Great for walking the dog!

I have both a boot buddy and a paw buddy. They are both great little devices and I use them daily on my dog walks. The only reason I have gone with 4 stars and not 5 is that my original paw buddy had started leaking and was also getting very stiff to turn the brush end so had to order another. Would still buy again though because they do the job very well!

Handy gadget that works really well.

It was easy to navigate the website and the order arrived promptly. The Boot Buddy works well even on my muddy fell running shoes, and I have a separate one for our bikes - really handy when we had a hosepipe ban in the summer! I’ve even bought one each for my daughters because they’re so easy to use.

Great idea!

This is such a good idea for walkers, golfers, etc. so I bought some eco ones for my husband and grown up children. My husband has used his, his feedback is that it is quite good and quicker than using a bowl and brush. You can adjust the nozzle for water flow. He’s only used it once so far.

A great piece of kit that makes…

A great piece of kit that makes cleaning boots a piece of cake.
The brush gets rid of all the larger mud and the scraper gets into all the sole treads.
Always in my boot bag now, when I go walking the dog
Pity this wasn't around when I played rugby, many moons ago

Never received item

Never received item, been a month now, couriers confirmed it has been lost and they are refusing to refund. Haven’t replied to multiple emails, last contact was over a week ago. Absolutely disgusting customer service and now having to claim through bank.

Still didn't receive my items

Still didn't receive my items a week after ordering.
Just to rub salt in the wound, they emailed me asking for a review. Both the links on the email take you to the main sales site, not a review platform, so I'm starting to think all their reviews are fiction!

Do not order from this company!

I placed an order and when I had not received the item 3 weeks later, chased - they confirmed the item was out of stock and could not be fulfilled. I have repeatedly been promised a refund and that it would be processed within 10-15 days, but I never received any confirmation or the money back despite multiple follow-ups since my order was originally placed back in November. 'Customer Care' communication became repetitive and unhelpful, with no clear answers or action taken, leaving me without the product or my funds. I’ve now had to escalate the matter to my payment provider to recover my money — extremely disappointing and would not recommend.

Appalling customer service

Item ordered 6/12/25 in, what I thought would be in time for Christmas, given the timescales advertised on the website (3-5 days). Item was apparently dispatched, but tracking did not progress. Notified customer service who said they would look into this, but it was essentially out of their control - I have heard nothing since. I have followed this up with an email asking what they were going to do to ensure I had the item for Christmas (after all, my ‘contract’ was with them - not the delivery company) - no response. When it became obvious I wasn’t going to receive this in time, I followed up a request for a refund - no acknowledgement or refund given. Absolutely appalling customer service and whilst I appreciate this is a busy time of year, they should have anticipated the greater demand on customer service and planned accordingly, in my opinion. It seems there are problems with this company looking at the volume of complaints on here. My advice would be to hold onto your money…

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. This company took my money in November for an order that they assured me was cancelled. I have emailed every day to be told they will refund me the 26.99 . A month later and I still do not have my refund! I wish I had never placed an order with them

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Item didn’t arrive and customer service tried batting it back to me to send them a denial of receipt before they would send a replacement product. It’s now been four days and I have still not had any confirmation to say they are in receipt of my denial of receipt or are sending out a replacement product. In the meantime I am getting numerous emails asking to review the product…. that I don’t even have.

Terrible customer service!

Everything ran smoothly until I received my delivery!
An incorrect item had been shipped to me so I reached out to customer service expecting a simple resolution! However, the company tried to bat me off with an apology expecting me to keep an item I didn’t want. I contacted them again suggesting an exchange for the incorrect item and the reply I received wanted me to pay for shipping costs to do this!
After disputing that this is something I’d be required to do under consumer law (because of their error), all contact has stopped over the last 5 days despite me on 2 occasions trying to get an update.
No telephone number, only communication channels are by email or a website enquiry!
My advice, don’t bother to save yourself the hassle and time with a firm who clearly aren’t customer centric whatsoever!
I’ve raised a chargeback with my credit card provider and they can deal with them now!

Exceptionally poor customer service

Boot Buddy had been completely ignoring my numerous emails about an issue, for 10 days. I then submitted a (not complimentary) review to their chosen review platform, called Judge.me - and within 30 minutes I had a response from Boot Buddy and then a promised refund of the item I had an issue with. (Update on that below.) I don’t believe these timescales are coincidental, because they have also chosen NOT to publish my review on that platform (yes, the store can actually choose whether to allow their reviews to be published on judge.me or not!). It’s also very interesting to see that Boot Buddy has flagged four of its 1 star reviews in the past 12 months on this platform (Trustpilot) in attempts to get them removed - and every one of their objections has been found to be invalid. I really did expect a lot better from this company and am extremely disappointed by their indifference towards customers. UPDATE ON PROMISED REFUND: No refund was processed despite their promise. All my emails were once again completely ignored until I threatened legal action when I then (I’m sure not by coincidence for a second time!) received an email saying a refund has been processed (nothing received yet - will continue to monitor).

One month no product or refund

Ordered products 10th November , chased after 2 weeks as non delivery , received a reply a few day late to advise system problem which was in the process of being sorted , 1 week later no products or update chased again and was told products out of stock so refund would be issued , ( this was a Friday and all refunds done on Sundays ) no acknowledgement of refund completed so chased again and was told my details would be passed on to the refund team and I would be updated . As of Monday 8th December no further updates and no refund . I will now have to use my bank for chargeback of my 47.00 . Absolutely shocking customer service , lots of apologies but no action. no contact number for them all correspondence via email .

Avoid

I ordered the sizzle buddy and boot buddy on 26th Nov. Hadn't heard anything by 2nd Dec so emailed them. Found out one item was now out of stock. I replied saying to carry on with the other item and refund the out of stock item, which was promised to be despatched within 24hrs. 48hrs later and still no sign of despatch. Emailed again on 4th Dec to cancel the whole order and get a refund. Was told refund would be processed by end of the week. Still no sign of my refund. Since I paid through PayPal, I have opened a case with them to get my money back.

Communication poor

I ordered a package deal with the different brush heads. Received on Fri 28th Nov. Opened package and everything was fine apart from the original brush head attached to the boot buddy. It’s all bent and out of shape. I emailed the company with photos as proof, not long after it was delivered (good job I opened it straight away to check!)
So far all I have is that they will investigate and then decide. You would have thought the photos would be proof enough, considering I messaged them almost immediately after receiving the package. No timescale given, I replied asking how long and still no reply.
It’s been a week now, I thought this would be sorted by now. It also feels like I’m being ignored.
2 stars mainly due to poor communication, and if I’m honest, the product doesn’t seem like good quality at all, but perhaps fine with the sale price. I only got it because it was a Christmas present request.

Edit: I have now had a response and apparently “ For the bristles, it will be back on form, it's just need to be used and in a bit wet and the bristles will go back in place”. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift. How embarrassing that I have to give substandard product.
