This Roman chair back strengthener was a xmas present for my son. Box was received damaged so I checked nothing was missing but didn't open each piece as they were in plastic wrappers. Was concerned that there was absolutely no packaging at all to protect the contents but at least it all seemed to be there. Once unwrapped on xmas day we found that every single piece had a chip in the paintwork and one piece was bent and rusty. I contacted them by email that day realising I wouldn't get a reply probably until new year and my son put the chair together so at least he could use it. We then read in the battered instruction leaflet that chips from delivery were to be expected!!!! The first Monday in new year i had a reply saying they were in a staff meeting all day and would reply ASAP and I've never heard a thing since.
Shoddy service, appalling packaging, probably drop shipped from God knows where. Avoid.

Ordered two bars were delivered within 48 hours. Really well packaged no marks at all on them.

I ordered the wrong size bar by accident and the company promptly sent out a replacement bar for the size I wanted. They even let me keep the original bar and charged me no extra cost.

Will definitely order from them again and recommend to all my fellow lifters.

I thought Amazon was the world’s most customer centric company but they’ve been toppled by Blackbearfitness hands down.

Quality of material is outstanding, very smooth ball bearings unlike other places.

Purchase on 29 Dec - 1 to 2 day delivery. No tracking info by the following day, so rang and was told not yet shipped due to busy period and courier issue, which I understand. I suggested leaving dispatch until Monday 5 Jan. this was agreed and I was told it would then be with me the day after - 6 Jan. However, by the 5 Jan no notification of tracking. so I rang again and was told it was being collected that day and courier would send a tracking info email later that day. No tracking email arrived, so called again on Tuesday 6 Jan. I was told that they had sent out the item and would contact the courier for an update, then call me back within the hour. No call back after 2 hours, so rang again. this time told me they are chasing it up and will get back to me in 5 mins - 2 1/2 hours later still no call back. Now it was getting close to end of business day so rang again, no answer, then again, no answer, then again, no answer. This experience made me think that my order had not been shipped at all, and they perhaps have a strategy of just telling customers (though very polite and friendly) whatever it takes to make them believe all is fine and to get them off the phone. So emailed to cancel and to request refund - 24 hour later and no reply. So rang and was told that team had been off work and only just back in office, and they would be contacting me within 45 mins to discuss my cancelation. I did not really believe this, and as expected, no reply from them at all.

Wanted to build a home gym in the garage as a new year/ Xmas present

From the very being of my transactions with Blackbear Fitness the experience has been nothing short of catastrophic. Error after error after error, resulting in me remaining a completely unsatisfied customer in the 2nd week of January 2026. How one company can get so many things wrong and continue to give platitudes and make promises they fail to meet is beyond belief. Common sense would dictate that someone with responsibility in the company would take the time to stop and realise that they need to do something to make all the errors right. Unfortunately this appears to be beyond the capability of this company and its owner(s). So here I am genuinely wanting to leave a good review but unable as Blackbear fitness continue to fail on every count and are devoid of customer service, common decency or common sense.

Really happy. Ordered the lat pull down machine which was at a really good price. Arrived 2 days later. Took a couple of hours to put together. If you can put ikea furniture together, you’ll be fine. What I have now is a bit of kit that will last for years. Will use this company again.

Ordered a belt squat and stand around a month ago and no response from customer service. I’ve emailed 3 times and called many times.

They have not emailed me back as stated in the below response. I can’t find any reply from anyone.

Ordered a set of weights and a bench on 15th Dec and still don’t have any product. Chased on numerous occasions and was told that it was 100% on a pallet to be delivered the next day. No show. Spoke to the company after initially wiring a review (my first ever on Trustpilot) as I was so incensed at the lack of response. I agreed to take the post down to give them an opportunity to deliver on morning of Xmas eve as they assured me it would be. Waited in on Xmas eve morning and no delivery again. I had to call to find out what was happening and was told it was the delivery company issue with drivers. Irrelevant as far as I am concerned. The company continue to advertise and charge for fast delivery 1-2 days right up until Xmas eve and still do. It is the wasted time waiting for delivery on the few days off over Xmas with the kids that has irked me even more than the lack of product. And continually being told it would be delivered. Now been told they will be in my area on 29th but have zero faith it will be delivered.

Would be interesting to know if others had similar issues with delivery. My brother also purchased from the company a few months ago and the weights were delivered on multiple occasions not in one delivery as had been informed.

Bolts are painted so the nuts won’t go on! In the end I gave up and didn’t add the wheels as a result!

Two stars because item did arrive. Arrived with chips and not fully functional. No response from blackbear email on their website. No number to contact. Dodgey website avoid.

I have been using Blackbearfitness for nearly 6 years now. The service is always quick, Ant is extremely helpful and the quality of the kit just keeps getting better.

Product never came

Missing parts. I have contacted the company and still no reply? Finally decided to ring the company and they were very helpful and hopefully my missing parts will arrive soon?Mr Thorpe
