I’m extremely impressed with the service I received here. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and never pushy. They answered all my questions, helped me find the perfect car for my budget and made the paperwork quick and easy. The car is in fantastic condition. I would definitely buy from them again.

Brilliant service
I recently bought a 2016 1.4l Scirocco from BTS cars. It was priced perfectly and the car was in immaculate condition for its age. I was in contact with Richard. He left me to look around the car alone (so no pressure, which i really appreciated), and let me come to him when i was ready to test drive. Then left me to talk with my family to come to a decision. It was really relaxed and nowhere near as stressful as i initially thought it would be. The communication was brilliant and i’m so happy with my new car. I would recommend BTS cars to anyone looking for their next car. Thank you so much for all of your help throughout the process :)

Brakes and discs gone!
Got the car and when braking it had a grinding sound which turned out to be new brakes and discs required. My colleague Graham contacted BTS and was told that they were okay when the car left (still laughing at that one) so we got them done anyway and that'll be the last purchase from there!

Honestly the best place to buy a car from. Extremely honest people work there and they were very patient, answering all my silly questions. The car was prepared beyond my expectations, with a fresh service and MOT. Unlike others, they even help after the sale with great care and kindness, so the aftersales service is just as good as the sales

Bad Servicing, Poor After Sales.
Bought a car last month, the worst experience I’ve had buying a used car to date.
The cars are advertised as being serviced to main dealer standards. No checklist/paperwork was provided to advise what had been checked / serviced.
Within a day of having the car I found several things which needed attention, which should’ve been attended to before I bought the car.
The wipers were juddering across the windscreen, so needed replacing.
The cabin filter was absolutely filthy, full of dog hair too (was told the car was free of dog smell, it was actually stinking)
The retractable tow bar was jammed in place, needed freeing and lubricating.
The rearview mirror wasn’t attached to the windscreen on one side, needed removing / cleaning / reattaching.
The car was provided with no V5 and only 1 key, this wasn’t pointed out before my long journey down to view the car.
I woke up the day after buying the car early in the morning feeling really anxious, felt like a right idiot buying a car with no V5. It’s been a right hassle sorting things with the DVLA, car had no tax for several days so couldn’t be driven.
After reaching out about some of the issues BTS agreed to credit me for some (but not all) of the issues. I gave my bank details and was advised the payment would be sent. That was weeks ago, I chased it up 5 days ago and still no sign and no response.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations.
Firstly, we would like to clarify that all of our vehicles are prepared and checked prior to sale, however as with any used vehicle, some items such as wiper blades or cabin filters can deteriorate quickly and are considered wear and tear items rather than faults. That said, we did take your concerns seriously and agreed to contribute towards a number of the points you raised as a gesture of goodwill.
Regarding the V5 and key, these details are always available to be discussed prior to purchase, and we apologise if this was not clearly communicated on the day. We understand this may have caused inconvenience and appreciate your patience whilst resolving matters with the DVLA.
In relation to the agreed contribution, this has not been ignored and we are currently reviewing this internally. We apologise if there has been a delay in communication and will ensure this is followed up and resolved as soon as possible.
We always aim to provide a high level of service both before and after sale, and we are sorry this has not been your experience on this occasion.

Low APR, car as described if not better
Low APR, lower than main dealer! The car was prepped and ready. I applied for finance and got accepted in two minutes, signed the papers digitally in another two minutes and off I went…this was the quickest car purchase ever … smooth hassle free and super efficient. The car is extremely good and as described. (Even better tbf it was like new)

I had an exceptional experience with BTS Cars! Finding a quality used car can be daunting, but their team made the entire process smooth and transparent. The car I purchased was exactly as described, and the pricing was very fair.
What truly sets them apart, however, is their after-sales team. They were absolutely brilliant. I had a few questions after the purchase, and their responsiveness and willingness to help were outstanding. It's rare to find a company that maintains such a high level of customer care even after the sale is complete. Best Dealer in Derby!!
I recently bought a Cupra Formentor from this dealership, and I can honestly say the whole experience was flawless from start to finish. For a 3-year-old car, it was in *immaculate condition* clearly well looked after and prepped to a very high standard.
The *salesman was exceptional* friendly, professional, and most importantly, not pushy at all. He took his time to show us around the vehicle, explained all the features in detail while demonstrating them, and then left my wife and me to look over the car at our own pace. It made us feel completely comfortable and in control of the process.
We loved the car and decided to go ahead. The finance process was surprisingly quick and smooth approved within 20 minutes! To top it off, we were able to drive away the same day, which was a brilliant bonus.
Around six weeks later, we had a small issue with a sensor. I contacted the aftersales team, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They got us booked into a local garage within 24 hours and even offered us a courtesy car to keep things hassle-free. The issue was resolved quickly, and we were back on the road with zero stress.
This experience has completely restored my trust in used car dealerships. From the point of sale to the aftercare, they’ve been absolutely brilliant. They have a great selection of cars and a team that truly knows what they’re doing.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return for my next car even if they have to source it for me. Highly recommended! Thank you again to the whole team.
