Absolutely amazing. Made things really easy and straightforward from booking to actual move.

Due to issues with purchase of property was forced to break chain meaning planned move had to change but CityMove were amazing and really responsive and quick in helping change the plan and arranging for storage.

I used city moves on the 21st of August.They loaded the van and we needed to wait for the completion,so the van went away awaiting a call from me. I was told if it takes me past 1 pm it will cost me additional 120 £ per hour to which I agreed. Just before 3 pm I tried contacting them,but noone would pick up. A while after I was told the van had broken down and it's unsure if they can make it the same day. Multiple times I was offered to have my stuff delivered after the weekend free of extra charge, which left me with the impression that they are short of staff. I could not accept staying in an empty house with no bed,no blanket, nothing for 3 nights,paying nearly 100 0£ for the service. Anyway,the van after Multiple calls arrived and delivered on Saturday midday after a nightmare night.I had to help with he delivery, as the man was on his own. For the fantastic service and despite that the delay was not my fault and it caused me a great deal of inconvenience and uncertainty, I got charged extra 360£. I'm not sure how did they get the extra charge or aren't they ashamed to add the extra charges. One thing I'm sure of,I'll never recommend them or use them again.
UPDATE: After a early morning call from the company, regarding my review, during which call I asked the gentleman to keep down the tone as it is making me stressed and I did not deserve it,the gentleman put the phone down.Since I have looked at the phone calls log on my phone.I have called richard 3 times ar 2:44 and then,as there was no reply I called the main office and I managed to speak with a lady at 2:45 .She was unaware as of to where are van was so she updated me later that the van had broken down.So the times and the info in the reply are far from correct. The truth is,the quote was very different to start with,went up to what I agreed, I also agreed with the delay of less than 2 hours unexpected charge. I do not agree with being left one night to sleep with clothes on the floor and being charged after their delay 360£.I also find the behaviour after my review absolutely appalling and the lies in the comment below fit with the whole experience. No need to thank me for the feedback, as I'm sure it won't lead to any improvement.

Our move with city moves from booking to the move day went smooth no problems.
Boys turned up at time they said they would. They were very polite. Moved all the stuff that was booked in to be moved, very quick and efficient loading and unloading the van. Would defo use again and would defo recommend. 5*

Good quick house emptying done in a few hours . Boys were very careful and everything packed well for the move . Allowed us time to do final tidy of house before departure. Went on ahead to new property fitting in their break so worked well. When we arrived they were all set up to offload . Furniture placed where ever needed and did reposition few items took care of front door with covers and carpets . Overhaul great experience would use again great friendly team . Thank you all

Difficult move and a difficult time - partner's mother had passed and hadn't clear and move the contents of the house quickly. From South West Wales to Manchester with a stop off in Wales. From initial contact abd arrangements to final move, City Moves looked after us. Made a difficult time much easier. It was a very competitive quote too. Half that of a local firm.

City Moves ensured our downsizing move, which had been potentially very stressful, was actually calm, efficient and speedy. We were delighted bytheir cheerful, calm and efficient approach to the task and their expertise in locating everything just where we wanted it. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The three gentlemen that came with the truck were amazing and incredibly professional. They started when they said they would on the first (pick up) and last (delivery) days. Somehow they got all of our stuff and our plants on the van. I could not recommend them more and would use them again!

Wow, what can I say, amazing company - please use them. So friendly, accommodating, nothing too much trouble and very competitive price wise. Son moved from Ebbw Vale to Wrexham so full house move. There was a slight problem with the van on the morning of the move, but they went back and changed the van, in the meantime 2 other removal men arrived to move all the stuff downstairs to give the other lads a head start when they got back with the van. Boy did they pack efficiently and quickly. Didn’t get the names of the 2 guys who helped initially but they were great and along with Marcus and Ewan who did the actual move, the van was packed up in 1.5 hours, they even waited while I hoovered the empty rooms so I could put hoover on the van. It was a 3 hour drive,and they were still cheerful, friendly, polite and efficient, offloading the contents to whichever room we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. They even reassembled the sofa, the bed including the headboard and connected the washing machine for us. That’s why I started this review with a `Wow’. 5 * plus, would recommend to anyone and we would definitely use them again. Thank you for making the move stress free. Please pass our thanks on to the guys who helped us.

Marcus and Addi helped us move in Cardiff. Not the easiest move by far from a steep stairs up to first floor flat. The two of them were absolutely pro and moved us effortlessly and so quickly! Arrived on time and their office was very easy to deal with and quick to quote. Very impressed! Thank you guys!
