Toby, a carpenter with BNS, worked on my table and did an excllent job. He was efficient, friendly and had a 'can do' attitude. He even kindly hung a picture for me which wasn't on the job list. I hope to have Toby work on my jobs again.

Our building manager wasn't available, but after speaking to multiple colleagues, I finally was put in touch with Andy Hawkins, who—although this wasn't his account—took the time, going above and beyond on an account that wasn't his, to investigate my queries and find me what I needed. He was incredibly helpful and got me the documentation I needed on very short notice. I am very grateful for his time and speedy work.

I have been working with Bradley Saunders for the last few months at BNS. He is so knowledgeable of this sector, always happy to pick up the phone with updates and as soon as I ring him, he answers or rings me straight back... top class customer service goes along way. I lived in a BNS managed flat for over 4 years, and I am finally relieved to be out of it.
The shared area was very small, 2 floors and a tiny garden in rural Bristol, so not a lot to manage. When I moved in, the management cost was just over £70 a month, when I move put it's was about £110 plus countless back pays. This was an absolutely absurd cost for what was being managed, not in line with inflation or what was being done.
The shared area was disgusting and left unmanaged despite the jump in costs. Mould everywhere, paint peeling off the walls, it smelt like rot. I have raised it every month for over 6 months and the damage got significantly worse from not being repaired.
The garden costs on one of the years DOUBLED, yet the garden was a pile of overgrown weeds. I asked for an explanation and break down of how this expense was approved on our behalf and I never got to the end of where that money went.
This is just a few examples from my time there. I have now moved, but if I wasn't able to afford to move I would have continued with my ombudman complaints and pressed for a management change. My neighbours were all unhappy with the costs and the state of the shared area and I couldn't be happier to have moved on!

Awful. 6 months (and counting) to fix minor door and bathroom issues. Door still not sorted. No communication, takes 4 emails over several weeks to get a response. They clearly don't care.

We've had some turbulence in recent months with BNS, though more to do with individuals and possibly the blunt fact that some people just don't perform in challenging roles. While this has reflected somewhat on the business as whole, it is worth noting that despite what appears to be a string of poor staff, we have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Shannon, who has stepped in to pick up a number of dropped and forgotten matters as well Lydia, who has assisted in trying to resolve the issues in our building. While just a stepping stone until we have a new manager onboard to replace the last, kudos to Shannon, as the head of the team, for coming forward with an honest approach and broad shoulders to try and get service moving back in the right direction. This is an agent who, with the right people, do provide a service worth paying for, let's see how long it continues.

BNS, with Teresa Goy has been our property manager for just over a year. The service we get from them is exceptional in this world of managed sites and properties and we are extremely lucky to have a knowledgeable, responsive and industrious property manager in Teresa. With us she has faced a number of challenges since taking on this contract, and always with a positive cheerful and confident manner in resolving issues that have arisen. She has exceptional inter personal and communication skills, and will always 'go the extra mile' to ensure issues are addressed and resolved .

Our property manager Callum is extremely efficient. When our communal light needed fixing, within a few days it got fixed. On other occasion, when we needed an approval for alteration, he gave us an approval within the same day. He is always there for us - Employee of the Month.

Recently, our block had a water leak that started on the fourth floor and flooded the three floors below. BNS acted quickly when the incident was reported and our property manager, Shannon, quickly got a team to us. This included Steve, in maintenance and Liam the electrician. The problem was solved and sorted quickly with efficiency and professionalism. Also, they were excellent at looking after the concerns of the mostly elderly residents. Good work!

Hey BNS, maybe sending a random worker to knock on your door without prior notice or consent is not the most efficient way to conduct business? I appreciate the concern to ensure proper fire alarm maintenance but this is a joke. Please call or email residents maybe? Let’s act like a business.

Teresa Goy was dealing with my enquiry, and was an absolute star. She resolved my query efficiently and quickly. The person teresa replaced, was unable to resolve an ongoing issue, but as soon as Teresa took over that role, the issue and problems were resolved very quickly.
Good communication as well.

Having had a poor experience in the past, Lydia Patel has been a complete revelation at BNS. Since she took over management of our 6-flat property in Redland the service has been excellent - great communication, proactive management and always very responsive. Thank you Lydia!

Do not use this company!
The developer Hawkfield Homes set up a 2 year contract with this company. We are 18 months into the contract and still have no visibility of what they are actually contracted to maintain. Instead they visited the development this week to advise that they would need to increase their charges to complete the work they are contracted to do.
We have received a breakdown of their service charge which shows only 36% of what we pay them actually goes towards maintaining our development!
Perhaps if they stopped lining their own pockets with our hard earned money they would have enough money to pay their staff to complete the work they have contractually agreed to fulfill!

Appalling rude and arrogant staff at BNS !! They do as they please! ignore Directors instructions!
They need to be seriously reminded that they work for us and not the other way around !!!

A tree fell on our property in Feb 2022 from land managed by BNS causing significant damage to a car and fencing. Fast forward to Sept 22 the work is partially complete. Communication has been incredibly poor and as a neighbour to this land, I don't feel taken seriously.

I have had some issues working with BNS in the past, but I have to say that Bonnie had completely changed my opinion of them. She hasn’t been working with our block for a very long time, but in the space of a few months she has been so helpful, extremely organised and really flexible in her approach. For example she is happy to communicate by both phone and email, whichever is easiest for me at the time, which is really handy. She has also progressed key actions that had been outstanding for quite some time and is really good at moving things along. Thanks Bonnie!!!

The most unprofessional, arrogant property managing company you can imagine. Read all the bad reviews to see what they are really like, these will be genuine. Total lack of transparency, a high turnover of staff, senior managers who never reply to complaints. I could go on for hours. Do not touch this company with a barge pole!!
