Used this company for my schnauzer Frankie and I can't thank them enough! We had been struggling for months with her obedience, she would not listen to any commands in the home and was a nightmare on lead. She is now a completly different dog! Canine evolution went above and beyond 10/10 recommend

I hate to leave this review here, but I feel Canine Evolution has a level of responsibility in our experience.

We reached out to CE regarding our aggressive St. Bernard and concerns for the safety of our smaller dog. They introduced us to Megan, who then contacted us separately—outside of the company—to take both our dogs on a training course for a discounted price. Unfortunately, we accepted, which meant we had no security for the £3,000 we paid her in cash.

Megan had our St. Bernard for a month and our Cockapoo for two weeks. I can honestly say it was the biggest waste of money. She promised regular updates, but communication was sparse and unclear about any progress. Now, three months after having them back, nothing has changed. Our St. Bernard is just as reactive as before, and we’ve had multiple incidents where she has gone for our smaller dog.

I reached out to Megan over Christmas to arrange a call—no response. The times she did reply in the past, it took ages, and the advice she gave was nothing more than generic tips I could find on YouTube. That’s not what we paid £3,000 for.

I’m sorry to post this on CE’s Trustpilot, but people should be aware of our experience. We’re now significantly out of pocket and unable to afford the help we still desperately need. Our vet advised against sending her away, saying dogs often revert to their old behavior once home—I wish we had listened.

Megan has truly done exceptional work with Lilly ( daschund) puppy training. Totally different dog with her behaviours but still the same personality of a lovable puppy. Took the time to see what our needs as a family were, and added some additional bits to help my autistic son. Updates when asked and also kept Lilly an additional few days as not quite up to where Megan wanted her to be before coming home, at no additional cost. Had also confirmed will be available any time for advice. Truly remarkable company!!

Megan and team have looked after my two border collies for the last 3 years whenever we go on holiday. She picks them ip and drops them off and my two go nuts when they see her! Every time! Their affection for her is very clear and that is what makes me so happy to have them stay with her every time. We have booked 2 week slots and longer at 4 weeks when we have been away in the Summer! I highly recommend!!

Tom really helped us out when our resident dog and new rescue dog were struggling to get along. He gave us some really useful tips and advice which helped the dogs settle in each others company and also helped us as this is our first rescue. Tom has helped us out with issues such as food reactivity, separation anxiety and training, would definitely recommend! Thanks again Tom!

Tom was great with helping our new rescue dog socialise with our other dog. His instructions and aftercare were clear. New dog settled in well and current dog soon got used to a new presence in the house.
Both dogs are now well socialised and on their way to being close friends! Would highly recommend!

Due to issues we were experiencing with our 1.5 year old dog (reactivity towards children and other dogs) we sought out help from Canine Evolution and ultimately arranged for four weeks of residential intensive training with Megan. We are absolutely delighted with the results Megan was able to achieve; our dog has come back to us noticeably calmer and less reactive to things that previously triggered a stress reaction in her. Megan also provided regular updates and continues to provide assistance even after the conclusion of the training, and we will be forever grateful for what she has been able to achieve. 10/10 service and results, would not hesitate to recommend for anyone who requires professional training support for dog behavioural issues.

My cocker spaniel had developed seemingly ‘aggressive’ behaviour with both dogs and humans, any slight movements would send his anxiety spiralling. I had tried my best with his training at home and also tried several behaviourists/trainers in my local area - to no avail. I felt I had almost given up with my dog until I had been given the recommendation by a friend to try this dog boarding company. I enquired and Megan gave me a call shortly after, we a had a long phone conversation and Megan answered all of my questions/concerns as I obviously had concerns about leaving my dog with a ‘stranger’ especially after seeing so many trainers with no success! I felt completely confident after the call and after 4 weeks of Megan training him, I can completely see all of the hard work Megan has put into him! He is confident as ever and Megan has given me a comprehensive training plan that I can’t wait to put into action. Best decision I have ever made for my dog!

I felt so comfortable with Tom taking chole home to train if I had a question he was there regular updates chole was so happy and meeting new friends chole is still doing well and we are on top of choles training since being back would defo recommend absolutely fantastic

Amazing company! They took in my human and dog aggressive mastiff Tilly and she’s a completely different dog. Our trainer kept us informed throughout the process and was so knowledgeable about the breed. Would definitely recommend!

We will 100% be using them again for boarding and the occasional top up training session

It’s taken us a number of weeks to feel strong enough to make this review due to the upset we have experienced with this company.
I’ll begin with the positives, the company were very quick to accommodate us for training for our puppy and were responsive to getting us booked in. The admin person was friendly and helpful and we were sent all the information upfront about what we could expect from the 3 week training we have booked. This should have included: sit, stay, down, watch me, heel, recall & house manners.
Sadly what we were contracted to receive, we didn’t gain and the video footage we have evidenced this in abundance.
The website and email details stated we would get daily updates, this did not happen and we even contacted them to query why, to which we received a response saying this would be fed back to the trainers manager. This was distressing for us not knowing if our puppy was ok and how the training was progressing. The updates thereafter came every few days and were always the same content of our puppy being walked along a narrow pathway on a slip lead. We didn’t want to cause a fuss as felt surely the trainer knows what they’re doing and we’ll see the results when she’s home.
Our puppy came home with far too much food, based on the amount we had advised in our application that we feed her, bearing in mind she needed 3 feeds a day. Our vet advised us she had dropped weight/condition and she was covered in a dusty coating and shedding a lot. We believe she was kept in boarding kennels for the 3 week period, despite being told she would be in a home setting as per the website, had we of known this we would never have sent her away due to her breed, who are prolifically known for not coping in boarding kennels. We never received one photo/video of her in a home setting, always kennel surroundings or enclosed dog fields.
The only video proof we had of any progress was with lead work, which we later discovered was due to the slip lead used to physically restrict our large breed puppy. This was tightened so much around her neck she would have struggled to breath fully, so much she would have been in discomfort and therefore would have done anything she was told to get the situation over with. Our vet advised us to stop using the slip lead immediately due to the damage this can cause to a Doberman’s long neck. This shows a lack of knowledge on the trainers part, being they are supposed to be the experts, not us.
Our girl came home very quiet and sullen which we thought was just her settling back in, however it has taken us 2 months of hard work and rebuilding of trust to get her back to her loving, content self. She now walks beautifully on lead without using forceful methods.
My advice to anyone considering this company, put your money to better use and go with a reputable company that specialise in the breed you have and most importantly keep you updated everyday on how your beloved pooch is doing, in a home setting with cuddles on a sofa and an environment they will thrive in.

I sent my puppy for a 2 week training course with Canine Evolution, we had trouble with his constant biting and jumping on the sofa, the chairs and trying to grab food etc.
He was also not fully dry and would make a mess during the night.

During the 2 weeks we got amazing videos and pictures guiding us through the training progress and this is particularly helpful as we can watch these again and again when facing the same issues. Our puppy came back happy, dry and we are a week in and he is still not biting or jumping up. He is now sleeping in a crate and very happy to so so,
We have the tools to train him and keep him happy. I can warmly recommend Megan and her team to anyone in need of help with training or just boarding, my pup had a blast and he will be looking forward to going back again he also meet other dogs and is very well socialised now! A win win.

I had an aggressive dog - a Romanian rescue. We were allocated a lady called Megan to help us. She specialises in Romanian rescue dogs (plus a ton of other stuff) and the difference is amazing. I’m totally shocked.
Megan IS the dog whisperer. At drop off, our other dog, who is completely bonkers mad and frisky just sank at her feet in seconds, calm as anything. Genius. Worth every penny.

Honestly I've had the worst experience with this dog training company. I would not recommend this company at all I'd of been better off flushing £2400 down the toilet. No owner training no aftercare.

In response to the company's reply. All a pile of rubbish, I just want to warn other dog owners not to go with is company.
I appreciate I just sound like an unhappy customer so if anyone chooses to use this company I would advise to contact Isle of ely veterinary surgery who has had multiple complaints about this company, Woodgreen also and local dog training company's around ely have also confirmed this company has no idea what there doing the lady mentioned I didn't continue with Reggie training that's because the company didn't give me any owner training until I complained. Since Reggie has come back from they're "training" he has attacked 2 other dogs and my partner, leave 1 of those dogs needing surgery......... pretty sure thats not an rehabilitate dog.

We can highly recommend Canine Evolution. We were feeling apprehensive and nervous about sending our 4 month old Springer Spaniel away for 2 whole weeks but there really was no need. Our trainer Tom was great with Benji, and he had his own Springer Spaniel which immediately put our minds at rest as we knew that he was experienced in training our specific type of dog. Tom worked on the things that we wanted Benji to focus on such as toileting, recall, lead walking, and general obedience. Tom kept us informed of Benji’s progress and sent us daily videos and photos which was great to see. Since coming home Benji is much more obedient and follows basic commands really well. JO met me and instantly put me at ease. I was giving my 4 month puppy to her.. xhe explained everything she was going to do..I got updates and videos every day and outside of this Jo is available to talk to..she is professional at her job..but also understanding that owners get anxious that there pup is away.. she is fantastic..xxxi love her x

Mollie was professional & very personable. She listened to our concerns & concentrated on some areas of Merlin’s training that we requested. We had daily updates & videos & this helped put our minds at ease as this is the first time we have used this type of training.

Mollie was clearly passionate re:training dogs & it was clear Merlin was at ease.
Since his return home it has been clear that his training has been successful & people have commented how well behaved & calm he is.

I would definitely recommend Mollie & would not hesitate to use her again.

When I first got in touch with Canine Evolution Ltd, I was honestly ready to give up. I didn't feel that my puppy could be trained and was really at the end of my rope. From the beginning, they were very helpful and didn't make me feel like I had failed. Since my puppy has been back, she has been on her best behaviour. I honestly didn't think she would come back a completely different pup but she is so much calmer. Even after training they stay in touch with you and I can still call and message for advice. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone who needs help training their pup/dog.

Kim took our American Bull Dog Scout for 2 weeks and we are absolutely delighted by the results. He no longer pulls on the lead, has stopped jumping up on people and generally just has manners!!! We got updates everyday and WhatsApp videos to show his progress. Next time we go on holiday we will be asking Kim to dog sit and give him a little refresher. He was with other dogs and looked happy in all the videos. Great experience all round and we would definitely recommend them to others. Great Work Kim thank you so much!!!!

Canine Evolution are a brilliant dog training company and we totally trust them with boarding our dog too.
Our nervous and reactive Dobie has stayed with Megan several times and has come back happy and with better behaviour. Megan does a detailed handover so we can enforce the training. Megan is also a complete animal lover and is kind, positive and our dog gets the best care. She even threw a little birthday party for our dog when she was there.
She sends regular updates and works with a fab team of professional trainers so can cover all areas of training. We are sending our dog back for boarding this summer and we know she will have a great time and be well cared for whilst we are away.
