I’ve had the biscuit app a number of…

I’ve had the biscuit app a number of years, initially I thought it was great and the rewards were easy to reach, the app itself is useful to see how far you have walked with your dog. Last year it changed to subscription and I remained a non subscriber. The rewards were much harder to earn but I had some saved from previously. This morn 1st July 2026 I couldn’t access the app without uploading an update which I did. Turns out my rewards already earned ( almost £40) previously were now worth £23. No problem with change or updates but I was not notified about the changes, if I had been I would have cashed the rewards in a few days ago getting almost double.
I will keep the app but purely for distance walked. I have had the app over five years and feel disappointed that I was not made aware of the changes to the reward system. The new update looks harder again to achieve points.
Used to be a great app but not anymore in my opinion - purely due to the lack of notice about changes. 🙁

Hi, and thank you for sticking with Biscuit for over five years. That genuinely means a lot, and we're sorry the 1 July changes have left you feeling let down.

We did email customers ahead of the changes to explain what was happening and to flag the window for using your existing balance. It's clear that the message didn't reach you in time, and whether it landed in a spam folder or slipped past in a busy inbox, the result is the same for you, and that's frustrating. We're sorry it worked out that way.

We're glad the walk tracking is still earning its place on your phone, and we'd love the chance to win back your confidence in the rest over time.

Recorded walks disappear

App is a little unwieldy. If you record a walk but then don't wait and hit the 'continue' button, it doesn't save it. Also some walks just disappear. Haven't managed to get enough points/biscuits for anything yet despite hitting daily targets. Looks like you only get anything if you pay for the premium/plus version. Seems more trouble than it's worth remembering to start it before each walk. Think I'll probably be freeing up some space on my phone soon.

We’d love to investigate this for you, as it doesn’t sound like the experience we want you to have. Please get in touch with us at support@biscuitpetcare.com and include as much detail as you can, such as your phone model, whether you’re using iPhone or Android, and if possible, the date and time of any walks that disappeared. This will help us look into what’s happening.

We’re also sorry to hear that earning rewards has felt disappointing. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts, as feedback like this helps us improve the experience for everyone.

I cancelled my subscription as Biscuit…

I cancelled my subscription as Biscuit does not support overseas walks. I am currently touring Europe in my motorhome with my pooch and find it frustrating our walks cannot be rewarded. My PitPat recognises our activity. Poor service

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We're sorry to hear that Biscuit didn't fit your needs while travelling across Europe with your dog. We completely understand how frustrating it must be to stay active, see your walks recognised by PitPat, but not be able to earn rewards through Biscuit during your trip.

Biscuit has always been a UK-focused app, and rewarded walks have only ever been available within the UK. This has been the case since Biscuit launched and is outlined in our Terms & Conditions, which state that Biscuit is intended for UK residents and UK-based use.

That said, we appreciate that this can be disappointing for members who spend extended periods travelling abroad with their dogs, especially when activity is still being tracked through PitPat.

Feedback like yours is incredibly valuable because it helps us understand how people are using Biscuit and where there may be opportunities to improve in the future. We've shared your comments with the team.

Have been with biscuit from the…

Have been with biscuit from the beginning. It makes so much sense to get freebies for walking your dog when you would do it anyway. We like to use our points at miller and carter and always reward our dog with some steak.
I have recommended this to several friends who have all joined and are happy.

Changed payments

Absolutely great app

What have you done to this app

Gave it 2 because when it works, its quite good.
The trouble is, it hardly works.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times because I can't end a walk, or it doesn't record any distance.
I probably lose 3 or 4 days of walks every week.
You send an email and you get a standard response asking you to record this, do this, stop that.
It takes hours each go and still doesn't work.
I bet I lose 100 biscuits a week at the moment.
Quick to take my £3.99 a month though. Not any more. Simply not worth it l.
Was brilliant when it came out.
