When i ordered the price for a bottle of sweet lucy was 19.99 a bottle and i ordered a case of 6 for 119.00. I also paid for shipping protection for 4.95, and shipping 30.38 which came to a total of 155.32 When I received my order I only received1 bottle and now when you go on there site the case is no longer available but you can buy singles for that price. What a scam Sweet lucy sells all day between 20.00 and 35.00. I sent them an e-mail still haven"t heard back . Why would i pay 155.00 for ! bottle. Buyer beware

Lost the item and blamed me
Lost the item after no clear communication how long it would even take to ship. They were quick to take my money and then blamed me for not buying this insurance or that insurance… Do not use them!!
Re: No, it wasn't resolved because you didn't let me cancel it. Replacing something late is not a resolution.

This company has ROBBED ME OF 57.00 because of I paid $119.00 for 2 orders and never received it, so now I receive my refund of $48.00. Lessons learned, never again will I deal with Cask Cartel again. Please don’t order from this company

Terrible place to buy from
Terrible place to buy from. Look at all the negative reviews. It’s comical for them to post their good rating when they have deleted bad reviews when they can. I know because I wrote some and later they got deleted. My last experience I found 2 difficult to find bottles and decided to order a 3rd “common” whiskey just to save a little on shipping. Well lo and behold they couldn’t fulfill the order so they sat on it for 29 days then sent me the overpriced common whiskey and charged me the full shipping cost. They fulfilled 1 bottle because they would have to cancel my order if it’s greater than 30 days. Pretty much a scam that they claim they have some things in stock.

Expired Product and Refused Refund
Purchased a beer set from them and it arrived after the sell by date. It was a $400 set and they offered a credit of less than 25% and refused a refund. They fabricated information during my credit card dispute. Stay away from this place

Recently, I encountered a significant issue with Cask Cartel that has left me concerned about their business practices and customer service ethos. Upon placing an order, I immediately realized a mistake and attempted to cancel it within five minutes—a reasonable expectation, I believed, for rectifying such errors. However, the response I received was not only unhelpful but unexpectedly adversarial, including threats to contact my credit card company and references to a rigid "policy" that was neither transparent nor easy to find prior to purchase.

This experience revealed to me a profound lack of flexibility and understanding in cask Cartel's approach to customer service, which seems to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and resolution. Their insistence on enforcing this policy, without room for discussion or understanding, was disheartening.
In addition to these concerns, further investigation into Cask Cartel has raised alarming issues about their legitimacy and business practices. The physical address listed on their website, upon verification, appears to be fake, adding a layer of deceit to their operations. This discovery alone is troubling, but what compounds the issue is that Cask Cartel has also received a cease and desist order from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC), indicating serious legal and regulatory disputes.
Furthermore, I took it upon myself to research the company further and found a concerning number of one-star reviews from other customers who had similarly disappointing experiences. These reviews often highlighted a lack of resolution and dissatisfaction with the company's responses, which appeared formulaic and unaccommodating.
Given these experiences and discoveries, I feel it is my responsibility to advise caution people. While I understand that every company may have dissatisfied customers, the pattern of negative feedback, combined with deceptive practices and legal issues, is extremely troubling.
I encourage you to read these reviews and consider them in your decision-making process. It is important to support businesses that not only provide quality products and services but also uphold high standards of customer care, transparency, and legal compliance.

Stay far away. It really is a "cartel", taking your money...
Stay far away from this company who has the audacity to place, on basically every page, a notice that "Many other small liquor store sites will end up canceling your order due to the high demand, unavailability or inaccurate inventory counts." They do certainly stand by the we won't cancel your order part, but they also won't ship it for 2-3+ weeks and counting.
They are seemingly talking about themselves, as this place knowingly and willingly advertises items as being available and in stock, yet still over a week later, my order has not been shipped. They also love to use "business days". They last time I checked, liquor stores are open 7 days a week, and shippers ship at least 6 or even all 7 of those.
You reach out to their terrible customer service people who simply provide you non-specific information and policies that have nothing to do with the status of your specific order. Plus they insult your intelligence by "educating" you that they are "marketplace" and rely on individual retailers (the same ones the took digs at in their "notice"), like we do not know how they operate. As a marketplace, it is still your responsibility to ensure your individual retailers are properly and truthfully reflecting what they actually have available and in stock to be shipped!
So, again, do NOT order from this place unless you want to be waiting 3-4 weeks for your order to show up (hopefully). Even when you contact customer service, nothing gets escalated and you keep getting the same non-specific replies with no tracking numbers or anything.
*reply to their reply - yes, I utilize multiple platforms to purchase Spirits for my home bar and work, so I am free to review every one I've done business with. Out of those ten or so, y'all have been amongst the worst, with 3 to 4 others that stand out as the best. If you actually read my review, you'd know I've already engage your customer service team multiple times and while they do respond, it's all generic fluff and no concrete updates on my orders - namely shipping numbers that would reflect the order being with a carrier.
If you'd like to connect me with a manager who can actually provide concrete assistance, status, and shipping details, my order number is ORDER 030700000010307202430540400. I also have another order that was placed within the last few days, and hope it can be handled better than this one was as well.
Almost a week later - one of the bottles I have been waiting on for weeks was finally shipped and received, but it was the WRONG item. Still no shipping info on the other one. Emailed support three days ago and have heard nothing!

Eventually found the bottle i wanted and ordered it, even though the shipping cost was over £100.00 to UK. When it arrived it wasnt what i ordered and was told the manufactures have changed design. I wasnt informed before they sent it and know have a overpriced bottle thats not wanted. There customer services is non existant and is propbably the worst company ive ever dealt with. I should have checked the reviews before i ordered.

I ordered a hard to find 50y old whiskey. What I liked about them
- Responded to questions within 24h
- Delivered the exact item I ordered w/o substitutions
What I did not like
- Took all the money up front, I suspect this is because they buy it in the UK and have folks bring it over. So they need the money to buy first.
- Took 45d to deliver
- No progress update in between
- Price is much higher than UK stores (but they do not ship to the US)
Summary
Use them for hard to find/unique items definitely not for items you can get at Bevmo or TotalWine. Their prices are much higher - 3x the price in the UK - but I suspect they have folks bring them here. So use only for special occasions.
Total scam
It's a ripoff and borderline scam. Essentially you're paying someone to go get a rare bottle for you at some point in the future. You're better off doing it yourself. Just gross, really, places like this are strangling any enjoyment and pleasure out of collecting and drinking whisky. Sleazebags looking to make a few quick bucks off something they don't care about at all.

Fake Inventory on website
Cask Cartel posts bottles on their website that they do not have. There is no warning whatsoever that you are about to order something out of stock. They simply take the order, take your money, and go attempt to procure it after the sale... which can take weeks to months. They do not bother notifying you of anything in the meantime. Bottom line: If you order from cask cartel, you are gambling on when you will get it and possibly never. I tried multiple times. One arrived on time and one was 3 weeks late. This next one is 3 weeks late and not yet arrived.

What was pictured and described was not…
What was pictured and described was not what was sent. I ordered a 1972 bottle of scotch and paid $125 for it, what I received was a plastic jug of scotch that you can buy in any liquor store today for $25. They said refused my complaint saying that's what I ordered.
I blame myself, should have looked at the reviews.

Agree with most reviewers- this is a lousy business. Shipping policy lousy, state they wills sent “free gift”. That doesn’t come. Policy is clear - no returns and their prices are ridiculous. Don’t have anyone else to blame - I ordered thinking the person who requested it had researched. It was my bad that I paid 4 times the cost of the actual product! Lessened learned for me but I hope no one else buys from this overpriced on line marketing scheme.

This company is a scam
Ordered a bottle of gin for a Christmas present. I have been emailing Cask Cartel for 3 weeks due to the fact that it has still not been delivered (as of January 16th). Kept getting told "it is coming". Never arrived, never received shipping notification, and my last 2 emails to them received no response. So I finally disputed with my credit card. Merry Christmas to my friend who received nothing.

I was so excited to find this and give as a Christmas present. It took much longer than expected to arrive, I almost thought it wasn’t going to be here in time, and I messaged the company and they said it was coming from overseas but would be here soon. I knew I had to sign for it so once I got the notification it would be delivered I altered my work schedule so I wouldn’t miss it. They left it on the front porch without requiring my signature. I was surprised since it’s alcohol and not happy as I took off work for nothing. Anyway I opened it and it was a regular crown bottle and bag with a cowboys star basically sewn on it. Looked so cheap. No collector box like the picture and I was so let down. This was $200 for a bottle of regular crown. I called customer service and they asked me to send pictures. I did. They wrrr going to reach out to the seller but that was the last I heard. I went on eBay and found a man out of Texas selling his box for $40. He overnighted it to me and it came with the bag!! So I was able to salvage the gift. Meanwhile I have a $200 bottle of crown and a company that DOES NOT back their products. Do not buy from them, it’s a scam.
Ripoff
Their business model is to place very high prices on single bottle quantity hoping to fool buyers. Unfortunately it worked on me. $300 for a single $21 bottle of wine. They should spend less time writing insincere responses and more time making sure their prices represent fair value.
