Poor service!

Please be careful with Cameron Homes selling you the dream of living in a semi-rural development that will also contain residents from a housing association. I bought from Cameron nearly 2 years ago and for 2 years it has been horrible to live here, and my mental health has really deteriorated. Just be mindful when purchasing about the position of your homes and what you think the "dream" will actually be like. I am fully aware Cameron have no choice but to also build affordable housing but it seems they have no liability to check the housing associations vetting processes will be suitable for the development.

Pleasant and quick process when purchasing my first home with Cameron Homes. Hannah, Amy and Mac were the ones who I spoke to the entire time and can’t fault the service given. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable people that have helped with anything regarding my property. Love the location here at Lawnswood, and build quality on the house is very good also. Overall very happy and recommend Cameron Homes, especially here at Lawnswood

I've got no idea where to start, but our experience with Cameron Homes has been beyond fantastic. I've got to say a huge, huge thank you to Tiana at the Mapperley Meadows site, who has gone above and beyond since our very first visit to ensure our experience has been top tier. As we were buying our first house, I had a billion and one questions (yep - I'm that person!) and Tiana has been amazing - professional, unbelievably helpful, very quick to reply to all emails/texts with anything I've requested (and if she didn't have the answer, she spoke to the relevant person within the technical team or commercial team to get the answer for me straight away). She's a joy to work with and speak to, and through some of the stresses of moving into our first home and navigating a couple of challenges on our end, Tiana was there to support every step of the way. I cannot fault the experience we've had so far, and a huge part of that is due to how fantastic Tiana has been. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much!!

Although I am still in the process of buying a property at Cameron builders, Mapperley Meadows, Nottingham, the outstanding service I am receiving to date is brilliant. I have asked numerous questions during the buying process. Tiana and Rob are excellent in their willingness to please and assist. Thank you so much!

We brought a house in Staffordshire it was built by Cameron homes they also own the land and use a management company to run it.
Unfortunately the estate has not been upkept and in fact the contracts are not legal. This means Centric the management company so not keep with the upkeep of the estate and also the fees have more than doubled in 4 years.
Best thing is because of the contract mess no one owners actually have to pay either.
So the estates a mess and we can't actually pay a maintenance fee as there is no contract.
People's house were wired up to the street lighting. We have a brooke that was blocked one end by Chasetown which is owned by Cameron and houses flooded.
We are all stuck in limbo as we can sell either as.no DOV. I would run a mile if you want to buy from these. This is going to cost the residents 10s of thousands to sort just in legal fees. That's before we even get the estate back to a good standard.

Cameron Homes as a whole have been absolutely brilliant. After visiting many properties, it’s clear that the level of detail and quality they offer truly stands out above the rest. We would highly recommend them, as the homes they develop are truly stunning and perfectly complement the beautiful locations they choose.

Extremely dissatisfied with the construction quality delivered by Cameron House.

The level of workmanship is shockingly poor and entirely unacceptable for a new-build property. From the moment I received the keys, it became clear that the house had been completed in a rushed, careless, and unprofessional manner.

The defects include, but are not limited to:
• Large sections of missing grout
• Uneven and poorly finished walls
• Substandard bathroom installation
• Bath incorrectly fitted
• Bath panel installed improperly
• Shower enclosure badly positioned and insecure
• Silicone and grout missing in multiple areas
• Significant issues with the extraction/ventilation system
• Boiler fitted inside the kitchen cabinet in such a way that the engineer was unable to carry out the annual gas safety check — a serious and unacceptable safety concern

These issues demonstrate a complete lack of proper quality control and oversight. The property feels as though it was constructed with minimal effort simply to hand it over quickly, with no regard for safety, durability, or even the most basic building standards.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to think very carefully before trusting Cameron House with their new-build home. The quality delivered is far below what any buyer should expect.

Absolutely over the moon with the whole experience. Tracy (sales advisor), and the rest of the team (Tom and Helen) have been nothing short of excellent throughout the whole process. Constant updates throughout, plenty of information, and always friendly and helpful. Myself, my wife, and kids have been in for a week now and we love our stunning new home! A couple of small snags as you'd expect with any new build, but nothing major. After buying an Avant new build home nearly 4 years ago, the difference in professionalism, both the staff and the house, is night and day. We would recommend Cameron homes to anyone looking for a new build property

I’ve had a brilliant experience with Cameron Homes from start to finish.
Kiran, the sales manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire purchase process. Nothing was too much trouble, every question was answered quickly, and she always made time to ensure everything was clear and stress-free. Her professionalism and genuine friendliness made a big difference for me and my wife.

After moving in, Mike, the site manager, has been just as excellent. He has been understanding, approachable, and always happy to help. Any queries have been dealt with quickly, and he’s consistently gone the extra mile to support us.

As a wheelchair user, accessibility is extremely important, and I was treated with kindness, understanding, and respect at every stage. My needs were taken seriously, and I felt listened to throughout.

Overall, Cameron Homes has delivered great service, a wonderful home, and great people. I highly recommend them.

I moved into a Cameron home in February 2025 and have had to contact customer services on the odd few times …I have always gone through
Jodie Corrick customer coordinator with any issues and she has always been so obliging ..always replied and dealt with my issues swiftly and kept me updated via email ..really happy with my home and the Technicians who have always been quick to put problems right..all technicians that have visited my home have been really polite and helpful

Been in the property just over a year, and would say initially, we loved it, but with the new builds next to us being built its been very testing.
(Noise has been relentless) Front drive dug up, rear garden a mess, not bothering to rectify the work sufficiently and the damage they made that has been left is unacceptable. After repeated requests, they just forget the snags, and concentrate on their new projects, they just cant be bothered. Be warned people if you're buying from these.

Although we’re still waiting on a few final touches, we couldn’t be happier with our new home. We’re incredibly grateful to Chloe Taylor for her support and guidance throughout the process. Her dedication and genuine care truly made all the difference. Thank you so much!

Chloe from sales was helpful at every stage. Chloe gave good advice throughout and also advised on different colour options and customer extras.

The house is beautiful, well set out and a very high specification. Very pleased.

Home demo was in depth and Aid was brilliant.

Recommend to anyone looking for a high quality new build home.

After a disappointing time dealing with Cameron homes regarding our kitchen Shannon Wallace - customer service manager became involved and we are so pleased she did. She had a clear plan that has been adhered to at every step. Her communication has been excellent. We are very thankful to her for getting everything sorted for us. We would also like to thank Dan who has also been great.

Been in nearly 2 years and they haven’t finished original snag list, do anything to get out of fixing issues, poor attitude once they have your money. Poor quality materials, poorly executed. Be careful if they are still working on site as they have no awareness of health and safety are noisy and cause damage to estate and do not clean up afterwards. None of there staff should be customer facing based on our interactions.

Our experience with the customer care team has been brilliant! Jodie, Dan and Donna have been extremely helpful and responsive with all our queries since we moved in. The service is very responsive, professional and supportive - nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you so much and having the support and reassurance of Cameron Homes Customer Care makes moving house so much less stressful - definitely recommend Cameron Homes and their after care support and service :-) .
