Our experience with New Broad Street was disappointing, and I would not recommend their services from a buyer’s perspective.
We were in the process of purchasing a company, and although we were promised regular updates and support, communication dropped off significantly after the early stages. There was little effort to check in on our progress or provide guidance.
Despite acting in good faith, the sellers ultimately chose to proceed with another buyer after several weeks, causing a significant loss of time and money on our side. We were not informed directly, and no clear explanation was given. I can only assume delays in due diligence, caused by slow responses and missing information from the sellers, contributed.
Overall, this was a frustrating experience that fell short of the professionalism we expected. Whilst I cannot comment on Vijay’s work with sellers, from a buyer’s perspective, I cannot recommend their services.

On my first meeting with Kevin I was confident he was the right person to help me secure an offer for my business. He’s very approachable, knowledgeable and professional in his approach.
During the process he was there for every interested party for viewings and screening any necessary questions - leaving you to run the business and only contacting you with serious buyers.
Once an offer was secured, this is where his professionalism really came to the fore. Any agent can get an offer but Kevin got the deal over the line communicating with all professional bodies until the funds had landed in my account.

Charlotte was the second agency I worked with after the first one tied me into a 15-month contract without achieving any results. I was hesitant to trust another company, but out of all the agencies, Charlotte was the only one who actually came to meet me at my café. She was upfront and realistic about the potential sale price for the café, without promising inflated figures. From the start, everything felt reasonable. The contract was just 6 months, and Charlotte assured me the café would be sold within that time frame. She was right; within 5 months, I had around 5 offers. When a very low offer came in, she immediately advised me against it. Despite being incredibly busy, she always made time to reassure me, help me, and answer any questions I had throughout the whole sale process. Thank you, Charlotte, for everything!
