Dear Kathleen,
Thank you for your review. The Mottura Blind that you ordered, unfortunately a vital part was out of stock for a long time (parts coming from Italy) which lead to some longer delay than expected.
Our team did update you on this on a regular basis and in sympathy a hamper was offered as a good will gesture and to thank you for your patience.
When we finally received the item unfortunately the spring inside the blind was snapped. A replacement sourced and we repaired in house and completed the installation beginning of December.
Apologies for this delay once again which was unforseen.

Remains a very highly recommended company by me
I have dealt with this company various times the past 20 years . Most recently Sept 2024 to replace kitchen and bathroom blinds. I went back to them because they always gave good service. Service and most recent products remain very good. Prompt efficient service. Their made to measure blinds last and work well and that is important to me. You get what you pay for.

Although we ordered a replacement blind from our original order, it seems that the wrong one was ordered from the manufacturer.
When it was replaced it was still a different fitting to the original but I made it fit.

Excellent pergola and service
Pergola: Excellent product, very good quality and finish. Has been keeping us dry when doing BBQ in heavy rain. We also enjoy the dimmable LED's. Plenty of light for cooking and then dimming down for sitting outside.
Service: from start to finish, very professional, detailed written quotes, good knowledge of what is possible or not (due to uneven wall and other minor issues with rainwater downpipes). Melissa has been very helpful in providing further info, and answering any questions in a timely manner.
Installation: excellent team, polite, efficient, tidy, knowledgeable.
There may be other pergolas in the market at a lower cost, however, this product is more bespoke / 'made to measure' in terms of size/height and finish.
We gathered four quotes and Broadview were not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. We felt they offered a good combination quality and cost.
Overall, very happy! thank you. Keep up the good work.

Awful after service care
Bought two very expensive awnings from Broadview, thinking I was buying both a quality product and a peace of mind service care. How wrong was I, as although my awning is still under warranty they want to charge me a non-refundable call out charge if £120 to repair, under warranty, my faulty awning. An absolute disgrace.

Thank you for your review Tony, Following communication with Mark he has discussed the possible scenarious and it is possible that battery failure which are consumable items as discussed and not product failure maybe the cause of the issue and you are checking or changing these as agreed. If this appears not to be the corrective solution a reprogram of the appropriate handset channel for that awning in question will need to be done.
We do accept that this could have been explained more clearly at the first point of contact.
