Thank you for your review, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We are a small, dedicated team and always try to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. In your case, all items were listed as backorder, but we managed to get the Tilta product shipped within just a few days.

Unfortunately, the SmallRig gear ring kit was discontinued by the manufacturer. As soon as we received that update, we refunded it immediately and let you know so you wouldn’t have to wait unnecessarily.

We always try our best to keep everything up to date and communicate clearly, but sometimes its also out of our hands.

If there’s anything we can still help you with or if you need an alternative, feel free to reach out, we’re always happy to assist.

Lack of service and professionalism.

The communication started off reasonably well, but has now completely disappeared. I have been waiting for my order for a month now and still haven’t received any clear update on the delivery time, it’s mostly excuses without any concrete solution or clear explanation. They are now on holiday and are telling me that the factory in China is closed for one week, haha which only adds to the delay. At this point, I want my money back.

What makes this even more concerning is that many other reviews mention the exact same issues. This is clearly not an isolated incident, but a structural lack of service and professionalism. Based on my experience and that of many others, I strongly advise against ordering from this company.

Since this concerns a high amount of money and there is still no proper resolution, I will be contacting my bank to request a chargeback to recover my funds.

For clarity, the original order was delivered within a few days after it was placed. Unfortunately the lens had a factory defect. As soon as this was reported, we arranged the return and organized a replacement.

The replacement took longer than expected because there was no other unit of the same lens in stock and it needed to come from the manufacturer. This coincided with the Chinese New Year period, during which the factory was temporarily closed.

Despite the delay, we have already processed a full refund for you, so the matter has been resolved.

We regret that the situation caused frustration and we always aim to handle warranty cases as quickly and transparently as possible.

Ik heb heb een Charmera Kodak gehaald…

Ik heb hier laats een Charmera Kodak besteld omdat ik het met spoed nodig had voor een een vrienden trip en hun service was erg goed en ik kon de dag zelf nog de camera ophalen en ze waren heel aardig en hadden een goede service en ze konden goed helpen en hebben me goede adviezen gegeven over de camera en ik ben ze er heel dankbaar voor

No communication and long delivery time

I placed an order on November 26th and until today (January 18th) there is no update whatsoever about my order.
The website says that the order should be delivered around 10 days after purchase. What is the excuse here?

Multiple email updates were also sent regarding the expected delivery. Your order is now scheduled to be fulfilled this week.

Avoid at all costs

I placed my order on November 28th. After almost a month, it was shipped on December 24th. I still haven't received the products because, according to UPS tracking, the package hasn't left the Netherlands. The store hasn't responded to my messages regarding the shipment status or filing a complaint with UPS (which the UPS branch in Poland recommended). I will contact the distributor of the brand (PMI Gear) I ordered and the Dutch consumer protection authority.

Update - Your order has since been confirmed delivered.

Your order was shipped on December 24th, just before the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately, due to the holiday period and heavy end-of-year volume, the shipment appears to be delayed while in transit with UPS and has not yet moved beyond the Netherlands.

We are currently following this up directly with UPS to locate the parcel and will proceed with a claim on your behalf. We will contact you by email to discuss the next steps and resolve this as quickly as possible.

Perfect fast delivery

I purchased the Zoom LiveTrak L-20R mixer-recorder, and the delivery was impressively fast. Their phone support was prompt and very helpful as well. Overall, a great experience.

⚠️ They took my money, no communication, no delivery.

I ordered a product through cinegear.nl in July 2025. I noticed later on that there is a message on checkout only that says "Orders will be processed after 20th". I sent an email asking which 20th? of July? - no response. Later on I wrote multiple emails and called many times both Cinegear.nl and their other company westerparkstudio.nl - No answer, no email responses and nobody picks up their phones. Later, on 20th of August I went to the checkout page and this time it was saying "Orders will be processed after 25th".. not 20th as previously stated. What on earth is going on? Now it is past 25th and still nobody answers the phones or emails. ⚠️Did I just get scammed? Is the only option left (since there is NO communication from their side) to go in person to their address and look for my product or money back?

I’m sorry for the frustration you’ve had with your order and our lack of communication over the summer period. We were closed for our summer break, and during that time our webshop displayed a notice at checkout about orders being processed only after reopening. I understand this was confusing and I apologise if the wording caused uncertainty.

If your order was for a product listed as backorder, then we depend on the manufacturer’s and supply chain’s availability, which can sometimes extend the delivery time. Otherwise, your order has either already been processed or is currently being processed.

In any case, please rest assured that you have not been scammed, we are a small, independent company, and your order or refund will be handled properly. We will make sure to follow up with you to confirm the status and next steps.

Not very nice to warn upfront, now i had to order them somwhere else so i paid twice now...

At checkout, as well as on our website and Google listing, it was clearly stated that we are closed for our holiday break and that orders would only be shipped after our return. Unfortunately, it seems you may have missed this notice when placing your order.

Since your order was placed during our holiday period, it could not be shipped immediately. To avoid further inconvenience, I have already processed a full refund for your payment.

I understand it was frustrating to discover this afterwards, and I’m sorry for the trouble it caused. We’ll always do our best to make our holiday closures as visible as possible.

We have been trying for two months to get information on equipment sent for repair and it has been impossible to get any information.

Hi Michel, you may have us confused with another company as we have no sales or RMA's or any information with your name. We also have no products for repair that remained with us for over two months.

Best maybe you can phone the company where you sent your equipment for repair, I'm sure they will be able to help you.
