Useless and frustrating

Useless, frustrating product. First of all, I can’t seem to exhale strong enough to make the device vibrate. Second of all, I didn’t use the device for one week and then it locked me out. In order to use the device you’re supposed to open up the useless, expensive, app which adds nothing therapeutic. I’m sorry, but if I’m having a panic attack I don’t want to have to pull out my phone and open the app and then have to re-sync the device every time. I want so badly to return this device and get a refund for the app subscription

Thank you for sharing your experience. I apologize for any confusion about the way CalmiGo works. Rather than exhaling strongly into the device, you gently exhale into it. Then CalmiGo senses your breathing and guides you to slower, gentler inhales and exhales.

The device does not lock after one week, but it does temporarily lock after two weeks if the device hasn’t synced with the app. This is to encourage you to sync the device with the app so that the app can calibrate to your breathing as well as track your progress and results.

To unlock the device is very easy. You simply turn on the CalmiGo device and open the app. The two will sync, and you’ll be all set for the next 2 weeks.

As long as the device and app are synced, you do not need to have the app open to use your CalmiGo.

CalmiGo takes time to get used to and is absolutely worth it!!!

I love my CalmiGo! I'm 30 and I've had bad anxiety since I was a little kid. I've suffered from panic attacks for most of my life and just every day anxiety as well. I also have OCD, ADHD, as well as possible PMDD, and a slew of phobias as well, including driving. I have tried a lot of methods of help, therapists and medications, so this is not my first rodeo at all- however I was never consistent about my breathing exercises. I've had this device for about a week and a half and I was unsure of CalmiGo at first. It honestly made me feel a little lightheaded and after after a support phone call with Aleks, they reminded me to breathe "longer not stronger" and we came to the conclusion that I was breathing too hard into the device, which is apparently a common experience for new users, such a simple thing really made a tremendous difference for me. I've also realized that I breathe better while I'm not using it as well! I see the difference of less panic in my every day life and more confidence that I can leave the house and that is worth its weight in gold. I love using CalmiGo as a daily part of my routine.

Tl;dr- Get CalmiGo! It's worth it! Just be patient because it takes some getting used to, don't write it off when it doesn't work immediately, keep using it, it's like using a muscle, it will get stronger!

Life Changing tool for Anxiety attacks

I’m a mom of a teenager who has been trying to manage his anxiety. In particular he struggles with anxiety at night and presents with racing heart and anxiety/panic attacks. To anyone reading this who is struggling or moms if you have an anxious child, this device has been life changing. It has helped manage his anxiety and calm down and get to sleep. He feels in control of his anxiety with this wonderful tool. The app and the device together work in harmony and really teach/coach them how to do the breathing and gives them the skills to calm down. If you’re in doubt about this product do not think twice - it has helped us immensely! We have been using it for one year and are renewing for a second year without a doubt. In addition, my teen recently got a new phone and experienced some issues logging back into the app when redownloaded on the new device. The calmigo support team was incredibly efficient and provided support on email and by phone to get us back up and running. Extra big thank you to Paul for his patience! This company and its device is truly one of a kind. Thank you calmigo!

Product STILL has not arrived

I continue to receive emails with activation codes, how to videos, and questions about how I like the product but it has yet to arrive. At this point, it is 3 days past when it said it would arrive.

Calmigo truly believes in their product and stands behind it.

Easy order. They keep you well informed of shipping and delivery date. They aim to please and make you very familiar with the product prior to receipt. There is an app to back up the product. Help is always available to get you started and answer questions. Wonderful customer service team.

Disaster Response

My calmigo proved instrumental in maintaining my calmness, presence, and awareness while volunteering at Mystic Camp in South Texas, where we recovered missing children's property to return to their parents. Keeping my calmigo in my pocket allowed me to recover efficiently and maintain my composure while sorting through the girls' property and meeting with some of their parents. I wish to express my appreciation for receiving my calmigo about a month ago from my exceptional VA doctor and team. By incorporating it into my Alpha Stim cranial electrotherapy routine, I have achieved improved recovery during training and a greater sense of balance, with promising results.

CalmiGo honest review - please read

I am NOT a person that takes the time to write reviews. However, I can't begin to fully tell you how much the addition to CalmiGo into my life has helped already. I've only had my device for about a week but I can already tell a difference in my resting pulse rate and my mood. My overall level of stress has been lowered and I'm VERY optimistic about future benefits.

I reached out to CalmiGo support, just to let them know how things were going and to report the benefits that I was seeing. I didn't have a question or anything. I really just wanted to let them know "thank you." To my pleasant surprise, the support team wrote me back. Not a form letter. Not a canned response. An actual human being took time to write me a personal and thoughtful response. So not only do I endorse the product itself, but the entire organization as a whole.

This has helped me so many times in…

This has helped me so many times in different situations!!! I take a daily med for anxiety but will still have a panic attack.

At first I was a little skeptical on whether or not this would work. The 1st time I tried it, I was AMAZED at how quickly it took the edge off and helped me to start calming down!!!

DEFINITELY ask your provider to order this for you!!!

Calmigo trial feedback after 1 week

Hi, I am just getting started and need more time to evaluate. I like having a device to use as it make me think of an inhaler. I also like the sounds paled in the app. One thing I am not crazy about is the noise the app makes when the 3 minutes are up. I wish the music sound would just stop so that I don't have to hear the ding. It disrupts my peacefulness a little. I like the game!

We wanted to make sure you knew that could turn off the sound the app makes when you finish a 3 minute session. On the timer screen in the lower right hand corner, there is an icon that looks like a bell. If you press that icon, you can turn off the sound the app makes at the end of a three minute session.

It took less than two weeks to receive…

It took less than two weeks to receive my device from the VA. CalmiGo sent detailed information on how to request from my provider and great follow up once received. It’s an easy to use and works wonders.

After suffering from anxiety for 4+…

After suffering from anxiety for 4+ years, tried medication and having medication anxiety didn't help. After being reading reviews and seeing the benefits I wanted to give it a try. The process was amazing and they take FSA/HRA. I got my device and used it, was by far the best chose I've made to deal with my anxiety. The best purchase I've ever made. Please if you suffer give this device a try.

When you purchase using your FSA/HSA card, our priority is to ensure a smooth process and to confirm that your FSA plan covers the purchase. At this time, the Lifetime Plan available on our website is the only plan eligible for this type of payment. We are actively working to get our subscription plans approved for FSA/HSA use as well, but they have not yet been approved, as previously shared by our support team along with a refund offer.
