim chance of winning. Such a shame that something enjoyable and rewarding has been completely ruined. I will be deleting the app 😒

The new update is rubbish

The new update is rubbish. My dog is older now so we don't go out as much, I have had the app for a few years and with each change it gets worse, like most rewards are pointless. I had been saving them up for a larger reward, there are not even a mixed of vouchers prices, to be honest it's crap now. I was thinking about joining the paid service but I think I'll give a a few weeks then get rid of it. You had a really good app and I used to tell other people but now it's not worth telling anyone.

What have you done

What have you done? I have used the app for a couple of years and paid for the Biscuit plus the day it went live. Well after today’s update and removal of things like Amazon vouchers I have cancelled two out of the three subscriptions my family has. The only one I have kept is the one we have free thanks to Waggel.
Cashed in my Biscuits then cancelled subscriptions and judging by Trust Pilot reviews I am not the only one and a Facebook group for Biscuit App users pretty much every one has complained about the update. Great Job marketer and developer - I give Biscuit six months now

Was great, now a totally useless app

Really disappointed with the 1st July update. I have had the biscuit app from the very beginning, and despite the changes several years ago making it a paid app to access the same level of savings as the original free app, I still felt it was worthwhile. For the price of a monthly subscription the savings won’t be worth it, as I rarely eat out and prefer to support local coffee shops rather than the huge chains. I used to save biscuit points over a month or 2 and cash in for a voucher to be used at a retail store, and that has all been taken away from the app today. I will be cashing out my remaining biscuits and deleting the app. What a shame they have made such drastic changes overnight, without informing subscribers previously.

Was amazing

Was amazing, but now just copying the masses. Have been a plus member since day 1, but cancelled now. The vouchers made you unique, I've had nearly £200s of shopping vouchers since we started and have encouraged others to sign up, plus my dog got extra walks or longer walks because of it. Many many many other companies offer 2 4 1 with taste cards and similar for free. I have one with my my one provider. 1 with my bank. Honestly believe the change to competitions will lose you a great number of subscribers, you had a niche but you've ignored probably what people signed up for. Did you consult us? NO.. It's a real shame.

Don’t subscribe it’s pointless!!!!

Where to start? I’ve been a customer since this app was free, however they then moved it to paid subscription of £3.99 a month which I figured was worth it as I was getting at least a £10 voucher every 2 months with the points I was managing to collect. Now for some utterly ridiculous reason they have decided to abolish this altogether and instead of being able to choose a voucher such as Amazon you have to put your vouchers toward COMPETITION ENTRIES!!!!! If you don’t want to do this the other option is putting money towards taste card or coffee???!!!! I do not eat out and I do not get coffee whilst I’m out therefore none of that is relevant. Previously I opted for Amazon vouchers to use on stuff toward my dog which is no longer an option!!! I do believe under the Consumers Rights Act 2015 you have violated that terms of the contract in which all of your customers have signed up for. The Consumers Rights Act states that you can only alter terms if you give customers 30 days notice to cancel their contract which you did not do.
What’s more I have commented the above on your Facebook page with lots of people agreeing with me only to be BLOCKED!! BLOCKED by a business that I’m paying in to for telling the truth!!
On reading all of the comments on your advert before I was BLOCKED I could see that not one person has agreed with these changes, there was not one positive comment, in fact all I was reading was people cancelling their subscriptions!!!
Absolutely disgraceful way to treat your customers Biscuit!!!

Hi, thank you for taking the time, and we're sorry for the frustration. We'd like to clarify a few things for you,
your Biscuits haven't been lost. You have until 31 July to still use your existing balance through the "Where did my Biscuits go?" option in the app, and that includes exchanging it for a voucher to spend with a range of merchants, not only on competition entries or dining offers. So the balance you built up is still yours to use.
It's never our intention to silence honest feedback, and we're sorry if it felt that way.
On the change itself, there's been a lot of research behind it, but we know the new rewards direction won't suit everyone. We also recognise that this is a change to the current rewards programme, and I'm sorry it hasn't landed well for you.
On your subscription: Biscuit Plus is purchased through the app store, so you're free to cancel at any time directly there, with no notice period, and no further payments are taken once you do. Refunds for store purchases are handled by the app store, and we're happy to walk you through it, just email support@biscuitpetcare.com.

Newest update is highly disappointing, not everyone enjoys dining out or coffee date to use it enough! Bring vouchers back, I'm positive I am not the only one deleting the app today. Paid for annual subscription, which I feel been taken advantage of due to recent changes

One thing worth clearing up: the new Treats are more than coffee. Through the perks, you get 2-for-1 mains, 50% off food or 25% off your bill at 6,500+ restaurants. And the Coffee Club isn't just for coffee, it's money off any drink the cafe makes, so it works whether you're a tea, hot chocolate or iced drink person.

If it doesn't, you're not stuck with it. You can cash out your Biscuits balance from within the app, and we're adding more online and everyday offers you can use without leaving the house.

What have you done

What have you done? Chopping and changing your mind on how we eran biscuit points then taking away the vouchers that we are saving for. Then insult me by saying I only have 30 days to use my biscuits that I've saved when you've taken away what I've been saving for? Come on ? It's not about making the app for a healthy dog. It's about you making money! Admit it this update is shit.

Hi Natalie, thank you for being honest, even though it's hard to read. After saving towards rewards that then changed, you've every right to be annoyed.

We won't pretend the 1 July update didn't shift things, so here's the thinking behind it. Instead of slowly saving points for one-off vouchers, keeping up your walks now unlocks Treats through tastecard: 2-for-1 mains, 50% off food or 25% off your bill, plus money off coffee, across 6,500+ restaurants and cafes. The more consistently you and your dog get out, the more you get back, again and again, rather than saving for months towards a single reward.

The Biscuits you'd already built up are still yours. If what you were saving for has gone, you can cash out your balance from within the app so nothing goes to waste.

We hear the bigger point too, that this should be about your dog's health first. That's exactly what the new model rewards, the routine of getting out together, and feedback like yours keeps us honest on it.

Since 1 July, keeping up your walks unlocks Treats through tastecard, discounts on meals and coffee at 6,500+ venues. If there aren't many near you, that's not much comfort, so here's the part that matters for you: you don't need a local venue to get value from your Biscuits. You can cash out your balance from within the app, and we're adding more online and everyday offers you can use wherever you are.
