We had a challenge with emails from both Block Equity and Ready Capital. Ted got us through it. He was on it right away and worked us along. It was a lengthy process but I was confident Ted would do the right thing and he did!

Jamie Brunstad did a wonderful job getting the maximum amount of funding for out business to grow and expand. I would suggest working with him. He is very good at keeping the communication channels open so we knew every step and process.

Yazan at Block Equity Group was very helpful in assistance us with securing funding to grow our business. While the process took a bit over 2 months, we ended up getting a much better deal than had we rushed to accept the "1st offer". I highly reccomend working with Yazan over at Block Equity Group.

I began working with Charlie at Block Equity last year to secure a business loan. After a short time working together, I was approved for a smaller loan. Charlie was very persistent and stayed on top of communication during that process, which I appreciated.
The loan requires weekly payments, which is not ideal, but my business has been able to maintain it without issue. Charlie explained that once I secured this initial loan, we would then push for an SBA loan, use it to pay off the smaller loan, and move to a more manageable monthly payment while allowing me to expand my business.
However, shortly after I secured the smaller loan, communication stopped completely. Charlie went ghost. I left a review at that point, and only then did he reach out to apologize. I accepted the apology and decided to continue working with him toward the SBA loan.
After about a month of working on the SBA process, I reached underwriting with the lender. At that stage, the loan officer needed financial projections. Unfortunately, both Charlie and another representative completely stopped responding again. Because I did not receive the support needed to complete those projections in time, my SBA application was ultimately denied.
As a small business owner actively trying to scale, this was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I relied on Charlie and Block Equity to help guide me through this process, and once again, the lack of communication caused a major setback. At this point, I take responsibility for trusting the company a second time, but the experience still fell far short of expectations.
I’m sure I’ll receive a call about this review, but I will not be taking it down. Due to repeated communication delays, I will also not be moving forward with Charlie or Block Equity.
My advice to anyone considering Block Equity: make sure your QuickBooks, financials, and projections are fully prepared before starting the SBA loan process. They may connect you to lenders, but when it comes to hands-on financial support or follow-through, I would not rely on them.

Yazan made the experience great and smooth. It is extremely frustrating applying for funding specially as a small business owner. I would even describe getting funded as something that is virtually impossible for small business owners. Yazan made the impossible, possible. I am really grateful and I am excited to continue to work with him in order to grow our company with his help and expertise.

Theodore Gallucci ( Teddy ) helped our business in acquiring an SBA Loan. The endless work it takes to acquire an sba loan is a pain but no fault to him. He helped us push through to get us funded. He will be my go to person/business for all my loans going forward for my business. We are working on another loan for a business acquisition right after the first loan has just been approved. He and his group put in a lot of work to get these done. I trust them a lot. And I would use them over and over again.

Easy and fast process, Yazan was on top of everything.

I had a really good experience with Raj. After 2 years of being denied for loans for my business Raj managed to secure me funding through a lender which was equally good to us through out the process. It was quick aswell, what I thought would  have taken a month or more we closed up in less then a week. This was not my first time working with Raj either. He does things quickly so make sure you are ready and decisive because he will get the process moving quite aggressively. Very good experience, we are already planning the next round of funding 6 months from now. Truly grateful to Raj and his team for the service they provide. Thank you!

Great company and would definitely work with them in the future. My account rep Brittany Nesmith was awesome in making sure I had every opportunity in being successful in finding a loan. She was on point and honest and I could not ask for any more than that.

I am writing to commend Ted at Block Equity for the truly amazing service he provided. If there were a higher rating for Ted and the Block Equity team, they would definitely deserve it.

Ted was great every step of the way and never gave up on me, going above and beyond to provide help. He made the process feel comfortable rather than a formal corporate situation, communicating with me after hours and even on weekends. This was the most easygoing process I have ever dealt with.

Constant harassment from this company. I received multiple texts and calls from them. I responded that I wasnt interested in getting funding. They said no problem. Couple days later same thing.. asked why they keep contacting me.. they stopped for a few days then contacted me again saying "let us know if you arent interested, so we can stop contacting you" RIGHT AFTER I just responded to a message saying "Im not interested" I even have screenshot proof if I could upload it.

Buyer Beware. Do not use these guys at all. This review matches their services. All talk so they can get a commission any which way possible. Took them 2.5 months to start the application on which I could not get an SBA loan. Also they had no idea who was my bridge lender. I had to stop payment in order for the lender to actually reach out to me to get my account details. Never again will I use this company and it use another company like this.
