Paid almost $500. 7 days went by. It was a Christmas present. No video was created. Cameo is a joke of a business. They aren't gong to survive.

Had to post a review because after I'd placed an order I checked TP only to see the shocking rating which scared me. I needn't have feared because my video from Edoardo Mortara came - I kid you not - within ten minutes of submitting the request. And I didn't pay for the faster option so he had 7 days to do it. Amazing service from this guy at least.

I purchased 4 cameos and the requests were all either expired or cancelled.

You stated that the hold would be released from my card if I do not receive the cameos, however the charges went through on my bank credit card statement.

I see that credits have been issued to my cameo account. I do not want this.

I read your website more and saw that we should request refunds through Apple. This is contradictory to your initial claims about holds.

I attempted to request refunds through Apple and my requests were declined.

Please process a refund manually on your end.

This is a horrendous service, don’t bother. I put a 24 hour reservation in on the 1st of June which wasn’t fulfilled. I said fine just do it in the regular time and that was not fulfilled. Then I rebooked again (which I don’t know why you have to wait another 5-7 days) and that wasn’t fulfilled! What is this! Now I’m an entire week after my wife’s birthday with the only status updates from them are saying my request isn’t done. Even their refund is 5-7 days! This is my first and likely last time using this service.

I cannot establish ANY response from your Cameo Website, Messenger or Email therefore I am attempting to contact you directly in desperation. I paid a paltry £4 (£5 on the App)to send a Alan AB Partridge DM to ask a question asking what was allowed and not allowed as a Personal Message - because Business ones are prohibitively more expensive. Four days later no reply. No responses to emails. Or Messenger texts. Not a bad way to earn a crust is it? You boast about refunds for dissatisfaction. I’ll say good luck with that. Fortunately it’s only four quid this time.
A shame because Alan AB Partridge sounds fantastic and great value-but not much cop if it’s four quids worth of nowt! I only wanted to ask him if a Personal Message I wanted to include my Youtube Channel name purely for non profit purposes would be ok as opposed to a full blown and unnecessary Business version.
If agreed then I would’ve paid the Personal Message fee and all sorted.
No reply. No re credit of the initial £4.00. Are things that financially bad at Cameo? Very doubtful.

Trash. If they can't get a D-list Instagrammer to come through on an order, there are no checks and balances here. On the very last day, you'll receive a "sorry, not sorry" email that they're too busy to record your expensive 30 seconds. Disappointed and aggravated. I should have read other reviews beforehand, so that's on me. Buy that backup gift. If you purchase a Cameo, I guarantee you'll need it

It’s a scam. Not worth it. They allow people to send you 4 second videos and they make you pay $3 to reach out to the person you received a video from.

Allows Pedophiles on their site as long as they’re making money. Disgusting excuse for a company they’re well aware of Paul breach and his inappropriate behaviour with minors but they’re refusing to address or acknowledge it because he gives them revenue!!!

Cameo has been made very aware of a certain ‘content creator’ who exhibits grooming and predatory behaviour, bullies other content creators, doxes people and specifically uses his platform to actively groom young women. Yet Cameo refuse to remove them because they don’t BREACH their terms of service… even though there are multiple inappropriate videos circulating online that he’s made for underage girls. Even a quick google will show how concerning his behaviour is. He is a huge danger to young women and minors and needs to lose his platform!

Do not but Cameos, hugely over priced, customer service just ignores you and even after being sent damning evidence about one of their creators they have allowed them to stay on their site! They only want your cash and have nothing in place for the safety of vulnerable people.

Disgraceful booked a cameo with Catherine Bell -- NOTHING arrived as yet and I am not expecting it to now I have read all the experiences - cost me a lot of my pension to get it and no explanation even though she has done cameo's in the last few days - nothing for me. Of course no money back either. Disgusting company never use again. Finally got a video - rushed and said nothing - all of 47 seconds. What a stuck up celebrity she is. Disgraceful.

Booked a birthday cameo with Robert Carradine, as requested for my son . The 7-day term expired and was cancelled, with no video. Customer service said 'sometimes life happens' and that I could rebook, so I did, and another week passed with no result. Now 2 weeks past my son's birthday, I have nothing to show. Previously had successfully booked a Cameo with Kevin McDonald from Kids in the Hall for my brother's birthday. Kevin was someone my brother adored (we used to, too) and the video was horrifyingly disturbing. (He seems to need therapy.) Absolutely terrible experience with this company.

Appalling service.
Spent alot of time looking through who was available and within what time frame so that I could have this in time for my sons birthday. Booked and of course paid. But less than a week before my sons birthday they send an email saying that it could not be done in time! I then tried to book someone else and they charged me an extra £35 to make sure I could get it in time as I had 'left it too late'. What an absolute joke of a company. Had no choice really but to use them for this but I will NEVER use them again. Spend your money elsewhere, at least you will get something for it.

Stumbled across this website by accident but I have to say I'm very impressed with it! As a 90s child myself, I naturally grew up loving Kenan & Kel, Saved By The Bell, Sister Sister etc - 90s kids TV was the bomb (as they used to say lol).. many moons later, my daughter is a huge fan of Game Shakers and Kenan & Kel - thanks to all the streaming services, so was pleasantly surprised and excited to find Kel on Cameo.
Just received the sweet birthday message from Kel for my daughters upcoming 9th birthday and honestly I feel ecstatic and emotional and you Kel, are a sweetheart and a LEGEND!!! Only bad news is I'll have to wait till August to find out my daughter's reaction lol

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews but I have used Cameo.com for my sons birthday for birthday shoutouts and I received my shoutout with no issues. They have a ton of great celebrities and influencers who offer shoutouts to your loved ones to make someone's day. It can be quite overpriced and most of the time a lot of people are unavailable but it's a fun service to try.

I never leave bad reviews. But i'm beyond disgusted and mortified that this company is collaborating with a person like "Simon Leviev". I think it is utterly heartless and inconsiderate of his victims.

Waste of time and money. I booked a cameo costing £144.99 for my husband as a birthday gift. It’s now a week later and it’s expired, so not only do I have no gift for my husband, but I’ll have to wait another 5-7 days for the money to reappear. Very disappointed.

Still no response. Maybe a review per day may encourage the company to reply.

You get whatever rubbish video is created. Got all the names wrong, the person it was for and mine and got the genders wrong too. You pay for useless videos. Waste of money and good luck.

Purchased a video and it got declined and refunded as credits in app instead of refunding to my payment method. Complete scam
