Can’t keep up with production therefore…
Can’t keep up with production therefore platters are arriving late by several days which is nonuse for a business . Been using for 5 years now and the last year or so quality has dipped the lids struggle to stay on the platters and they are a different profile each order .

Hello Stewart and thanks for your comments. I will ask the team to investigate and report back to me with the facts so I can respond accordingly. What I need to point out to our caterline.net customers is that larger customers have to place their orders through the sales office so that production can be scheduled. We try to carry as much stock as we can but unfortunately it is not easy to predict demand and very few larger customers can give us forecasts & understand the lead times. Our on-line stock on th eother hand is much more consistent and predictable which is why we can confidently fulfil and despatch orders on a NEXT DAY service. Regarding your comments on quality, our quality standards have NOT changed and the many positive 5 star reviews bear testament to this. What we did experience a few weeks ago was a major breakdown on one of our lines and the lead time for spares ( from Germany) was in excess of 8 weeks and so we had to amend a tool to run on another machine which may be why you have experienced a closure issue ( I will investigate this but we haven to my knowledge had any other issues). The good news is that the machine has now been repaired and we have recently taken delivery of another machine to increase our capacity.
UPDATE. I believe you were informed on Thursday that we had just run out of stock of medium platter lids and they were scheduled into production. I'm pleased to report that our team worked on Sunday and despatched these and have already updated you that delivery will be made today.
