“They are sending sprays with old manufacturing dates.”
am writing to formally complain about this order, which has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
I urgently ordered this spray for an injured pigeon and specifically paid an additional £9 for express shipping, expecting fast delivery due to the emergency nature of the situation. Despite this, the package did not arrive on time and was delivered only after 10 days, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for express service.
To make matters worse, the product I received has a LOT number of 230501, meaning it was manufactured in May 2023. As of February 2026, this leaves only a very short remaining shelf life. Sending a near-expiry veterinary product, especially for urgent animal care, is unacceptable.
At no point was I informed that:
the delivery would be significantly delayed despite express shipping, or
the product would be so close to its expiration date.
This experience shows a serious lack of care and professionalism. I paid extra for speed and reliability and received neither.
I expect:
a full refund of the express shipping fee, and
either a replacement with a fresh production date or a full refund.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with a formal complaint and leave an honest public review detailing this experience.
This order has completely destroyed my trust in Boss Pet.
