As a first-time author getting his book released, the publishing company Bookmarkeeters helped rush this project to completion. The Project Manager, Ryan Cooper, collaborated with me, and his team did a fantastic job. The initial contacts I had with the company were excellent as well. I highly recommend Bookmarkeeters for self-publishing your book. It is a dream come true!!

Never give up on those dreams. I always say, "Dream big, think big, and do big things."

SCAM. They claim to be professionals, but the only professional thing is taking your money.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They lie about what they provide in their services. The amount of money I spent was wasted as I needed to hire another company to fix everything that was done from editing my book to marketing. They created linkedin accounts without my permission and did not give me access to my own page. They refuse to give me the credentials. When creating my website, I was told I had full ownership yet after a year, my domain expired and I was never told. When I reached out to Book Markeeters, they said i would have to pay them $3,200 to purchase my domain when I paid for it myself. Their reason was that they created the domain on their end. I had the worst experience with this company. I cut ties after working with them for 6 months yet Two years and I am still having issue with finding things they created in my name without consent. When I called to complain (yet again), they tried to get me to work with them again! The nerve of these people!!

Daniel Jackson gets five stars because he was FANTASTIC at getting my project finished. (I would award him more if I could) It had languished under previous managers. Then, Daniel took the helm and he got my project moving like a Japanese bullet train!! He is always willing to answer questions and if he doesn't know the answer, he WILL get the answer. It is because of Daniel Jackson that the manuscript that I'm currently working on will go to Bookmarketeers. THANK YOU, Daniel.

Sophie and the team were patient helping a first time author get his book released. Whenever I had a concern or needed an explanation she got me the answers I needed. There are many steps that an author has to complete from manuscript to publishing and it was easy to do them with them. There are many publishers out there with various contracts. With them I could curtail and custom what I wanted.

She stays in close contact with me all the time and is so easy to connect with and relate to.

I had a rough start with BookMarketeers, but Sophie Miller rescued the day. Everything is on track now and my book is online and available for my friends.

Bookmarketeers is a low grade publishing company that is constantly trying to sell you on spending more money. Had a book published even though I was very leery. Up from price was a scam and they were lying to keep bleeding you for more money even though the book turned out to be very poor quality. I caught 3 of their publishers in outright lies. I’m sure this review will never be made public. Title “The Final Chapter of A Real Twilight Zone”.
Shortly after review, I received a call telling me to delete this review and 25 books would be in the mail. After I asked a few questions about quality of book he said he would call me back. No call, no books. This was in July.
I will use alphabet J,K,L in reference to people I had dealings with. I contacted J in August of 23 and we made a deal. Book was supposed to be in print by 2nd week in September. No results. ( The first book was great). Now back to second book, after many conversations K took over account in December 23, I realized the book would not be printed and I told them to cancel. In May 24 I was contacted by I who convinced me to go ahead with publishing and reactivated account even though I was very leery. I did pay quite a bit more for my own curiosity. I was sure it was still a scam in my mind but it might help someone else.
I think the isbn number is fake. I can’t find it on the internet nor the UPC code on the book although I haven’t tried in last month. Also I think it was published through kdp which I could have done for free. After several conversations and a few casual questions I realized their location address may be fake. When you turn on the street there is a funeral home on the right across the street from a Bagel shop but no signage of their business being on the left side. I find it ironic that a few blocks further and to the left is a federal prison. I don’t think I would pick an address between a prison and a funeral home for a business.
With the talent they have, I can’t understand the ethics. Their business could be a real asset.
This review is a warning to new writers to be very cautious. I have resolved that the lesson learned was for my benefit. Thanks for reading and happy writing.

Being a first-time author I was nervous working with professional publishers and marketing teams. They were kind, patient and fairly quick to respond to questions and concerns. My book was pretty quickly published and available for download. I am awaiting receiving my personal copies, copyright documentation and saving up to try the full Marketing aspect. Once those are down with success will elevate my star rating to 5 full stars.

I wrote my original version in Spanish and ask book marketers to print me few books in this language for family members and friends that would enjoy more reading my ideas in their original one. I chose Book Marketeers to publish my first book in June 2022. They were patient and understanding with me, leading me to believe I was dealing with a reputable company. They did get my book published on Amazon in December 2023.

In January 2024, it became most apparent that my paid-for services, which included their marketing plans, the creation of an author's website, and the production of a non-AI rendering of my book in audio by a celebrity voice artist, had all been presented to me in manipulative and deceitful ways.

I asked Book Marketeers' project manager over the phone to refund the money I paid for these services because I was misled and the services unfulfilled.

Their project manager tried to smooth things over by offering me different marketing methods. However, when I refused to do further business with Book Marketeers and said that I only wanted my money refunded, the project manager treated me with the utmost disrespect. The call ended abruptly, and my only recourse was to place chargebacks through my credit card company in hopes of getting my money back.

It took three months working with my credit card company to get my money back finally.

I feel compelled to warn others. I urge potential customers to be cautious and well-informed before engaging with Book Marketeers.
