Brick Slips
Brick Slips are tiles made from bricks, sometimes called brick tiles, they are either cut from the faces of either side of a full brick, or sometimes kiln fired as a slip to start with.
The Brick Tile Company
We are the UK's leader in brick slips. Crafted from genuine clay bricks, our products bring natural colour and texture to any space. You can easily tile them on using our brick slip installation guide, or we can recommend a local installer for you. If you're unsure of how many you need, we have a handy calculation tool as well.
Alongside the brick slips we also supply the adhesive, mortar, primer, spacers and sealant to make sure your project runs smoothly.
Our Collections
We have 3 separate collections, all with a different style, and containing a variety of colors:
The Reclaimed Collection
These are tumbled and worn brick slips, made as new bricks to current manufacturing standards, but processed to knock off edges and create misshapen tiles for extra character.
The reclaimed style is pre-aged so you will get a timeless look.
The Traditional Collection
The Traditional collection are brick slips cut from more familiar-looking bricks. We have selected a range of creased and aesthetically pleasing stock bricks to bring a familiar feeling, with character, but a little more consistency than the Reclaimed range.
The Contemporary Collection
The contemporary range are pre-made brick slips, with squared corners, smooth faces, and uniform shapes with either no, or very little variation in colour or texture across the blend for a modern finish.

Hi Yvonne,
I'm sorry you feel this way - samples cost us over £15 to make and send out, all we ask is essentially the shipping cost for them as a contribution. We tried doing them for free but whilst there was an increase in samples, no increase in orders followed. We are only a small business so we need to consider these things I'm afraid.
In terms of the shipping - the products are heavy and fragile so need to be secured to a pallet to arrive in one piece. This is the cost we charge out - hence why you have to put your postcode in to generate it from the pallet network's matrix. Due to unforeseen additional costs we actually make a loss on the transport costs we have to pay to them. The only alternative is adding it on to the product cost, which would put people off the products, but also make it unfair on some customers and we don't believe that is the right way.
Thank you for your comments on customer service, we understand the value of our products and try to help as much as we can.
I hope you understand on the sample and shipping costs.

The email I received showed a more preferable brick from the one I originally ordered
I emailed …and a lady called Julie very promptly, replied, stating my order can be changed with a small delivery charge as the order had been already loaded
I remarked on the efficiency of the company and agreed to pay delivery charge for new order
Julie rang me, at my request, to explain what it was I now required
What a lovely lady and how understanding and professional she was
Julie is a credit to this company as she was so kind and amenable and helpful .

Great experience using The Brick Tile Company. Delivery was within timescale, there was a slight issue as they had included primer instead of a bag of tile adhesive but they quickly delivered the adhesive when I made them aware. All products were good and easy to use, the installation videos made the installation easy too. I would order from them again.

Good experience overall
Easy to organise. I had a query over quantity and their customer service responded promptly with the accurate information. I also had to rearrange delivery times and, as long as you do it within their terms, it’s easy to arrange. This is the second time I’ve used them so they must be good.

Everything is excellent
Everything is excellent. Service, sampling, delivery, quality. Can't fault them.
The only thing I would say is delivery can be expensive because of the weight / pallet delivery, so make sure this is factored in when you cost it.
Their range is excellent and both jobs that I have done with their tiles have been very well received.
