Incredibly quick delivery and very good quality plants. I was very impressed.

Our 3 x Dierama arrived in pristine condition, big enough to make an immediate impression so price is very fair for this slow grower. Burncoose shipping tends to be pricey but our two recent orders required large and sturdy boxes - rather that than damage we've had with one or two companies. Fantastic plant catalogue, highly recommended growers.

The staff at Burncoose Nurseries found a camellia that was no longer on the website and had it packed and ready within a couple of hours and it arrived the following day in pristine condition. Thank you

I have rently bought a number of plants from them which have been healthy, well packed and have arrived on time. The plant finder feels a bit clunky but there is a wealth of useful information available on their website

Nursery that supplies those hard to find rarer shrubs and planta. Excellent quality and great to deal with. Used them for many years and hence would highly recommend them 😊

Efficient,good quality plants

After contacting Burncoose after noticing they had a postal charge of £13.50 I asked do you have a cheaper postage for people that want to order the odd plant .I received an email back pointing out the obvious I had already read on the site re stating the price structure. It seems Burncoose want you to order £50 worth or nothing at all .I find that a bit sad and I won't be pushed to buy £50 worth .They must be loosing a lot of business or maybe they have so much they can choose ? Either way it's sad when all other garden mail order companies charge £4.95 to £6.95 delivery .It seems like another Way to squeeze more profit and still it arrives in 3 to 5 days like Hermes . I don't need the plant that much.Maybe Rae at Burncoose could review his postage charges so many people im sure like me who want to do business with Burncoose will in the future be able too.C

Another remarkably speedy delivery (ordered Wednesday and part-delivered Friday) of quality plants. Excellent service!

If there was a minus then this is what this nursery would achieve. They try and associate themselves with the RHS but in reality are a poor quality nursery with poor quality customer service. If in doubt ....don't!

Firstly, the actual plants and the delivery timescale are very good. I bought interesting plants on sale so the plant prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, this company is badly let down by their couriers DX. The delivery charge at £13.50 for four plants is the highest I've come across for plant deliveries. In my experience it's typically about £6 to £8. The delivery charge was 22.5% of the total order cost. Given the charge, I expected an exemplary delivery experience. That's not what I got. I nominated my enclosed porch as the safe delivery place. This was completely ignored and the parcel was placed outside my obviously open and obviously outward opening porch door in full view of the street. The large parcel also blocked my porch door from opening further, which was an unwanted problem I had to solve. I was in at the time, so I know that the doorbell wasn't rung. DX are clearly very slapdash as the delivery instructions were printed on the label. I won't be buying from Burncoose again, with regret, as I rate the plants but their couriers just let them and me down.

I used Burncoose as one supplier in part of a much bigger planting project. Their product range was good and prices competitive. They did not have all the items in stock that they showed on the website but that seems common in the industry as other retailers had similar issues, presumably when they have a shop as well. What I did like is that Burncoose's communication was very good. I also liked that they offered the choice of a refund or to wait until the item returned to stock and dispatch the remaining items then. Not all of their competitors did that. All in all, a great experience.

Scammers

We bought a tree plant at the Hampton court flower show. They said they will deliver the plants within a week it’s has been 3 weeks and we haven’t received the plant . We contact them they told us there’s was a major delay on the plant . We asked for a refund and refuse to refund .
Stay away totally unprofessional and scammers .
We report the nursery to RHS organiser.

Diseased plant delivered last year (not a cheap one either). I raised concern straight away which was dismissed. Low and behold, new year comes round and the plant continues to show signs of disease.

Burncoose finally agree that it's diseased and agree to a refund within 3-5 working days. This is over a month ago and still no refund.

Joke of a company masquerading as a legitimate respectable nursery.
