Polite and professional when enquiring about becoming an approved contractor for us

Let me tell you, reliable principal contractors ae hard to find. British Builders are one of the good ones left out there. Fast, fair payments keep my business running smoothly. They are also great at coordinating with the project phases smoothly, Which makes our jobs easier and the project flows more efficiently. I look forward to collaborating with them again on future projects, really happy working for them.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation with British Builders and I couldn't be happier. They listened to our vision and offered creative solutions that stayed within budget. The communication throughout the project was fantastic, and they kept us informed every step of the way. Most importantly, the finished product is stunning! Highly recommend it!

We were nervous about undertaking a new build extension, but British Builders put our minds at ease. They were upfront about costs and timelines, and their builders were professional and respectful of our home especially Muhammad, Alex and Adam. They finished the project on time and within budget, and the quality of the work is top-notch. We're thrilled with the results.

I hired them to refresh rental units and was impressed. They gave excellent advice, finished quickly, and out our tenants love the updates. The project minimized downtime. I'll definitely use them again!

Working with British Builders has been genuinely great. Not only are they well organised and keep the project on track, but their payments are always on time and accurate. No chasing invoices or worrying about my cash flow as a soletraman. Plus, their communication is excellent and always respectful of their team. Top marks all around.

The first job I did went pretty standard. Paid on time everything o.k.

The second job I did for them, we had some issues with the client raising issues that weren't to do with me, coupled with that they had some system issues and I wasn't paid in the time that I thought I would have been.

However.

Alex in the office was very professional and sorted me out and kept me in the loop through the entire process (thank you Alex). Eventually I was paid and they only went over our payment schedule by about a week or so.

So all in all not the worst company to work for in the end and again Alex thanks for sorting me out and keeping me assured that I would be paid this gave me piece of mind throughout the process.

Everything was handled great and payment made on time. No problems and great communication between my company and theirs.

Very quick and helpful! Fixed our problem in no time :)

Action was taken quickly (after 5 working days) according to UK standards (extremely slow compared to the country I am affiliated with). My boiler was leaking water to the wall and floor, they came and fixed it within 2 business days, the problem was solved, thank you.

However, the water flowing from the boiler damaged the structure of the wall, the wall started to peel and fall off, they did not take action on this issue / or I do not know if the real estate agent told me not to take action.

Utterly awful experience, the project manager and contractors are totally unconnected. The landlord in my case had provided consent to a quote for a roof fix, however, I had 4 more sets of roofers arrive to provide a quote resulting in no fix to the roof leak and a shining incompetence by the team. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Quality of work done was very good. And I’m happy with the final outcome.
However, there were few mixup in the materials ordered and delivery could have been planned much better.

The company were very professional and contacted me frequently to inform me when the work was gonna be completed and when the operative was due to arrive, the worker sent was very polite and friendly, he installed the cooker hob in a very timely manner I was really happy with the service

We were asked to install a CCTV system for British- Builders.com We were there for 1.5 days. We found it to be a pleasure to work as a contractors for Don and his team. Great business to do business with. Our invoices were paid promptly. Don is a person who shakes your hand and keeps his word. Jess is the dynamo that keeps every thing working. In all it was a pleasure to do business with British Builders. We would love to work with them again.
