Breck's sent me a code for free shipping if I ordered $50 or more. I put in an order, but when I clicked to finalize it, the free shipping disappeared. I twice sent e-mails about the issue to customer service but got no reply. I finally called and was told that the bulbs had been ordered, too late. I could only get the free shipping back after I received the bulbs, and they provided a code for that. But they refused to cancel my order or to give me a refund for the shipping then and there -- said I had to wait until the bulbs cleared customs.

Ordered Three shipments of Amaryllis planted bulbs in holiday containers last fall as Christmas gifts for elderly family members. Two arrived with rotten, Mushy bulbs. Breck’s when contacted, replaced both orders(supposedly). Only one was sent out and the final order to my elderly aunt was canceled because it was out of stock. Why did they not contact me to send something else????
However, I was notified by a postcard in the mail from Breck’s 2 weeks or more after it was to be delivered. To me…. This was strike two.
They just refunded me my invoice and sent me $5.00 towards my next order. I called customer service and spoke to Richa who transferred me to supervisor named Sarabjit.
Richa was kind and understanding. Her supervisor was rude and kept saying there was nothing he could do. Really?
Poor customer service and terrible supply chain communication.

For two years in a row I have ordered Christmas gifts in the form of Amaryllis bulbs- three of them to be sent to 3 different people. I am then e-mailed 3 separate order receipts. Every year they don't get sent or only one gets sent. The excuse is that my credit card did not go through. Customer service at Breck's claims I was notified but I get no notification from them to this regard or my credit card company. This year when it happened,I asked that the two that did not get sent be re-sent at the same price and rate that I originally had- they would no longer order the free shipping because my order no longer met the criteria to receive it. I sent an e-mail about it and also got no answer. Their customer service is completely unhelpful and tone deaf. I will never use them again. Pay a little extra and use another company, one that is reliable and customer oriented.

I placed an order Sept 7, delivery between Sept 22-27. My order wasn’t shipped. I sent an email early October, never responded to. I called today, delivery is sometime between Oct 27 and Nov. 1. I imagine it will be too late to plant. Reasonable customer service would have sent an email with an update delivery or at the very least a response to my email early October.

My plants have still not arrived. I tried to change delivery to spring when I called to complain. Girl on phone said not possible. I had heard of their bad reputation but this was a birthday gift. Never again.

Never buy anything from Breck bulbs, I waisted money and time, they are terrible and dishonest company , send plants already dead and some so small that will not grow. In their brochure look great in some cases when the flower grows is not what I ordered, one I bought a light purple lili when flower after a year it was white !!!

Will not order again, They took almost a year to ship a $100 order to me but would not refund me after 3 inquiries. Just ridiculous.

This company is wild. I placed an order twice. The free shipping code they sent was invalid. I placed the order anyway. They wouldn’t refund the shipping. The gave a credit. After a day they sent a promotion on the items I ordered. I placed a second order a month later and the credit code they gave me was invalid. Again an hour after the order was placed they sent another promotion with free shipping. This practice is a red flag for me. I won’t order again. I am still waiting for both my orders to ship this fall…

I ordered a large amount of pink tulips. I ordered all the same color for a dramatic effect. When they opened in the Spring, about ⅓ were bright red!!
They gave me a credit (they don't give refunds), which I used to order some perennial roots. They were dried out and after weeks in the ground and plenty of water, they never grew. Not one leaf! I also some Lilly bulbs.
It did come up, but it was the most deformed lily I have ever seen!
DONT waste your money with this company. Their products are inferior!

I consider myself to be a top notch Gardener I know how to feed plants my garden is always a 10 out of 10 with that said I shares three specific varieties from them which were supposed to be pie pans 12 in. Every last one is a 5-in flower and does not resemble the picture very well that was advertised I am extremely unimpressed as most of my dahlias are massive and beautiful everything I have gotten at brecks has been a disappointment

Placed an order for 4 plants, totaling $95.
Within the next hour I had 4 fraudulent charges totaling $1,221.13. Fortunately, my credit card company notified me immediately of the suspicious activity.
They should be investigated by the appropriate authorities.
I’m a little upset that they posted my positive review but not my negative review on a different plant. There was nothing wrong with the review. It was honest and factual. Makes me lose my trust in them.
i ordered columbines from the photo bare rooted and grew them to bloom. the blooms were nothing like the photo. i called and wrote customer service. they did not respond. i would never buy from this company again. i gave them one star so I could write this review
The company promises a map to assist with planting. The map I received was for plants that I had not ordered and which did not arrive. In addition, one of the packages had soil, but no plant.
Good luck getting a refund or replacement. Customer service is in the Philippines and don't understand a dang bit of English. They will just lie and eventually hang up.
Very poor experience, I placed a large order because I’d seen about 60/40 positive reviews on Reddit. What a waste of money! It’s been a month and half and half of my order still hasn’t arrived and the company has ignored every email I’ve sent them. The part of the order that did arrive wasn’t very well packed and the tubers were completely dried out - meaning they probably won’t do anything. This entire order was an absolute waste of money.
First the reason I ordered from them was to get some things not easily found. My order arrived 3.5 weeks ago planted the next day according to all directions on pkg. Not one sprout yet and one pkg pure mush that was the one thing I wanted the most .Got a certificate to use from a company that sent garbage that IMO is not a refund. I guess live and learn .

some show up completely decomposed. No way to get any service. If you call, they just try to sell you other things like medical equipment. If you email, no response. Don't bother.
