I had a very bad experience with Chitram tv. I will not recommend this to anyone as I had placed my order on 31st May and they send the box and after 3 weeks. The TV box was faulty as confirmed by the their own IT team. I had sent the box back to the sales team after informing them of the issue. Later they have sent another tv box after 3 weeks in early July 2023. I have tested the box and it was not working again. Upon the team’s advice I checked the box in my friend’s tv in my building and it was again not working so it was not an issue with my TV but with the box. I had brought this issue to Chitram tv’s sales team and requested them for a refund as I do not want further hassles. However the team informed me to send the box again and they will send another box. I had told them the previous instance to check and send the new box which they have not done and now they want me to send it back. Further they mentioned that they cannot give a refund. This is a bad customer service and experience and I will not recommend anyone to purchase from them

I rarely watch TV programs and whenever I wanted to Watch something there’s a problem with the channel, just to quote you some examples - when there was IPL finals there’s some issues and today I wanted to watch yesterday’s super singer it’s not playing up. To add fuel to the fire the technical support is one of the worst I have spoken to in my life. They are being so rude and it the guy talking to me like they were providing me the subscriptions for free. I didn’t ask them for any benefits I was asking them to provide the service which I have paid for. This will be my last year subscription with them and I definitely won’t let anyone buy this useless product.

Please note : there will be channels playing and not every channels have the problem, but you can’t watch what they play and everyone have their own priorities in watching.

I really wanted to mark a -1 star and I am sad that is not an option here on Trustpilot. I bought a ChitramTV box and it often gets hung and didn't work as expected. I contacted their support team many times and every time they recommend some settings and it works for another 30 minutes. I have 350 Mbps broadband connection at home and I tried both Ethernet and Wifi connections and it's the same. On the same TV, I have Google Chromecast which works without any buffering. Nowadays, the WhatsApp sales team stopped replying to me whereas earlier they told me, they will have to check with the management team for a replacement. So overall service is bad and I don't recommend it for anyone planning to buy it.

I have been using Chitram TV for the past 2 years, and it is a great way to stay in touch with news and other programs from back home.

Initially having brought this for elders who were visiting, we use this now to watch TV programs that are otherwise unavailable for viewing here.

Can only speak for Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi channels! I have not used other channels offered.

Recommend this for anyone from the S.Asian sub-continent.

I have done payment to there account for a new connection and the amount was deducted from my account.And still they are saying they are having problems in access there account so that they won’t send me the product or login details.Please don’t fall in to there trap they are asking me to pay again 131 pounds and no response in WhatsApp,they won’t contact you in emails.Please don’t fall into there prey it’s a fraud company
