I originally learnt to drive as a teenager but wasn’t very confident and never passed my test. Now in my 30s, I felt it was time to have another go.
Those who have tried to find driving lessons in Bristol will know it can be a painful experience, so it was refreshing that Bristol Intensives offered me a genuinely intensive schedule and stuck to it.
I had 40 hours with Pradeep, who was a great instructor - he was extremely patient and really took the time to explain everything properly, not just for the test but for future independent driving. The lessons felt very much tailored to what I struggled with the most, and I was able to practice everything to the point that I felt comfortable doing it without help. I passed straight away at the end of the course, but more importantly feel confident to continue driving independently.

Just finished a 35 hr intensive with Theo after failing to learn to drive sporadically over the last 18 years. It was the first time I sat in a car and was not micro managed to the point I dreaded every lesson. Theo made me feel very relaxed and had faith in me even when he probably shouldn’t have 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed this course and passed first time with two minors. Can highly recommend if you feel like you haven’t yet been able to get into the groove driving as Theo’s laid back approach massively helped instill confidence needed!

I was really dreading spending so many hours in a car with someone I'd never met, but I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Theo instantly put me at ease with his great sense of humour, endless patience, and calm approach. He explains everything so clearly and gives you the confidence you need without ever making you feel under pressure.

Not only is he an excellent instructor, but he's genuinely a top, lovely bloke who made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for someone who'll help you pass while actually enjoying the process, Theo is the one. Highly, highly recommended – thank you so much!

Theo was helpful, funny and patient. Always helped fitting me in around both our busy schedules and went above and beyond really in helping me learn to drive. He’s an amazing instructor, the lessons were well structured, gave clear ways to understand aspects within driving too and where to improve on after mock tests. If I could rate higher then I would he was that good, always a good laugh, welcoming and will miss our lessons. Would recommend Theo to anybody who’s wanting to learn to drive! Couldn’t have done it without him so thank you!

I passed my driving test today and my driving instructor theo was amazing character and has a great personality if you feel nerves he will take the nerves away I would recommend him for anyone in the future thank you again theo.

Fantastic experience- passed first time with Pradeep in avonmouth, only two minors. Would give 6 or 7 stars if I could, and would recommend to anyone looking for an instructor with total subject knowledge and test route experience who will push you constantly to reach the necessary level to pass your test in the time given, with a few laughs along the way 👍

At 36 I was nervous to learn to drive, especially after experiencing a few dodgy driving instructors over the years. Theo was great, always calm, giving really constructive feedback. Took me on lots of various routes, not just test routes and was really flexible around timings etc. which I also really appreciated. I passed first time and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Theo is an outstanding driving instructor and coach. My 17 year old son found him engaging, encouraging, supportive and inspiring. Lessons were personalised - and tailored to his needs - and he passed first time! We can't recommend him more highly. Thank you Theo for the amazing support!

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Theo. His knowledge is outstanding and his calm, patient approach made every lesson feel relaxed and manageable. Had a fantastic time learning to drive with Pradeep. He was calm, patient and our lessons were exceedingly productive and well paced. After 30 hours of lessons I managed to pass with one minor fault, and felt reasonably confident in my ability to pass the test after his lessons, which he adjusted to help shore up my weaker areas of driving before taking it.

I would recommend anyone learning to drive to learn with Pradeep, and will be recommending Bristol Intesives to others looking to learn how to drive in the future.

My instructor Robin was a brilliant instructor for me he was very patient with me and my driving, but more than that he was a very happy kind hearted person and I really enjoyed having him as my instructor I would definitely recommend him to people who are looking to start learning to drive

Had a great experience with Pradeep, the DVSA cancelled my original test which caused the lesson dates to be moved around but this was done promptly all be it slightly inconvenient that was at no fault of the intensive course and it does happen.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking to do intensive course Pradeep is a great instructor who made me feel comfortable and confident to pass!
