You will find us on the beautiful Hazenstraat in the Jordaan neighbourhood of Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are Open Tuesday-Saturday 12:00-20:00 and Sunday from 12:00-17:00. Putting great service front and forward, we provide our customers with honest advice, exceptional wines and a friendly smile. Our online store is open at all hours. Customers within Amsterdam can order by 12:00pm to receive their wines the same day. Next-Day delivery is also available for the rest of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. tijdige levering / verwachtingsmanagement
Lekker wijnen!
Ik deel de ervaringen over levering om dit proces wellicht te verbeteren?:
Ik besloot donderdag avond de bestelling te plaatsen om die vrijdag overdag te ontvangen. (Za middag vierde ik mijn verjaardag met een grote groep dus ik vond het een prettig idee dat de wijn dan alvast op temperatuur kon komen gedurende de nacht).
Ik bleef vrijdag thuis werken om de bestelling goed te ontvangen. Ik werd (pas?) om 12:00uur gebeld of het ok was dat de bestelling per koerier te ontvangen in de avond. Niet ideaal want ik was al thuis gebleven met de hoop het overdag te krijgen. Maar goed, de koerier zou dan tussen 18:00-20:00uur komen. Aangezien ik een feestje gaf wilde ik ook nog naar andere winkels om dingen op te halen. Dit kon niet meer in die tijdslot. Om 19:45 was de wijn nog niet geleverd. Ik heb toen wel via de bevestigingsemails het tel nr kunnen achterhalen. Ik zag ook dat de koerier helemaal op Ijburg was. Ik heb de koerier gesproken; hij kwam zeer ongeïnteresseerd over, niet echt 'customer service oriented'. Hij zei "ik kom nu die kant op". Ergens ca 21:00 uur ging er een bel, er werd niet gereageerd op mijn"hallo", er werd heel snel iets gedropt en vertrokken. Ik neem aan dat de koerier geen zin had mij te helpen de doos+zak naar 3 hoog te helpen dragen.
Kortom, ik vond het eigenlijk niet echt een prettige delivery-service ervaring. Vooral natuurlijk gezien de omstandigheden- dat je een feestje geeft en alles goed en op tijd wil preppen. Ik hoop dat dit helpt jullie service nog beter te maken. Want het idee is goed!

Thank you for letting us know about the issue you had with your order delivery. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. After reviewing your order, we discovered an error while assigning the delivery company to our system.
The tracking number we initially provided on Saturday was indeed correct. Regrettably, due to a software bug within Shopify, the number was processed only under DHL and not PostNL, resulting in an incorrect link being generated.
We understand that this may have caused frustration on your end.
We want to assure you that your order was dispatched within the expected delivery timeframe.
The order was received on Saturday, and as Sunday coincides with the closure of the post office and Monday being our non-operational day, it was dispatched today. And that's within our promised 1-3 Working Days
We understand that timely and accurate delivery is of utmost importance, and we regret any disappointment caused by this mistake.

Received my first shipment, with some delay (due to PostNL, not Chenin Chenin’s fault). The wines look very exciting, great variety, seems to be good value. Would have loved an accompanying letter/pamphlet with explanation of the wines, now I have to search for it myself (one of the wines isn’t featured on their website, so that one was a bit tougher to find information on). That would help make the experience more tailored/special.
