I consider myself most fortunate to have found a reliable and incredible team who work altogether to deliver amazing service and outstanding work. Engaged Book Marketeers in December 2023 for a two-book marketing campaign. After soaking me for $5K, they failed to deliver on promises, and when I fired them at the end of March, they have since failed to issue a refund or even to reply to emails. Absolutely horrible experience.

Being a first time author I really didn't know what to expect or know what I needed. Amitting this right up front got me all the help I could possibly ask for. My first book Chris Mathew and Anne guided me through, step by step, not being in a rush I felt it all went smooth. I had no idea how good seeing my book published would feel!
My second, an audio book led me to Jack Mathews, again with Sophie and Anne enjoying quick replys to my many questions, still relying on their expertise to guide me through the process. Again not being in a rush, I feel everytthing is right on schedule.
I'm now anticipating yet another book, confident in Book Marketeers to continue their professionalism and quick replys.

I am an 89 years old. Book Marketeers sold me their Elite Publication Plan for my autobiography in October 2022 for $2100 and their Developmental Editing in November 2022 for an additional $1800. Half way through the editing process, they stopped communicating in July 2023. My wife also contracted them to retype two of her existing books for release on Amazon for $500 each. Even a simple typing job was beyond their capability to do correctly. For a total of $4900 from our limited resources we received nothing but heart ache and frustration and initiated a fraud report, hoping to save others from the same experience. They just walked away with our money without meeting one of their obligations. They give the impression that they are a New York publishing company, affiliated with Amazon publishing. In my attempts to reconnect with them, I discovered that the only presence they have in New York is a Post Office box in Astoria, but the company operates out of Punjab, Pakistan, using American sounding names. I encourage anyone to who is seriously considering them to make the effort to check them out or better to avoid them completely. Also, it makes a great difference in how a book is edited if English is not the editors first language.

I thought the process of getting my book published through #BookMarketeers was overall a very good experience. However, I think there is room for some improvement, especially in enabling the writer to be able to communicate more effectively with the people who work with Daniel, including the case manager and the editor. But kudos go to Daniel and all those who provided their good work for me.

My book was just published under a professional imprint and it looks great. I had the manuscript but didn't know how to put it together into a professional book or promote it. Derrick Hudson worked with me, and now I have a great cover and layout, as well as a marketing plan and resources. I'd recommend Book Marketeers to any indie author.

Kenrick Lazarus and his team executed the cover and manuscript superbly. Im completely satisfied with all their work, efficiency and concern about my interests. They all did a wonderful job and for a great price. I highly recommend Bookmarketeers and Kenrick Lazarus for self publishing fiction.

I would not give this company any stars! Not only did they not follow through on their contractual promises, but when I disputed the charges on my credit card they falsified emails and documents to dispute my claim.
Luckily, I was able to provide proof of their deceit and lack of performance. I would however, give 5 stars to Amazon Smart Marketing for the incredible marketing job for my book.

I've already written a review about this agency regarding my publishing experience and gave it two stars. This particular review is regarding the marketing package they sold me while I was still in the process of publishing my first book.
The marketing package promises 100% customer satisfaction, whatever that means.
Unfortunately, in my experience, it was 0% satisfaction and 100% stress.
This company DOES NOT follow the contract, does not honor the timeline provided, and does not provide the results promised both verbally and contractually.
All that time, I had to chase the PM, receiving occasional responses or, in most cases, no response at all. My questions were not answered, and requests to provide information or answers were ignored.

I have not received ANY return on my investment (which was $2000 for the publishing contract, $1500 for the marketing contract, and additionally $500 to provide admin rights to my own website). Instead, I would receive “up-sale” offers from PM with promises to make the results even better.

My first book was published in April 2023. The marketing contract was signed in March; however, work on it started in July (which is already past the refund time window), and, according to the PM, the returns were expected in September; then, the same PM promised sales in November.
Additionally, the Amazon campaign my PM "ran" generated about 150 Amazon ratings, but those ratings completely disappeared after a month, and I'm back with my 14 ratings. PM blamed Amazon algorithms for that, but my ratings were never restored.

Then, my PM stopped communicating with me completely, so I contacted the company and was reached by another PM (or rather, a manager of all PMs?). After explaining my situation, I was promised to get a new PM, and generate results.
However, several days later, this manager called me and started talking to me, clearly thinking he was talking to a different person (telling me that my changes to the cover would be published in a week... what???). He didn't even remember what my issue was, and instead of admitting he'd made a mistake, he started changing gears while coming up with complete nonsense.
Then, he started pushing a new marketing package on me, giving me another set of false promises, such as a full refund on all my investments if there was no return.
When I requested to write it in the contract, I received the same marketing contract with one very vague sentence about a refund. I showed the document to my lawyer, who confirmed the paper had no legal value.

By then, I was pretty much fed up with the constant lies, misrepresentation of the situation, and, in many cases, a very rude attitude of the last PM I'd been talking to.

I cannot tell why I was treated this way, especially after seeing all those positive reviews, but I can only speculate on the validity of those positive reviews. The disclaimer on trustpilot.com also indicates that this company misrepresents the reviews.

One more addition. While I was "working" with this company, I published my second book completely on my own, and I'm about to publish the third one. And the PM had the audacity to ask me why I didn't use their services.
