Have been trying to implement Clerk Chat in our environment for a couple of months now. Their website shows false advertising for features that don't exist as shown. Their integration documentation is completely outdated. They also seem to only have one integration expert, which happens to be the co-founder of the company. I understand it might be a small team working on the product but having to wait for answers to technical questions is frustrating. It got to the point where I had to reverse-engineer the integration based of the limited photos on their site, which, again, has photos of features that don't exist and aren't on their development roadmap.

Their CRM integration also pops out every time you refresh the tab or open a new one, when with limited laptop screen space becomes increasingly frustrating for our users. Other software companies with similar integrations typically have a script that keeps it minimized unless clicked, and I hope Clerk Chat gets there someday.

They get two stars for the fact that you can send texts through their software and have text activities automatically be created in CRM. I had to build a flow using their API connection that updates the owner of each text activity due to more limitations, but at least auto-creates the record.

Three of us run the whole business. Clerk Chat's AI makes it feel like we have a full support department. Handles inquiries, books appointments, follows up. Total game changer.

Everyone from sales to support uses Clerk Chat daily. The shared inbox keeps us organized and the AI handles the repetitive stuff so our team focuses on real problems.

Shitty Texting App
This App is slow, can't send videos over 3 seconds and crashes often. It feels like a no one is around except some shitty AI assistant when you're trying to activate a phone number and because the service is so shitty it can't even make the call to send the verification code to the number needing verification. This product needs more work than a 100-year-old house with a termite infestation.

Clerk chat is an integral part of our business allowing our Microsoft Teams telephone system to do SMS messaging.

The sales rep we dealt with over two or three weeks decided to go over our heads and email our CEO when we gave him a flat no and said we didn't want their service. That's pretty scummy.

Despite our flat no, there was a possibility we might come back to it in the future, but after the sales rep decided to go above our heads like that, there's no possibility we would ever go with this company ever again.

Clerk Chat exceeded our expectations. A huge shoutout to Josh Hancock, who was instrumental in getting us up and running. He walked us through the entire process, answered all our questions, and made what seemed daunting feel effortless. Since implementing Clerk Chat, we’ve been able to handle customer inquiries faster and more effectively. Customers love that they can reach us via text on the same number they call, and we love how it keeps everything professional and efficient. I can’t imagine running our business without it now!

The service was mediocre at best, and the support team was slow to resolve issues. Clerk doesn’t provide pro-rated refunds for annual plans, which is a big downside. I’d recommend skipping this one and choosing a more accommodating option instead.

After a successful sign up using Microsoft SSO, we aren't able to log in for three (3) months. The only replys we get are 'We are working on it' and 'Please sign in and change this and that in your account'. Well, that's exactly the problem: we can't sign in anymore.

Keeping a chat system updated with accurate responses and AI improvements requires continuous investment, making it costly for small businesses.

Really, they are a scam. I'm trying to log in with my Outlook account, but their system is terrible. I can't unsubscribe from my account either. They don't respond to my support ticket. Very bad service. I've been paying for three months without being able to use the service.

I've had many successful interactions with the folks at ClerkChat. Their support team is quick to respond and thorough. Kudos to the entire service team!

It's hard to find a platform that balances user-friendliness with serious security features. Clerk Chat does it all. Onboarding took less time than expected, and the whole them finds it intuitive.

Had a great experience with Vale in support, resolving an issue with Clerk’s Slack integration.

Took some time to get there but Vale was detailed, kind, and got me on a call to make sure every last issue and concern was resolved.

Very attentive and they go above and beyond to get your issue resolved. The product is easy to setup and use. I am happy with the product and cannot wait to see how it evolves.
