the product I ordered was fine and shipped very quickly. However, I am making them down as the instructions for assembly (a kettlebell storage rack) were some of the worst I had ever seen. The rack contains two sets of bolts which are only different by 5mm. It is not clear from the single page of assembly directions which length of bolt is supposed to go where.

Brought a few different pieces for my gym from here now and the owner is super helpful and all the gear is top notch! Collected it all and everything was brand new wrapped up.

Kettlebell arrived on time and is in perfect condition.

Arrived really quickly. Great items, go onto a kettle bell and dumbbell easier. Much more economical than buying all new weights and help progressive overload.

Bought the 6ft and 7ft black/chrome barbells with two sets of clips and couldn’t be happier. Quality is solid and they’re perfect for a home gym setup. Service was great, really friendly, and the price was a good deal. Customer service was spot on. I’ll 100% be coming back again.

Fast delivery and a great quality weight vest

We recently purchased a hex dumbbell set 5-25KG with a stand and picked up from the Yaxley storage unit. The owner was so brilliant and re organised his day to ensure he was available for collection at a time that suited us. The quality of the products is unmatched. Great quality materials, easy to build stand with all tools included and at a very reasonable price (much cheaper than other companies we originally looked at online). Would highly recommend!

I ordered some dumbbell racks and I can say BlackbearFitness dumbbell racks are top-tier. They’re extremely sturdy, well-built, and clearly designed with real gym use in mind. The racks hold dumbbells securely, make loading and unloading easy, and keep the training area clean and organized. The finish is durable and they can handle heavy daily use without wobbling or wear. If you’re outfitting a commercial gym or a serious home setup, these racks are absolutely worth it.

I have recently ordered some plates, they delivered perfectly on time. Very good quality product, well worth the money.

Ordered a dumbbell rack as a present which arrived absolutely fine.

I need to return the item due it no longer suiting the person I was gifting it for, emailed to set up a return on the 16th and have had no response.

Followed with a 2nd email and still no response.

Called a few times and they don’t answer.

Not great service at all which is a shame as it looks like they sell some decent equipment.

I bought the calf machine, budget price, feels OLDSCHOOL in the best possible way, just WHAM, hits the calves, transports you back to golden era machines, simple, effective, no nonsense.

Customer service, first rate.
Delivery, fast.
Highly recommend, and will be my go-to fitness store now for myself and for my clients.

I sent two emails on Friday 16th Jan asking whether the B1 folding rack came with spotter arms. I did not receive a reply. It was still a decent price without so I purchased 11am on Saturday 17th Jan. The website states shipping will be on the same day as the order or at worst the following business day. It is now Tuesday 20th Jan at time of writing and I still have no dispatch notification, or any tracking info. I sent another email on Monday 19th Jan asking for an update when the rack would be shipped - no reply. I purchased from the company because of the price but also because of their story on their website and was very happy with my decision until I decided to read some online reviews (which admittedly I should have read prior to purchase). It was here I was fairly alarmed to read repeated 1 star reviews for poor customer service, damaged deliveries, missing items etc. I immediately began to try and recover the funds through the payment provider as I have no faith that the item will ever be dispatched.

It is a huge shame as amongst the bad reviews are a lot of great ones praising the company - I am not sure where this disparity comes from. I don’t know if they have a bricks and mortar shop location which is doing well but the online is struggling or what. Either way a great shame as I liked what the company said they did and how they did it. And the price was great too, probably too good in hindsight.

EDIT 2: I am going to leave my review as is. Items arrived today which as far as I can understand on all of the info available on your website is longer than advertised. The items have all arrived in Rival Strength packaging and the rack is clearly the Rival Strength J1 rack. This is bizarre as it is actually a few quid cheaper to buy it on rival strength (£285) vs black bear (£289). All of the cross posts linking the wall fixings to the uprights have multiple chips in the powder coating, as do the red and silver fixings pins. All of the tube metal has internal rust and the pull up bar and one of the wall bars has surface rust. Otherwise it appears to be pretty sturdy.

It all just seems very odd why a different company is selling rival strength gear, as other reviews have noted items turning up from Amazon etc which weren’t what were advertised on the black bear website. I can’t quite figure out if you’re an outlet for rival strength gear that doesn’t quite meet quality assurance as per the chips in the powder coating, so you can still sell it and preserve the reputation of rival or if you are drop shipping items. Either way it’s just strange. I looked at the about us page of your company and was quite happy to spend my money here but now it has arrived, with the damage (which I can accept as it is just gonna be a garage rack), and it is clearly another companies items, I just feel like I’ve been misled and wish I’d gone elsewhere to begin with. I can’t be bothered to package it up and try and send it back as other reviews note a poor customer service experience when trying this so I’ll just cut my losses and chalk it up as a learning experience.

Wasn’t made clear at time of buying it was self assemble. Came in a damaged box. No assembly instructions manual. Contacted company who emailed me screen shots of each page of the manual but it’s impossible to work from. Still in the broken delivery box.

Absolutely top notch service throughout. Anthony couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, and I’m really happy with the new equipment. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

Squat/bench press rack received next day as promised and great quality. Sturdy and has nice little touches like strips on the spotters to stop the barbell hitting metal and poles at the back to store some weights - thanks!

Ordered online, unfortunately I missed the original delivery from courier. Spoke to Blackbear customer service who immediately assisted me and was able to receive my product the next working day. Great service and have recommended to Friends / family

This Roman chair back strengthener was a xmas present for my son. Box was received damaged so I checked nothing was missing but didn't open each piece as they were in plastic wrappers. Was concerned that there was absolutely no packaging at all to protect the contents but at least it all seemed to be there. Once unwrapped on xmas day we found that every single piece had a chip in the paintwork and one piece was bent and rusty. I contacted them by email that day realising I wouldn't get a reply probably until new year and my son put the chair together so at least he could use it. We then read in the battered instruction leaflet that chips from delivery were to be expected!!!! The first Monday in new year i had a reply saying they were in a staff meeting all day and would reply ASAP and I've never heard a thing since.
Shoddy service, appalling packaging, probably drop shipped from God knows where. Avoid.
